Really love a set of scales to keep track of weight too. pH and EC are both critical for thriving plant health, but temperature also plays a pivotal role in achieving optimal growth. It also happens to be the fundamental parameter that's most commonly overlooked. When you think about temperature in the context of a growing environment, you could be referring to the temperature of the air around the plants or you could also be referring to the temperature of nutrient solution or irrigation water, which will affect the root zone temperature. While air temperature is important, for the purposes of this piece, I'll be focusing on root zone temperature and its effect on nutrient uptake and overall plant health. That's because a plant's root system is the location of two essential chemical processes: water and nutrient absorption. In each of these processes, having the correct root zone temperature is paramount for these to occur efficiently. In a nutshell, root zone temperature will affect the rate at which your plants are able to absorb nutrients. If you let your root zone temperature remain unmonitored and uncontrolled, this could lead to disastrous effects on your overall crop yield. Nutrient absorption is largely driven by chemical processes, which take place in your plants' roots; the efficacy of these processes is determined by the temperatures to which those roots are exposed. Once your root zone temperature moves out of its optimal range, the plant will not be able to deliver optimal levels of nutrients and water. Ideally, you should aim to have your nutrient solution or irrigation water temperature at around 18 – 22 °C (65 - 72 °F) to ensure optimal nutrient and water uptake. In addition to having an effect on nutrient absorption, your root zone temperature also affects oxygen availability and solubility. If your water is too warm, you could risk starving your roots of oxygen as warm water cannot hold as much dissolved oxygen as colder water. On the other hand, if your water is too cold, this could shock your plant roots, decrease plant metabolic rates, and stunt plant growth.

This is a step up from my Wilma 4 pot. I can get more in the system water wise and Easyer to clean out. Any advice or tips with rdwc feel free to comment 😎😊

Girls are trucking along without much issue. I did have a bit of PH flux due to my PH meter calibration being off but no biggie, she didn't show too much signs of stress. These girls are starting to stink which I'm happy about, hoping for a really cheesy harvest :D

Hi! Last week the plant started showing her pistils while stretching a lot, I installed a new mesh 15cm above the first one to support the canopy, and she already reached and passed the new net. I bought 3 more drippers for the Blumat, completing the circle around the pot, I also bought the Blumat maxi to install on the middle of the pot, but I decided not to move forward with the installation because I fought it would do much damage to the roots. I think I finally achieved a good moisture level on the soil, it was more difficult with the larger pot, I think it was too much at the beginning, but the plant is really drinking a lot! The humidity is a little higher than I expected after the carbon filter was installed, it keep floating between 65-75% which was good for vegetative phase, but dangerous to the flowering stage the plant is currently in. I did some defoliation to try to lower the humidity, but there was no improvement noticed. I’m accepting tips here :) The light is a little bit closer to the canopy, for now there is no signal of light burn, I’ll keep it closer during the flowering period. Can’t wait to harvests all this buds!

I watered them with 4,5l and they absolutely loved it. Went out of town for 5 days on day 36 and gave them a good amount too. Really excited about the progress they make in the 5 days! Update: They totally crushed it! Amazing growth happened while I was out of town and I had to defoliate them on day 41.

Very strongly cut off, I prepare to the beginning of flowering, he released a call that for some reason had a pair of leaves, because of which it turned out to be a little more torn off than it cost, I will give her a couple of days and we will begin the translation into flowering, also revealed a call which has 3 points of growth on each floor. Changed lighting: 37 watts white 55 watts blue, 38.5 watts red, Today I fully watched the side lighting and the electrics, controlled from a smartphone similar to the top lamp

Hi guys... welcome back I wanted to dedicate this diary to my resilience, to my constant ambition, to my desire to always try again to never stop chasing a dream....To all those who opened their doors to me this year, but also to those who closed them to me!...Yes, especially to those who closed them in my face.... Because it is precisely thanks to these people that they have become increasingly stubborn in telling you... I can DO it! And in particular I dedicate it to you....to all the people who love and enjoy watching and appreciating my growth.... thanks guys Happy and abundant harvests for everyone👩🏼‍🌾
