Finally decided to get the new tent and it arrived a day after! Meanwhile the ladies moved into my closet for a day, because some top buds and leaves were already getting damaged. Refilling almost 5 L daily! Lets see how they grow with a bit more space to spread out :)

15.08 Day 22 Stretch is coming. 17.08 Mixed a new nutrient solution, optimized for flowering. Unfortunately, my tent got a bit flooded last Wednesday (13/08), so I’m still trying to find a better solution for handling the drain in such a small space. I even considered putting her into the big tent for now, just to be on the safe side.

Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?

Pretty chill week I see growth on both the girls, but the wonky looking one gots me worried. I will give them both a good shot at flowering. Who knows maybe the twisted one will have some frosty as fuck nugs. Till next week I wish everyone the best. 06/19/23

12/09/2022 - 36 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 The first week of flowering my BCN Power Plant 🌴🌴🌻 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - This week I adjust the dose of nutrients to support flowering and added nutrients - flowering stimulators: Jungle Urban A: 0.5 ml Jungle Urban B: 1.5 ml Jungle Urban M: 1 ml Flower stimulators: Jungle Environ X: 1ml Advanced Nutrients - Bud Candy 2 ml Advanced Nutrients - Bud Ignitor 1 ml Advanced Nutrients - Big Bud 2ml Hesi Root Complex - 5ml - last week of adding this nutrient Atami - ATA Calmag - when growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and Atami is an excellent brand, I give the same as in vegetation: 0.5ml. Lights: I don't change Bloom light, I still use Mars Hydro TS1000 - 150w full spectrum, great light to use both in vegetation and flowering 💡💡 Training: LST: third attachment of all twigs where flowers are formed 🌸🌸 Defoliation: the first big defoliation took place in the middle of the week, I removed the large leaves at the bottom of the plants and those that shaded the flowers 🍃🌞 The little girl has only grown by 5 cm since last week, she is already putting all her strength into flowering. The pistils at the ends of the twigs already form white tufts 😊💓 I can smell a subtle scent of herbs and flowers, but very subtle indeed. UPDATE AFTER A LONG TIME, i'll post more often. I only recovered a few videos from last couple years to share. Mango is dense, but doesn't give out much trichome as I expected. So, I took a risk and poke a hole in the stem to gave a lot of stress to the plant, so the plant gave out a lot of trichomes and the bud becomes a bit bigger.

3.9.2024: Start of week 8. Day 50 from seed, 46 from sprout. Nothing doing today, plant is healthy and getting fatter by the day. Plucked a few leaves but thats it. 3.10.2024: Day 51. Fed 1/4 strength fox farm trio mixed w/ calmag into over a gal of 6.5ph water. Gave roughly 3 liters of the solution. Runoff ppm is finally under 1000. Might increase nutes to 1/2 strength moving forward. Bud development on the main cola is almost half the main stalk now. I'm no pro when it comes to taking pictures so its hard for me to get clear, detailed shots of the nugs. 3.11.2024: Day 52, 48 from sprout. Moving along nicely. 3.12.2024: Day 53. Fed 1/4 strength, roughly 96oz at 6.4ph. I broke the feed/water/feed schedule and fed twice in a row. Also did some lite defoliation on the bottom fan leaves that weren't getting light. 3.13.2024: Day 54 from seed. Plant is doing its thing. 3.14.2024: Day 55. Fed again at 1/4 strength, 96oz at 6.6ph. Runoff ppm was 880. 3.15.2024: Day 56 from seed, 52 from sprout.

In the end, I got 43g from those plants. I'm very happy with the buds — they're big and hard like stone. The smell is absolutely amazing. The effect is a total knockout that lasted for several hours.

Day 17F-24F (Day 19) Man it’s such a shame that bbb#1 stunted out. It was so damn vigorous until it’s most recent feeding. I will make sure to cut back on teas next round as they can be a wild card sometimes. All 5 plants are packing on some serious early frost. But I’m not seeing too much chunk to the buds yet. My other grow that was flipped on the same day has almost no frost yet so that’s a good sign. (Day 21) Big strip today. I will pull off as many leaves as I need to ensure nearly all bud sites are exposed to adequate light. I’m still seeing excess N so I’m going to water in 2 gallons each until I get some runoff. The plants seem to be up taking water pretty decently so I’m going to push it a little with a heavier watering. Wow do the plants look amazing after that strip and flush! Everything is praying up beautifully, including #3 in the back. Let’s hope that gets it back on track now. (Day 22) I want to give a PK boost but all my bloom nutrients have way too much N and I don’t really want to risk it toxing anymore. I could give it a little bit of 0-18-0 bat guano and some 0-0-15 kelp extract but it could be completely unnecessary. I can’t see any signs of deficiencies but a small surplus couldn’t hurt either. (Day 23) I like how the ladies responded to the thorough watering. I will up my watering to 1 gallon every 48 hours from now on. It sucks to see how short bbb#1 is. I was expecting such a huge stretch but it never came because of that fucking tea! I should have leached the medium as soon as I saw stunting. It’s too bad because it definitely had the most potential for yield. (Day 24) I’m starting to think the main problem with bud size this round is all the topping I did early on. Not to mention they were vegging for nearly 3 months. I will try to pick off most of the larf before it wastes anymore energy. I think the ideal style of growing for bud size and veg time is a semi sea of green, or 6-8 plants per 25 square feet. I’m not a big fan of these giant plants as it’s a lot of wasted veg time and smaller bud size overall. The smell is really ramping up!

Start of week 3 I believe the girls are doing good a few minor worries but that’s at ease for now I think , i have added nutes at a low level and will increase once I see how the plants react to the introduction of the nutes .. Looking into starting lsd on some plants but not too sure wether it’s to early or so . will continue to update the week but for now Started lst on a few plants day 15 and seen good reactions by day 17 so quite happy with that and will continue this process I will also look into topping my plants as well but not just yet ... they seemed to like the nutes as well so all good week so far Soo topping done on 4 plants wasn’t as scary as it sounded haha let’s see how they recover ! Going to combine lst as well now Very good recovery it looks like and the end of week 3 looks promising with the plants happy growing

Another week is here, there are little troubles... In the middle of the week my lamp died and it took day than i bought new one... Overall everything looks good :)

Pulled her a bit earlier than I would have liked, due to pest pressure

8/26 - sporty looking great, praying hard! Posh is working on it. But look who finally showed up to the party! I’m calling her Baby spice. She sprouted 12 days after going in the soil. Way to be a fighter girl! This is going to be a tricky thing to manage I feel like my gals are tracking a week apart. I’ll keep this journal’s timeline on sporty spice. -1 week for posh and -2 weeks for baby spice. spice girls let’s grooooow! 8/30 - exactly two weeks from sprout for Sporty and Posh. Pretty wild how big a difference there is between the two. Baby is getting her footing. Now. Sporty already pushing 4-5 nodes and I saw a tiny root through the drain hole. Wanted to pot her up! About 8 cups pro mix, one cup perlite. About 1.5 tbs of Gaia green 4-4-4, some worm castings and sprinkled mycorrhiza around where the rootball would be. God speed girly! 9/3. Potted up Posh today. About a half gallon pro mix, plus about 1.5 tbsp of the Gaia green 4-4-4. Plus about a cup of worm castings, perlite, and mycorrhiza. Sporty is looking very happy, 5 nodes and counting. Added back my second light, let’s go girls!!! 9/5. Wrapping up week 2 here, so far I’ve been really impressed with the pro mix Gaia green and soil support so far. The girls seem happy and healthy. Of course I have no clue to what she is but I like it......
