Tenth week of flowering started. I went out a week and at my return I discovered that the #2 is sick. The plant doesn't drink anymore and a lot of branches are falling down with limp leaves. I think that the missing defoliation, the height and the poor ventilation caused that. At the moment I removed her from the tent moving her out to the balcony. I did a huge defoliation to the #1 and a massive LST in order to low the height of buds that reached the lamp that is at its maximum height. So far I gave to the plant only water. I think that the cause of plant disease is the high humidity level (at least 90%...). Tomorrow I will buy a dehumidifier hoping that this will help the remaining plant. D63: changed the water into the pot. Added 15 ml grow, 30ml micro and 40ml bloom. pH@5.5 EC 1.2 D64: after the defoliation the plant seems to be healthy. The humidity into the tent is still high, tomorrow I will install the dehumidifier. D65: I've put a dehumidifier into the tent, I've added 3 liters of tap water to the pot; the plant is drinking a lot so I think that she is fine. The plants produces a lot of fat buds, so I've checked the trichomes for the first time, they are clear for the majority. D67: added 5 liters of tap water to the pot. The plant is drinking a lot

Week 13 and 3rd week of flower started today 8/29. I did some Schwazzing last night! They were definitely ready!!! Temps outside are starting to go down so it's looking like a nice, gradual transition! Well... She's moving. And she's moving FAST. 😂🚂💨 Last week we talked about letting the plants do their thing. This week? Cash Express seems to have taken that as a personal challenge. Because she's definitely doing her thing. She's developing. She's progressing. She's putting on flowers. She's changing. And now... she's starting to smell. A LOT. 👃🌸😂 And that's when you really start paying attention. Because there is something special about reaching the stage where the plant doesn't just look like it's flowering... you can actually start experiencing the flowering process with another sense. The aroma is becoming part of her story. And I'm very curious to see where this girl is going. ──────────────────────── 🌱 The 8×8 Adventure — Same Room, Different Stories For anyone discovering this diary now, welcome to the 8×8 Adventure. This project is all about putting different genetics and phenotypes into the same general environment and allowing each one to show us what she naturally wants to become. Twelve plants. Different genetics. Different phenotypes. One room. One 12/12 lighting strategy. One irrigation system. One general nutritional approach. One lighting ecosystem. One grower. And somehow... twelve completely different stories. That's what makes this project so much fun. Because even when the environment is shared, the plants don't read the same script. Some are compact. The flowers are becoming more established. The plant is changing noticeably. And the whole structure is beginning to look increasingly like a proper late-flowering plant rather than a plant that's still deciding what she wants to become. There's momentum. And I really like seeing that. Because this is the stage where the plants start revealing more of their final personality. Earlier in the cycle, we were mostly watching architecture. Stretch. Branches. Canopy. Training. Structure. Now? The flowers are becoming the main event. And Cash Express is starting to put some serious effort into that part of the story. ──────────────────────── 🌸 Maybe Not The Prettiest Girl... I'm going to be honest. 😂 She may not be the prettiest girl in the room. And that's okay. Beauty is subjective. And when you've got twelve different plants sitting beside each other, there are always going to be some that immediately grab your attention more than others. Cash Express Pheno A isn't necessarily the girl that makes you stop from across the room and say: "OH MY GOD!" 😂 But then you look closer. And you start seeing her. Her structure. Her flowers. Her individuality. Her little peculiarities. And suddenly you realize: She's got charm. She's got character. She's got her own kind of beauty. And that's actually something I really appreciate. Because not every phenotype needs to be conventionally beautiful to be fascinating. Sometimes the unusual ones are the ones you remember. If I judged every plant purely by appearance... I'd miss half the story. Some plants are extremely symmetrical. Some are incredibly frosty. Some have perfect-looking flowers. Some have crazy structures. Some are compact. Some are stretched. Some are simply... different. And Cash Express Pheno A falls into that last category for me. She's not necessarily the picture-perfect princess of the tent. But she's interesting. She's unique. She's developing quickly. And now she's giving us something else to pay attention to: her aroma. And honestly? I'll take interesting over predictable any day. 😂🚂🌸 ──────────────────────── 👃 Oh... Now She's Starting To Smell This is the part that has really caught my attention. She's starting to smell. And not just: "Maybe if I put my nose close enough..." No. She's starting to make herself known. 