Day 35: The weeks seem to be flashing past now we have some buds to admire. Wedding Cake is storming the field in this tank and without doubt the leader of the pack. She feeds really well and shows no sign of slowing down at all. she is beginning to give of a really nice biscuit smell up close and touched and her sticky buds are certainly pushing oils out. She has a good deal of space to keep growing out and up into so heres to a 5-tier wedding cake at harvest. Black Ghost O.G is certainly a tryer and is putting some very frosty trichs and pistils out now to make up for her lack of size. I dont think it is an impressive grower but i dont doubt the hit that she will give from the building up of these trichs . Gorilla Glue#4 is being a typical GG#4 I am happy to say. she is falling under her oily buds weight on her skinny limbs and need a pinochio conversion to keep her upright so i got bits with the yo-yo's to keep her up. She smells so nice when touched but is so sticky she doesnt want to let go !. Now that her roots are not submerged entirely , her leaf colour has come back to a beautiful green again. She has a fairly decent size but I think quality over quantity will be a mantra I use for her yield. . Have a fun week until next time . keep it green and mean.

Week 8 And now we are here at flower and starting to think this might be a nice smoke she is looking healthy and starting to build your self up. Smells like a mild form of ammi but none the less ammi not long now till harvest now, ill keep you posted

Ending week 1 today! I am satisfied with how the girls are growing. Quick summary by days: note: amount of water is on ALL plants, not just 1 13/9 6.5 PH Water Misting (0,2L) 14/9 6.5 PH Water Misting (0,2L) 15/9 6.5 PH Water Misting (0,3L) 16/9 Since I didn't water my soil when I was planting the seeds, I grabbed some more soil, put it on top just to help with stretching, and then I decided to do a full watering just to get the soil wet. I grabbed my pressure pump, put in 1,5L of 6.5PH water, voodoo juice + piranha 2ml/L and watered all 9 of them with 1.5L (misting with the pressure pump - I think I will continue to do the waterings like this because it's so easy!) 17/9 6.5 PH Water Misting (0,2L) I've seen a fungus gnat, so I put up more yellow sticky traps. 18/9 6.5 PH Water Misting (0,2L) 19/9 6.5 PH Water Misting (0,2L) Caught 4 fungus gnats for now, I hope the bastards didn't lay their eggs. Keeping the vents on. Temperature this weeks was 24-27, moisture 50-70, average 60. Mimosa #2 a bit yellowish, keeping an eye on her, hope it's nothing serious. Everything else is fine, going into week 2! I still won't give them any NPK, just voodoo + piranha + b52 in week 2. Maybe i put carboload or bud candy just to feed the bacteria and the fungus in piranha and voodoo juice, any thoughts on that? I think I will introduce Micro+Grow+Bloom 0,5ml/L in the third week. Also, there are some white spots on the leaves. I think it could be chlorine? Im watering with tap water, letting it sit for around 12 hours before adjusting PH and watering. Vamos al lío, de las 3 plantas, me quede con 2 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros, que el mismo trasplante provocó un shock, que también fue solucionado inmediatamente. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Las flores empezaron a formarse y progresan a buen ritmo. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Welcome to week 8! She’s still looking great and healthy. It seems that she’s still making some height but slowly also the buds getting bigger and bigger from day to day. At end of week 8 I probably have to adjust some branches to give them more light disposal and maybe doing some light defoliation. At the mid of week 8 I can see that the buds gaining weight. More and more orange pistils are showing up and she starts to smell just a bit. At the end of week 8 she’s still doing Great! The buds getting bigger and i decided to a last defoliation to ensure better airflow and also removing some of the smaller popcorn buds to redirect energy flow. The roots already decided to grow outside the pod 😄 they’re looking snowwhite, which is a good sign. I’m still very happy with this strain and also with the performance of the growbox. Can’t wait to see how she’s producing nice, dense and thick buds

