Week 9.5 been really busy ,I added the light bar under the canopy to help with light penetration as well as a few rounds of defoliation ...they have been very thirsty recently so I've upped the amount of food .

This strain is fantastic to grow, another week down and flowering is really starting to show 🙏😁 untied them after last week's post and they have really reacted well. Humidity still isnt as low as i would like even with carbon filter n exhaust fan and a dehumidifier its sitting 58-62, all plants seem to be doing fine though thankfully. Starting to produce some smell now when in and out of the tent, god bless carbon filters 😂🙏 Excited to see what the next few weeks have in store. Have a great weekend everyone 💚

Just jarred up for the cure, and these flowers are already top 10 favorite all time. It's just full of chemical funk, and makes me high like I was back in HS. Holy shit. I can't say enough good things about the terp profile on this stuff. I can barely describe it in the state it's put my mind at the moment, wow. I wish I had treated her well during the grow, but I'm still learning. I will 100% be growing these genetics again. Given how good it is with my newbie skills, I can hardly imagine what it'll be like when I know what I'm doing. I grew two ladies in one 13 gallon RDWC bucket. Even sharing root space, they outgrew my tent and I spent all of her flower trying to save the run. Not much more I can write at the moment other than 10/10 wow.

Non so già più che training fare per ridurre l altezza come le altre, che mi sa rimarranno più basse xké una gentica poi stabile e piccola forse .. dovrò impegnarmi per la prima volta a fare uno scrog fatto bene , anche se è la mia prima volta perché ho sempre voluto lascia più libera possibile la crescita e quindi "l anima" l essenza primaria della pianta magica!!🧙‍♂️ringrazio Mars hydro davvero per la fiducia che mi ha donato perché questa luce sta facendo la differenza, tutte le ragazze crescono in modo esponenziale e uniforme in ogni parte della grow come se ci fosse del sole naturale! Una planta que necesita bastante tiempo para madurar, tiene un olor dulce y afrutado con toques citricos y unos tonos a melocotón. Le ha faltado luz durante las primeras semanas y eso ha influido en el resultado funal.

Very start of week 9. Stacking up nice, frost everywhere.

Method 📊📊📊 She trained incredibly well and recovered faster from topping than the NL did to a fim. This grow was a slightly different take on a traditional manifold leaving the top growth tips from each 2nd node (first topping) in place. This gave us 10 main colas as opposed to eight and we also left in a few extra shoots which proved to yield just that little bit extra.😉. If we had the space we would’ve stuck with 8 monster colas. Instead, we tried to squeeze usable bud out of every square inch. Maintenance was a bit of a bitch - had to defo numerous times to keep the light penetration optimal. Which brings us to the grow light - I won’t say it was ineffective cause that’s just not true. But, if this one had gotten much bigger we’d have seen some serious diminishing returns in bud quality. The tops and middles of each 10-12” cola were dense and chunky but the lower buds on the outer branches were like giant fluffy larf pillows. Thankfully there weren’t too many of these and I might’ve been able to solve this issue with some yo-yo’s if I wasn’t so damn lazy and “😜” when work’n on the garden. So, grow light review now that we’re through a few cycles - vipar spectra gets a 6/10 from me. It will grow solid, quality bud but certainly has its limitations. Their manual says it’s 450w should cover a space roughly twice the size of mine. I disagree and actual wattage draw is more like 200w. I’m gonna try to stick to photoperiod SCROGs with it in the future. Only real way to max out it’s effectiveness. Big plus - it’s about perfect for this particular space: 1:. Medium 🎛️🎛️🎛️🎛️ Coco is now the go-to medium in lieu of soil when we grow indoors. I can’t specifically say that the growth time is sped up compared to soil because I’m always growing something different but - she did recover very quickly from her toppings and the drainage is wayyyyy better. The fact that it’s nute neutral allows us to dictate exactly what the plant receives at all times. IMO - more manageable and precise than soil. Include a regular diet of calmag and ur good to grow.: 1: Yield🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴 Oh man what a gong show😎. The book on this one says that you’ll end up having to add support for her as bud weight becomes a serious issue in late flower. RQS is absolutely right, I had three smaller colas on the perimeter stretch for the last corner of light and they just got weighed down by the bud and pretty much fell over😂. We like this. Now the numbers - i did the math twice (and while sober just to make sure😉), you don’t wanna do it, it sucked, so you’ll just have to trust me: 1:. Total dried yield for the kush alone: 3.32oz. This crushes the single plant yield for any strain grown in this cabinet to date by well over an 1oz. : 1:😎. Total harvest yield across both plants: 4.99oz. This also crushes the record yield per cycle in the cabinet by a full ounce!: 1:😎👌💪🤩. The stats say an avg. of 500-550g/m2. Based on the rough size of my cabinet the avg. should be 131.25g/0.25m2.... our actual harvest across both strains - 140.6/0.28m2. That’s pretty damn good and spot on with the specs: 1:.😎 Props👊👊👊👊👊 A great many thanks to everyone who stopped in and cared to take some interest in this cycle. The NYC Diesel is growing well! A slight skunky smell is already developing around the plant, so I expect she is going to get quite pungent as she develops. Recovery after the FIM seems fine to my inexperienced eyes, and I will be starting LST with lawn staples/plant stakes later in the week. She has been growing low and bushy which is good for my space, and I expect her to explode with growth over the next few weeks. Now that she is growing quickly, I am going to slowly increase the megacrop and cal/mag accordingly. I don't want to overdo it, but I want the feeding well dialed in for when flowering begins.

Day 59 of flower. Probably gonna chop her this weekend. She looks and smells great! Such an improvement over the first time I grew this (which was my first grow).

Got the plants in the mars hydro along side other plants from my other diary had them outside but they just weren't growing as fast one week on the tent and they picked right up and look healthy as ever