😂👃💨 The aroma is becoming noticeable enough that I find myself paying attention whenever I'm around her. And that's exciting. Because aroma development is another piece of the phenotype puzzle. The visual appearance tells us one thing. The structure tells us another. The flowering speed tells us another. And then the plant starts telling us something through its aroma. Now I'm curious. What is she going to smell like as she continues developing? How much stronger will that expression become? What kind of character is going to come through? And where is all of this going? I don't know. But I'm very interested in finding out. ──────────────────────── 💡 Still Under The Same Lighting Experiment And just like everyone else in the 8×8, Cash Express Pheno A is still experiencing the upgraded lighting environment. Future of Grow supplied us with two additional Black Series 600W fixtures for this experiment. The additional fixtures initially pushed the available PPFD higher than we wanted. So we brought the output down. We're currently running around: 🔌 59% power from the plug with approximately: ☀️ 1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy. And Cash Express is right there underneath all those photons. She's not receiving a special lighting treatment. She's not getting a secret little VIP setting. She's getting the same general room environment as the other girls. And yet... look at how differently she's expressing herself. That's the fun. Same light. Different plant. Different response. ──────────────────────── ☀️ Photons In — Cash Express Out This is one of my favourite parts of the experiment. We provide the photons. The plant decides what to do with them. And Cash Express seems to have decided: "I'm going to turn these into flowers... and then I'm going to make the whole room smell." 😂💨🌸 Fair enough. That's a pretty good use of photons. The upper canopy is receiving strong light. The lower portions naturally receive less depending on plant height and structure. And the plant itself decides how to position its leaves and flowers within that three-dimensional environment. We're not trying to force every plant into exactly the same shape. We're watching how each phenotype uses the space. And Cash Express is certainly using hers. ──────────────────────── 🥥 Nutrition — A Small Step Back For The Whole Room The nutritional program has also been adjusted slightly this week across the entire room. Terra Bloom has been reduced from: 🌸 2.3 ml/L to: 🌸 2.0 ml/L This brought the EC down slightly to: ⚡ ~2.05 mS/cm The rest of the current recipe remains: 🌱 Pure Zym — 1 ml/L 🌿 Power Buds — 1 ml/L 🍯 Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L ⚗️ pH Plus — 0.03 ml/L 🍋 Lemon Kick — 0.03 ml/L 🌸 Terra Bloom — 2.0 ml/L Again, this is a room-wide adjustment. We're not trying to micromanage every plant individually. We're allowing the whole room to progress together while watching how each phenotype responds. And Cash Express? Every week starts bringing more visible change. The flowers become more defined. The plant becomes more obviously floral. The aroma develops. The overall structure starts looking increasingly mature. Hello Growmies, As we step into the eighth week of our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrids' flowering stage, the dance of growth and aroma continues to enchant our senses. These delightful plants, sharing their space with Epic Buzz and Red Banana Pudding varieties, inch ever closer to the pinnacle of their bloom. The Watermelon Candy cultivars are flourishing with an undeniable zest, their foliar tapestry thick with the potential of what's to come. The air is thick with their intoxicatingly sweet scent, a testament to their namesake, and their buds are expanding with satisfying robustness. Plant #1 is maintaining its lead with a striking bud formation, clearly thriving in the consistent environment of the Tent-X system. Plant #2 and Plant #3 are not far behind, with each showing a wealth of budding sites and a sprawling canopy that speaks to a bountiful harvest ahead. Despite being under a 12/12 light cycle along with the photoperiod plants, which may limit their yield compared to a 20/4 cycle, these plants are putting on a splendid show. They continue to swell, their trichome-frosted buds promising a powerful and flavorful finale. Nutrition continues on a carefully scheduled five-day rotation, our blend of Alga Bloom, Sugar Royal, Power Roots, and Orca nurturing these beauties into their late flowering phase. Besonderheiten: Der Boden um den still herum wurde mit Holzasche behandelt gegen Meltau. -Tag 136 die Membrana sieht sehr gut aus nach der Entlaubung und wir denken dass der stretch auch vorbei ist, die oberen Colas sehe heute dicker aus 😜 -Tag 137 Heute haben wir sie gegossen mit ca. 30l Wasser und 3l Brenneseljauche 😎 -Tag 141 Unsere Monster sieht gut aus, hat aber ein paar Probleme. Einige Blüten sind von Pilzbefall betroffen, deshalb schneiden wir sie ab. Außerdem haben wir an den Spitzen rote Spinnmilben gefunden. Noch sind es nicht allzu viele, aber sicherheitshalber schlagen wir mit Phytoseilus Persimilis zurück. Die einzige, die das Recht hat, die Membran zu fressen, ist die Raupe, die sich bereits daran erfreut. Ansonsten haben wir sie heute wieder mit Jauche gegossen, diesmal auch mit Schachtelhalm 😌