Still feeding them with Greenpower 7ml/l and i give them around 1.7L every 3 days. Yesterday i added some Great White Mycorrhiza (this stuff is killer!!) to the feeding. i will give the runtz 1 more week and flush it. 6/15. Glad I listened to my intuition and held off watering. IT Rained andctheb again last night. Plants seem to be doingvreal well. Slight burn on lower leaves where it was before from being in the garage and I found on spot that LOOKED like it could've been caused by a pillar but it's right on a burn. I sefoliated one leaf. This is minor stuff. Next watering I'll be adding silica. I'm not giving nutes until the plants tell the need them. The 3 gallon ones may receive nutes first as they'll run out. I'll update as I progress. Went back over at 8:30. It's just overcast with showers. Plants seemed to like it. They all look good. Noticed a chunk out of a leaf and a POSSIBLE pillar spot. I'm going to have to get the BT out and and give the girls an application. I'm waiting until they settle in a bit more though. I need to start LST as well AND the light dep. Unfortunately "life" has made things difficult. I'll get back over there today though and I'll start the light dep. Kinda makes me wonder though. The 1pth planet I wanted to light deo is tge same size as the others in the much bigger containers. The thought came that maybe I should just hold on to them as extras in case something happens. I also am going to start silica next watering but it will be a few weeks before any nutes are given. UPDATE: WENT BACK OVER AT FIVE AND TOOK ACSHOT TON OF PICTURES. IM TRYING TO UOLOAD NOW. My grow buddy mentioned the droopiness of a couple of my plants in this video and how I hadn't been watering. This kinda scared me so I ran over and checked the too few inches on the two that had a little droop and came out dry. I had some water already phed ready to go (I'm hoping that the ph doesn't change if it's stored a day or two) and used the gallon to moisten the dry topsoil. Looking back over my diary we have had nothing but rain. I then tried the "lift the pot method" and came to the conclusion that these bags were indeed still holding moisture. I assumed they would be considering the thunderstorms we've had. I held off on fullt watering because the weather said the next dry day is going to be Monday. Today is Friday so thats two solid days of rain. Three if you count today through the night. I concentrated my watering of the one gallon on the couple plants that appeared to droop. If it doesn't rain like they say it will I will need to water. I need to set up a decent watering schedule but I need it to hold off raining long enough to do so. UPDATE: I WENT BACK OVER AND PUT THE 3 GALS IN FOR BED AND CHECKED OUT THE REST OF THE GARDEN. I WATERED THE 3 GAL GIRLS A LITTLE MORE SINCE THEY WONT BE OUTSIDE. THE BIT OF WATER I GAVE SEEMED TO HELP LIFT SOME OF THE GIRLS. AT LEAST I THINK IT DID. THE RAIN SHOULDVE COME ALREADY. I WOULDVE WATERED MORE HAD THE BAGS NOT BEEN SO HEAVY. 6/17 Rained all night which is good. Brought the three transplants out but left them under the overhang so they. Dont get soaked. So far light depoing is going good. Well its only been two nights but we'll see. I'll update as I go. Not feeling well today. Went back over and checked on the plants and did a video. Probably won't get uploaded until tomorrow. I'm giving it a shot. It's raining in good shape. Plants looked fine when I was there. I need to get my supports and my trellis in place. Video won't upload. No suprise. I'll get it tomorrow. 6/18 Uploaded videos if they fuck up from me editing I'm gonna be pissed. Anyway it's still pouring with high winds. I added a couple supports where it looked like it needed it. I need to put my trellis up. I've been able to keep up with the light dep and those plants haven't been used and abused. They stay in the building facing the sun when the weather is this bad. I think they're looking great. I may start a new diary just for them. Sun came out around four. Trying to upload a couple videos but doesn't look like it's going to happen. Tucked the three little ones in at six. It had stopped raining and the wind died down some. If adverse conditions create good plants then I'm on the way to a great harvest. Minor bleaching and burns on a few lower fan leaves and some wrinkling on some from wind burn other than that plants seem to be acclimated. Did a video but will have to wait until tomorrow to upload 6/19 It's not raining! We got four inches this past storm lol. Having the bags raised on pollens I believe has greatly helped. As did the high winds that help dry the soil in the bag. Had to add a few temporary supports. Light dep is going good. Adjusted amd found a better spot. I'm considering getting "pool noodles" or some other thing like a Hulu hoops or pvc pipe and making either a frame on the roof for the entire cage or on top of each individual plants posts so I could roll clear plastic over it when it rains. I'm thinking about later on in the fall when this could really help. I found a roll of plastic. Also thought about putting that up on the back wall but I didn't. What I'm doing right now is working. I just need to keep up with it. I also need a solid watering schedule to stick too. It's hard when each plants needs are different. Oh well. I'm just happy to be growing again. I pray to the cannabis gods and the Lord above himself that I'm not plagued with the