They were all very slow to start compared to all the other strains I grew and seemed to dislike everything I was doing. Real problem children.... They were runty until about the last 2 weeks of their lives, then really packed it on and ripened quickly. I was really surprised they weighed as well as they did, but they all really fattened up with I added the other QB, bringing the total wattage to 360w in the 5 sq ft space. Didn't keep separate weights, but the total was 168g...roughly 40g's per plant. Final thoughts: Of the 6 DD's I've grown over the past couple of years, they are consistently a pain in my ass, and poor-producers.. but it's top-shelf bud. This time I trimmed before drying. The buds are very nice and dense. This grow was very quick and satisfying. I expected more grams but I am still a newbie, I have a lot to learn. I cured it for 2 weeks and the taste is "mama mia". Thank You for letting me participate to this contest !

Due to problems with autoflower genetics and refusing to flower. I am pleased with final result. I knew my yield would take a hit by using 3 gallon pots. Just was not planning for these plants to take damn 100 days. Roots were coming thru bottom of bags. Not good. But happy results and beautiful purple nugs. See what the cure does. Edit/ update: with few days of curing smell and taste have dramatically improved. There is basically no woody taste or smell, just grapey and sour with a hint of spicy. I change my strain score to 9/10. Due to not being able to update after 1 hr of original post. The only reason I give a 9 is because of Flowering problem. Update: week of curing smooth as butter and fruity and flowery flavor mellow draw with a little kick no harshness at all. Pleseant take.

Organization was the word for the week. I organized the leaves on Daphni by cutting some old fan leaves and low level leaves. I organized my CO2 injection procedure. CO2 tank to REGULATOR thru SOLENOID connected to TIMER every two hours with lights on. I also organized the power strip in the back with cable ties and sleeves. Finally I had to organize my way out of a FUBAR situation when the oxigenating device in the RainForest 66 Reservoir stopped working. I will have some words to say to Katie in customer service for sure. I got a standard oxiginator and a disk shaped air stone and use that now to keep the water healthy. Daphni is staring to bud more on the lower nodes and the progress so far looks good. Knock on wood. Since i turn the exhaust fan off when CO2 is injected i dont really need the heater so I took it out. Have a great week.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

First I merge the HDR image from 3 bracketed shots, then I apply my custom color adjustment in the HDR resulting image. **Update** 96.5 grams dry from 1 Autoflower! Amazing smells, still has some of the 🍈 funk. She needs to cure to let the Terps and Flavors come out. She is still very sticky and resinous. Will update once a week or two of cure is done, but with the 1 joint I smoked, full heavy hitter, body buzz and heavy head high. Looking forward to the finished product. This plant flourished with little work on my part. Good nutrients, and not being too hands on let this beast do her own thing. I would definitely recommend as a beginner strain/auto flower to go with, she is easy to see through to the end. Didn’t really need much attention until flower came on and she fed hard for phosphorus and potassium while she stacked. I’ve got some of her cousins already sprouted and am looking forward to trying some different techniques to see what she can do! Happy growing all 🌱😎

Week 10 since switched to 12/12h. (it's in time if the first week of blooming is deducted.) Trichomes're 80% cloudy. I didn't find any amber trichome yet. Pistils are 50% orange 50% white. Today I started flushing the coco (a lot!). I really don't want any sign of fertilizer in my pot. So, from here no more food, only plain water. Suggestions are always welcome!

Week 1 🌱 Vegetation Check out who wants to make an appearance—if that wasn't a huge leap in growth, I don't know what was 😍 Right now, she's soaking up plenty of sun and is pretty thirsty as a result. I'm curious to see how she'll continue to grow once the weather cools down a bit. But until then, I hope she keeps growing strong 🌱