start of week 6. (day 36). i am not sure how far my plant is in flower right now. she looks like week 4 now but shes in flower since march 12 (today is may 4th) i noticed she kept growing the first weeks of 12/12 but here she is now, huge and bushy but looks like a week 4 or 5 of flower here... gues ill have to flower her at least another 3 weeks from now. as u see in the video, the smallest plant doesnt have too much yield, thats because i cut of so many undergrowth (stems and leaves) during the third week of flower) this plant was already in a very bad shape before flower. how she looks now is unbelievable compare here here and watch the pics of week 5 vegetation. i flushed the system this morning untill this evening ( in the 12h dark period they run straight rainwater) and when the lights turned back on tonnight i added the nutrients at 820ppm (0.5 convertion) i hope she will now get more explosive as i had 250 grams dried but last time i grew this on soil (2 plants, this diary is on here too “critical”) these were grown under the same light in soil, finished quicker and had more yield (as of now) anyway lets see what happens the next weeks. may 8 (day 39) defoliation, not too much just big fanleaves from the top of the cannopy and underneath the net, more light reaches budsites now

New week, new growth. So we have done another defoliation to allow the lower shoots to be exposed to the lights which equal to a better yield come flower time, they always need a day or 2 recover after being put under any stress, especially if its an extreme amount of leaves being taken off. They were also lollipoped to clear up and messy under growth and to improve airflow under the canopy. I also took clones from each of these. Paying close attention to the EC and pH. Increasing and decreasing as and when I need to going off what the plants show me. Close to flower now. A few days to go! Got a decent harvest not the best looking buds I have grown but they have a nice little fruity taste and get you baked with a really nice head high dry mouth and munchies fantastic only used as personal smoke for my self and family so it works, beautiful smell to the bud too and the bud was strawberry sunset from holy smokes seeds which I got really cheap on a Xmas offer

I know the room still full, but the room looks amazing to my eyes and them testers are doing great, non or less some point these week if i find time i will defoliate all of the including the freak number 2308 hihihi She is the tallest of them all and not stooping for nothing, the little freak is over the LED bars hahahaha , still with curvy leafs indicating a N block of some kind but growing amazing ad fast , i do believe she is correcting herself now in flower lets see started her flowering feeds, curious to see were she will go and how will she react. Everything's still going great. The buds are dense. Rock hard. The smell is nice. The father had a rare floral scent, her mother was fruity. She's fruity with a bit of floral. I was hoping for an indica-leaning plant, but she seems to be slightly sativa-leaning. The fruity smell would seem to confirm that she'll be a bit on the sativa side. Just starting to fluff up. So perhaps 10 or 12 days left.

Trichomes are everywhere around this 2 purple punch. The middle plant is more frosty due to the nutrient feeding stress( bat guano powder topdressed). Most of the fan leaves have burnt off crispy but the sugar leaves are not disturbed. I will be watering plain PH water once a week to stimulate draught and humidity and temperature down. I noticed that when the plant is in stress mode during mid flowering, trichomes tend to form fast i guess it is the defence mechanism. The genetics from my local nation is top notch. The centre plant i am keeping a 2week time frame to harvest if the sugar leaves yellow soon.

