End of Week 10 (Third week of flower) The ladies are frosting up slightly and there are trichomes developing on the fan leaves, this can only mean that they are happy, the genetics are fire and that we are in for a treat! The main top-sites are swelling up by the day. Trying to keep the training to a bare minimum and ONLY removing fan leaves that are blocking bud sites. The lower part of the canopy is denser than I would have liked but I do not want to stress the plants too much by removing it at all. I will now try to keep a cooler average temperature in the following couple of weeks to promote healthy flower development and hopefully bring out some beautiful colours - and also keep the relative humidity lower to ensure that the plants aren't susceptible to mould and mildew. She's still alive! I don't know what I could be doing better. But buds aren't swelling up much but she still has some time to grow.

She is still in a nice routine of having 2/3 liters every 2 days. Like clockwork. Will be using overtime instead of big bud in a week. Finally stopped growing vertical growth I believe at 37 inches, now I'm excited how fat these buds are gonna get. The 5 gallon has so many Colas they are beautiful. Day 45 - Buds are really starting to fill in and fatten up. Drinking 3 liters every 2 days now with pots drying out fully Day 47 - my 3 gallon pot i am feeding half dose nutes compare to the 5 gallon pot which is needing more N. she is much more thirsty drying out faster too. Makes sense she is double the size in all ways.

Hey now, hope everyone is staying safe, good week for the Red Hot Cookies, she is still looking a little deformed with her leaves, but she is green and healthy. The Medic Grow is still running at 30% in the V1 or vegetative stage which is the mostly blue spectrum. I am watering them every other day or so with a small syringe around the edge of the solo cups. I am hoping to transplant them i about 48 hours to 3.4 gallon airpots and hook them up to an automatic fertigation system that feeds every 6 hours or so. OK this was my 1st grow and I set everything up went through all my controls and away to go ... wrong after pre flower came I couldn't understand why I wasn't getting these ladies to flip.... So I went through everything with runoff feeds Everything you can think of except my timers on the lights and this low and behold was the problem!! where I was going to the tent at similar times everyday the light was on and the timers were set right on the clock except I didn't see the switch on the side that makes the timer work continuously or to how the clock is set....🙈😔 Found this and away to go my ladies had some well needed sleep and away to go they flipped By now these had all bushed right out but were getting no tricomes I now had a hell of a load of feeds and kept up the way I was feeding Water Water Feed and all 4 plants in my tent were all heading for the finish line at the same time.... And now I've cut the Northern and the jack down and from my northern lights I had 200g dry weight I didn't do a wet weight it was too hard to do in the space I had (too many colas and massive nugs along with the stragglers that were lost in amongst it all ) She was really resilient and to have come through all those weeks of no rest and only light for 24hrs continuously I'm surprised that I've got this far Flavours and smells are great and the smoke isn't the strongest but when cure now I will see how this little lady comes on I'm happy for my 1st and have learned so much throughout this journey I will update with more but the next diary will be of the other lady in the tent and will give a more detailed explanation of the full journey but as far as crop goes she gave and gave and gave that little more !! Thanks all for following and I hope my next write up will be all the more detailed for u 😀 As she drys mire and more and I've got the exact weight down her figures are not really changing as I've dried her down as much as I want to ....even if this was something that I wanted to keep as a heavier product weather it was for keeping for myself which is what I will be doing rather than to try to get extra weight if I was doing this grow for resale, but this was never the case it was always a grow I've done to help lower my own smoking costs for my own gain and not resale... So again very happy as these final weights are getting revised there will be more to add to the weight with 1 more plant on the harvest but almost double if not more than doubling what I have already put on but I will change my numbers to 2 lots p .tent and an extremely challenging massive yield OMG 😲 she has yes given given and given more beyond more !!!!

So, eventful week. Prior to putting my seeds into my system, my light and rdwc system was left on as I was dialling in the growing environment before placing the seeds as a final home. My only issue was I had a light leak BEFORE putting the foil top covers on the clay pebbles. Long story short, I got algae which ended up turning to root rot. I spotted it very swiftly and did a res change adding beneficial bacteria to the system along with the base products of remo nutrients. A few days later new growth and recovery is taking place. Day 16- Fully back on track, new roots shooting out into the water and the growth rate has picked up as it should. Foliar feeding twice a day for a little boost until the root system establishes a bit more. Huge changes in just a day. Can't wait to see what a week's growth looks like. Really loving the sunset/sunrise feature on the trolmaster, something I got to experience watching recently! Watching by closely to make sure everything stays in track. Stay tuned for the next one 😉

Got a new light this week, it's basically a HLG 260 R-Spec except locally manufactured using the same Samsung LEDs. Big Mumma got her 60x60cm tent today and will go in there under one Viparspectra 300W blurple (130w from the wall). I trimmed her, super cropped her main stem and added a scrog net in preparation of flowering her in the next couple of days. Because my other plants were getting up past 75cm after 7 days of flower (100cm is my absolute max) , I decided to supercrop the canopy back down to about 60-65cm - it was pretty scary and I definitely broke the outer stem on some of them. Also gave them a good trim. Fortunately most bounced back strong the next day which are the most up-to-date photos you see (17/4/20).

Weekly update on these beautiful ladies. Did another defoliating this week as well as lollipopped them up another node. I feel it helps mature the lower flower sites and allows plenty of airflow though the leafs. I introduced bloom nutes as well as P&K. All in all Happy Growing.
