due to the amount of branches I was required to add a SCROG screen. The Flores started to get fat and I get more excited every second!😍

End of Week 9 of Flower. I can just taste those buds now! The smell is intoxicating and the view is picturesque. There is definitely a noticeable difference between the two pheno's but I suspect both will pack a good punch. There has been some purpling in some of the top leaves which I expect will increase with the drop in temperature the last week or so. I cant wait to get some good pictures at the end of the week as Ive decided the chop day will be this coming Sunday. The clash of yellow, purple and green is always my favourite so I plan to capture as much as possible since the next update will be jam packed with pictures of the girls just before their chop and after 48 hours of darkness to get the last of that resin production from the plant. I will also take some pics of the hanging plants in the drying cupboard. The reason I am leaving my plants in darkness for 48 hours before they get chopped, is that it has been long belived that this practice will increase the last of the thrichome production and some say increases potency. There has been a recent study in the Netherlands which does confirm increased resin production for plants left in 48 hours of darkness (they also tested 24 hours darkness but found 48 was better) at the end of their flower cycle. The chop has been planned to be pretty straight forward where I will just be taking off the main fan leaves and leaves with no thrichomes as well as chopping off the larfy/popcorn buds which will go straight in the freezer for a fresh frozen bubble hash run. I dont bud wash my flower as my tent gets a regular clean each week and always gets a full deep clean when every harvest is over and besides, its only me and my friends that smoke it! The drying cupboard I use for drying is a small cupboard designed for storing and drying clothes which I have put a carbon filter and fan as well as a small desk fan to circulate the air as well as a small dehumidifier just incase there is an increase in humidity. So the basics of drying is that you want the area where you are drying to be dark and fairly cool (its recommended to be between 15 and 22 degrees C), have a humidity level between 45% and 55%. I aim for around 21 degrees C temperature and 50% humidity. The drying time can vary depending on strain but its recommended to dry the buds for 7 - 10 days and I will explain further about how to tell if your bud is done drying and is ready to be cured on the next post. Drying is very important as you can affect all your hard work if the conditions arent right and the bud ends up too dry (luckily these days there are ways to fix bud thats too dry) or you end up with mouldy ganja which isnt save to smoke. Its also believed that a good long dry in good conditions helps increase potency and also has been shown to reduce anxiety. Day 106. Trim jaiiiiiilllllllll !!!! First done, think it could reach my record 240. Insane quality. 4 rows of solid buds hanging .... Next one .... Both finally finished and honestly, that's my plants to be proud of !!! Day 114. All is done, no doubts its my best grow. Happy Growing !!!

Hi guys, as you can see I did two small defoliation. Today (day 34) I transplanted the plants into 7 liter pots. They come up very well.

Day 56 New Rez change, partial drain and RO fill up. 125 Liters. 200PPM, ph 5.9 First day flush. Will flush again in 3 days to get to 80ppm. Day 59 Drained res, added florakleen and RO... PPM sub 100. Day 61 Drained the reservoir, added 100L new RO water, no florakleen. Pure RO at 20 PPM. Should be the last drink they get. I was going to harvest tomorrow on day 62, but trichrome inspection is only showing about 5% amber. I wanted to try and get a little more ambers this run. (Note for next run, keep nutrients till day 63, then start flush). Seems to be slower to ripen with this phenotype, hopefully not too much longer. Will chop Monday likely, possibly Tuesday... who knows!? Also, dropped lights on to like 10.5 hours and lowered the light wattage to the minimum.

Day 21: A great week for these girls considering my nearly drowning them with a high res !!!. Aside my errors and the recovery , all been good. Wedding Cake has had an excellent stretch period giving her a really nice size to flower with. She didn't blink with the over filling as she was the top end and didn't suffer . Buds are forming up really nice on her all over and below the main canopy is just as full. She will get so.e lower small growth removed for air movement but as she is happy and vibrant I dont want to upset her now. lol The Ghost O.g did suffer a little with her main growing size but has put out some very tangible mains now. She has so.e very big fan leaves on her too. Gorilla Glue#4 had the worst of the drowning and her leaves are showing the signs of damage now. She is a good size and typically GG but I think recovery has slowed her down a little. Overall I am happy with their survival in such a hostile situation. good genetics . Be sane and safe Growmies.

25.01. F23 The stretch is now completely finished, with the plants standing at around 82 cm. Bud development is progressing well, with clear improvements in structure and density. Unfortunately, powdery mildew remains an issue. Affected leaves are removed daily to limit further spread. In addition, the plants are treated twice per week with Purolyt to keep spore pressure as low as possible.

10/18 the mite and thrip damage is getting more obvious but all in all as a plant shes looking more 10/22 sprayed with safer brand insecticidal

Giving Alien Vs Triangle a second try after my first started showing signs of herming (bananas). Planted the seed directly in soil and she sprouted in 5 days. I'm not going to do HST bending as I did with the first one. I know I accidentally went overboard with HST the first time and that most likely caused her to herm out. I want to get her to harvest as quickly as possible so just going to do some light defoliation and a FIM pinch on this girl. The first AVT smelled insanely good when I chopped her, I'm looking forward to bringing this one to a proper harvest. 👍 My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. Es ist ein massiver Gorilla geworden 😜 Ich bin beeindruckt, welche Power nochmal zum Ausdruck kommt. Auf jeden Fall zeigen sich Phenotypische unterschiede in der Gesamtstruktur. Bei dieser Pflanze färben sich die Blüten teilweise Rosa, richtig schön. Allmählich kommen wir auf die Zielgeraden. Sie zeigt eine richtig schöne Struktur und wir landen beim Ertrag sicherlich im XXL Bereich. Das Aroma hat bei dieser Pflanze einen stärkeren süsslichen und fruchtigen Touch, wobei inzwischen auch etwas herbere und beißendere Untertöne (etwas Chemisch) hinzu kamen. Der Trichomcheck zeigt allerdings, dass die Ausreifung nochmal mehr Zeit in Anspruch nimmt als vermutet. This diary may get a little unorthodox because they’re in the jungle down the centre line but will still document as much as I can and get close ups of the bud sites and buds as time goes on! Shouldn’t be too challenging but it’s a challenge lol it’s all doing great though! Better than I expected!