Starting the scrog net, gonna let her stay in veg state till 120 days.😎

Day 55 lst done 9 more clips and branches pulled down. Plant is doing great Day 56 all is good forgot to take pics for d56 so I did video. Day 57 refilled refill tank 920ppm ph'd 6.2 plant is so green and healthy. Day 58 plant looking great still nice and green. Nothing new. Day 59 all is great. Day 60 nothing new all is great. Day 61 defoliation of plant done. plant seems to have taken defoliation very well. Looks very healthy and green.

I haven't defoliated much at all through this entire grow, so I decided to do a thorough defoliation and cleaned out the entire lower canopy. I also removed the sucker branches and adjusted the nutrients for early bloom. I'm using Recharge and florakleen to flush between nutrient changes.

Woche 5 Die Ladys wurden ein bisschen entlaubt und dann mal sehen, wie es weiter geht. Sie legen fjedenfall den größten Stretch von allen hin!

Got this seed from the the purple cookie kush v1 surprisingly she sprung up…hopefully it’s a fem but a male would be nice for some pollen. Whatever comes I’m ready.

10/05/2018 I'am thinking about 2 weeks out ?🙏 Cooler weather coming soon, buds starting to swell up i believe. #2,and #4 are the only ones to get any mold. All others are clear of any sign of mold. Number 1 seems to have more of the ghost 👻 train haze smells a!most identical to it but a little something different.Brrrr it's 41° out , now it's 39° Ps I think #1 will go 70 -78 days 10-11weeks? Potted plants will be at 63-72 days but just a guess the trich's will tell me when.👍

Coming in a day early and all is well in the tent. She grows roughly a node every two to three days. I literally watch her grow it’s crazy! I defoliated just a little bit and her smell is getting stronger, no pistils yet which means she’s gonna be huge “hopefully”. This is day 36 and I’m expecting to see some pistils by day 45. I won’t change up her nute schedule until I start seeing some pre-flowering only then I will cut back on the Gro and implement some KoolBloom alone with upping the Bloom. I’m excited to see this next week brings!

Well here we are finally out of the three week germination/seedling stage and now we’re on to week 1 of vegetation phase of Penelope’s life. Wednesday Sep 15 Day 22 W/k 4 -No water pot still heavy -First day of vegetation have celebrate with her first topping -She’s got to learn this is a harsh world -Removed janky leaves -Sink or swim -Let’s go Day 23 W/k 4 -No water -She’s grown significantly since yesterday -Topped two lower branches -Very happy with her progression -She’s adapting to her condition and responding well to training -Leaf blemishes are just battle scars -Don’t be making no bitch ass plants up in this garden Day 24 W/k 4 -No water -Not much really to say today -Just grow Day 25 W/k 4 -Same as yesterday -Grow Day 26 W/k 4 -Feeding day with aerated tap water two gallons 62.5 PPM base -Add 1 tsp Cal/mag - 319 PPM -Add 1.5 tsp Grow - 708 PPM -Final - 2 Gallon 6.2 PH - 717 PPM -Runoff 1.5 L 5.58 PH 3510 PPM -It’s been an abusive day -Getting water boarded -Getting some more topping HST -Bottom fan leaves will probably curl and get trashed -She’ll be fine -Told her I was sorry and I won’t do it again -That’s a lie haha Day 27 W/k 4 -No water -Bottom leaves curled a bit as expected after the waterboarding -She’s just loving life and exploding -Get yet knickers on for the ride -Smacked her around some more with a light defoliation and topping two branches -This is it for topping I’ve got her set up the way I want now Day 28 W/k 4 -No water -Perked up again today after more defoliation and LST -Taking to LST well -Not much more to say Was a pretty abusive week for Penelope. She’s pulled through like a champ though. So she’s all HST’d up and set up for how I want to develop her. Now it’s three weeks of veg! She’s gonna be a brute!! LET’S GO!!