problems of last year. 6/20. I'm sick as fuck but I got the little girls out in the sun. Light dep is going good. Plants look great. I'll update when I feel better and if I do anything. Still feel like shit. Luckily I looked up just in time to get to the grow and put the little ones to bed. They were thirsty (especially the bushy 10th planet so I gave them about 3/4 of a gallon of water. Got lots of run off from 10th planet. Didn't notice as much from the others but I was hurrying. I'll upload later. Still sick. 6/21 Plants seem to be doing great. I removed some lower growth on a few just to see how they respond. I'm going to do some defoliation down low and I want to see how the plants respond. I'm planning my first full watering Thursday as we have a real good stretch of weather after that. Grow bags are still heavy as hell so they have sufficient water. I'll be adding silica nextcl watering. Not time for nutes but I think it would be okay to start the silica and in another week I might start small doses of nutes. The light dep on the little girls is go8ng great! It's cool I'll get to sample some of these strains before fall. I'll update after I do something. Tucked the girls in at 6. I might need to think about transplanting that 10th planet in the 3 gallon. I watered until runoff yesterday and it's light as hell today. Plus I fimked it and it's bushy as hell. I've Bern turning it si it gets all angles of the sun. I have a bag of 707 left and a 5 gallon bucket with holes drilled all over it like an air pot and a ten gallon grow bag. This will take some thought. Hot af today. I wad able to lift the grow bags so I decided tomorrow will be the girls first real watering. I think I'll be adding silica and possibly kelp me kelp you due to the heat stress I've been noticing. Nothing bad just a few tacoed leaves. I've had several people that have seen my grow in person tell me that this is by far the healthiest (not biggest I've had bigger) but by farcthe healthies5 crop I've grown. They believe I'll have my best year ever this year. I hope they are right. Vid won't be uploaded until tomorrow. 6/22 WATERED TODAY. I'm still a little gun shy with watering. That fusarium last year pretty much traumatized me. I left the container plants alone. I gave them a little water but not enough to do much. I used a pump sprayer on a mist setting and went one by one and back around gently watering the entire medium. This took forever and I'll be finding a different way to water. I hope this was enough water. I'll check later on and if they look like they want more I give it to them. I started LST on the light dep 10th planet and tucked some branches of a another under the tomato cage. I had missed that earlier. I also went around and cleaned up the bottoms on most. Getting rid of things that will amount to nothing. I noticed what looked like thrip damage on ONE leaf on ONE plant. I also saw a chunk missing from a grasshopper bite and a finger of a fan leaf petiol was broken so I'm going to need to get my ipm up and running. I'm unsure whether I'll be using chemicals or predators. Probably BT and spinosad. That's what I've had the best luck with. I also noticed bottom leaves dying off on the bottom of a couple plants. It was where the burns were though so I'm almost 100% its just related to the light burns they got when i first put them up. I'll be updating the diary as I do more stuff.

Week 7 of flower in the books and we’ve had to adjust to the height issues in an attempt to salvage what we can of the largest mains on the cheese. Really should’ve done this 2 weeks ago and while it’d be preferable not to supercrop this late in flower - there really wasn’t a choice. It was done early in the week and the plant is none the worse for wear. On the whole, the nute burn issue has been rectified and while the damage isn’t massive, it’s still really obvious. For all the above reasons, We’re really not going to get that late flower look with this plant. Kinda sad there. Otherwise, the plants have begun to colour up and were quickly coming in to the harvest window. At this rate it looks like the gorilla cookies and cherry Bomb will go off first, with the cheese to follow and the lemon haze last. The GC is absolutely covered in trichs. We expect a great finish for this one. She’s unlike any pheno I’ve seen on here - ducksfooted with a pineapple shape to her heads but again, got it where it counts. The cherry Bomb is similar but also true to her description - huge cherry diesel scent coming off this plant. She’s chunky and sticky too so very pleased she’s made something of herself. The lemon haze is developing And rounding out slower. Trich production is moderate and I suspect she’s got a week longer than the rest. We’re getting there - maybe a week to 10 days. Almost time for jazz hands👍😎. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru.
