Woche 8

They are starting to get more comfortable now so I turned the AutoPots on. They took right to this and watering became so much easier.

Week 8 is finally here! We changed up the nutrient feeding to the week 8 on the feed chart. I am diluting everything at a 50-40% rate to keep EC within acceptable ranges of 0.8 - 1.1 EC. I started adding Terpinator to the mix and I do notice a significant smell increase vs. without it. I am going to keep using this as I think it is a great supplement. I did figure out that even though on the bottle and on the specific feed chart, it says it is a light formula that will have minimal impact on EC and will not burn your plants at the recommended rates - it will! First time mixing up my nutrients with terpinator, I had to dilute it because the EC was too high. I put the recommended amount in my mix, and checked EC and low and behold it was high. The next feeding I did a 50% dilution rate and that seemed to be ok if you are diluting your other inputs properly to compensate. ALWAYS make sure your EC and PH are in check prior to fertigating your plants. I am watching the trichomes on a daily basis and am looking to harvest sometime this week or next. I plan to dry it in the tent it is growing in as it has AC and good airflow. Once they are done drying, they will get trimmed up, lightly vacuum sealed and stored in the freezer. Missed a watering one week , sorry for the small amount of yellow leaves but it all smells amazing :) . Hoping by adding magnesium sulphate in the feed I’ll be able to bring back some of the colour in the foliage, but other then that everything looks and smells great ;) enjoy!

Nothing to exciting this week, plants are doing well. Little bit of stretching going on and starting to smell more and more now. The newer growth is a bit lighter in shades of green then the old stuff. I think this is from me dividing the flowering nutrients into 4 weeks vs all at once as they tend to get a bit of N tox when I give it all at once so this seems to be doing better. Clones are same old, just waiting for the weather to get nice. Found out that when I use Insect Frass as a fertilizer it's also adding in chitin "a protein found in bugs, crustaceans and fungi" to the soil, when that stuff breaks down it makes chitosan and that can help boost defences against pests and virus in the plant. There are plant additives out their that are pure chitosan in varying concentrations and they use this to make the buds extra frosty. To much can harm the plant though. I also found out I needed to water them a bit more then normal not that the stretch is happening. so they got 6L this week each vs the regular 4L but it was split up in 3 days. In the first bit they got all the additives i normally do and the other bit was just PH'd water, didn't want to over load em. Grow report week 1: The seedlings Hello dear growers and growerettes, it is time for an update on my grow. My plants have successfully passed the germination phase and have become healthy and lively seedlings. They are all between 5 and 10 cm tall and have exactly the same stages of development, as far as their leaves are concerned. The seedlings I have selected seven different strains from Zamnesia and Barneys Farm, which are all supposed to be very tasty and potent. I am curious how they will differ and which ones I will like best. The strains are: Bruce Banner 3 Banana Do-Si-Dos Gorilla Zkittlez Frosty Nightmare Pink Rozay Girl Scout Cookies The seedlings have all shown their first two cotyledons and their first two true leaves. They look healthy and strong and have a nice green color. They all have a similar size and shape, which indicates a good genetics and a uniform lighting. The care I planted the seedlings in the Lightmix from BioBizz, which is ideal for the germination phase. I moistened the seedlings with a spray bottle. I watered the seedlings once with Bio-Heaven, Root-Juice and Acti-Vera from BioBizz, which are supposed to support the soil, the roots and the plants. I used these products in a very low dosage, to not overfeed or burn the seedlings. I mixed them with pH-regulated water, to achieve the optimal pH value for the soil. I grew the seedlings in a closed room without a tent, which I lined with foil. I used two LED lamps from Lumatek, which each have a power of 300 watts. I set the lamps to a height of 50 centimeters above the seedlings, to not irradiate or burn them too much. The outlook I am very satisfied with the result of the first week. My seedlings have grown well and have shown no problems or deficiencies. I am looking forward to the next two weeks, where it will already be time for the first transplanting and the ladies will be able to taste the pre-fertilized soil for the first time. I will fertilize this run only a bit late, even if I will use osmosis water this time. The soil from BioBizz is really great and can carry the first weeks well on its own. I will start fertilizing about two weeks after the transplantation into the final pots. The next weeks I will introduce you to my water filter, which works much better than the current osmosis systems, without waste water, much faster, almost 1 to 1 flow and also much better for the environment. hello, the time-lapse was good got to see the real time PK boost I let the girls go till dry i think i will keep them moist as the roots are all down to the bottom and the sides. I want the plant to drink as much as possible for the flowering stage. top dressed in worm castings last week and flower girl dry amendments along with the pk boost on the 17th it looks like it might of been a little heavy handed but nothing to serious with this so far. just water and mammoth p till the end the last blast of cal mag to free up the PK.

Hey guys . A wonderful week goes by with a super growth :-). After I topped it for the first time last week, it recovered very quickly and showed great growth. I don't think I will use topping again on the lady because I should slowly blossom with a few other women :-) think it will be ready in the next 7-14 days for Flowering 👍. This week it was poured 3 times with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). The tent was cleaned and the health of all women was checked :-). After the photos she was sprayed again with neem oil so that the last little tripse disappeared. Even if you can't see any more trips I will spray it one last time next week to make sure :-). Week 9: Flower - The First Harvest & Final Countdown! ✂️🌿 THE BIG CHOP IS DONE! Gorilla Z #1 has been harvested, and we're officially in the drying phase. Meanwhile, the remaining ladies are marching toward their own finish lines. Gorilla Z #1 - HARVESTED! 🎉 She's down! After weeks of growth, recovery from overwatering, and pushing through to the end, this girl finally got the chop. Trichome Check: Mostly cloudy/milky (peak THC production ✓) A few amber trichomes starting to show Minimal clear trichomes Harvest Timing: Honestly? I was in a rush—ran out of flower to smoke! 😅 But the trichomes were in a good window, so it worked out. Sometimes necessity makes the decision for you. Could've waited for more amber for a heavier effect, but she was ready enough. What's Next: Drying phase begins now Aiming for slow dry (60°F, 60% humidity if possible) Then comes the cure—patience will be tested again! The Relief: Finally got some homegrown coming down the pipeline. The timing couldn't be better!

2024-07-20 I'm focusing solely on the Indoor Girl in this report. The Outdoor Girl will receive a separate update once she shows more signs of flowering. This week's photos showcase the Indoor Girl's journey from start to finish, and she's been an absolute joy to grow - truly an easy-going plant. I'm fascinated by her structure, which boasts a perfect ratio of leaves to buds. Remarkably, I never had to remove a single leaf to improve light exposure. I only topped her twice to open up the canopy. She grew vigorously and effortlessly, requiring just some nutrients and top dressing to keep her happy during the transition to flowering. Her daily water intake was consistently around 1 liter minimum, with only four feedings throughout the entire growth cycle. The result is a plant crusted with trichomes - glittery and gluey, perfect for extraction. Harvesting was a breeze due to the ideal leaf-to-bud ratio. I've kept her remains and continue to water and feed her in an attempt to revegetate. Meanwhile, her outdoor sister is thriving in a hot and sunny environment. I adore her aroma profile, which features only the most pleasant terpenes. The scent is reminiscent of various citrus fruits - pink grapefruit, orange, mandarin, and tangerine - with a creamy touch that's reminiscent of a delicious dessert. There are also floral notes of lavender. I'll continue documenting the Outdoor Girl's progress here. I'm certain I'll grow this strain again, as it has proven to be stable, well-composed, superbly structured, and delicious. Well done, Seedsman!
