Hello again, Growdiaries community! 😎 We have reached the end of the vegetative stage with my Critical, and I couldn't be happier with the results. This week has been entirely focused on preparing the 'engine' for the explosive flowering phase that begins this Sunday. 📏 Evolution & Structure: The plant is now 20 cm tall. After the intensive training last week, she has spent these days consolidating those 4 main colas. The canopy is perfectly flat, and the secondary shoots are receiving direct light thanks to a final strategic cleanup. ✂️ Applied Techniques: Selective Thinning: I performed a cleanup in the center of the plant. By removing internal leaves and small shoots that were shaded, I’ve guaranteed total light penetration and better air circulation around that massive fasciated stem. LST Maintenance: Adjusted the ties to keep the structure wide. No more topping from now on—I want those 4 heads to stretch vertically! 💧 Watering & Nutrition (The Big Jump): Volume: Increased to 1 Liter of water per session. Water Temperature: Always watering with lukewarm water (approx. 21°C) to avoid thermal shock, which is vital when growing in an outdoor terrace setup. Fertilizers: Stepped up the dose to 2 ml/L of Bio-Grow. The plant is responding with a deep, healthy green and zero signs of stress. 🌤️ Bunker Environment (Terrace Setup): Temperature: Stable at 27°C with lights ON. Even though external temperatures drop to 1-2°C, my 'closet-within-a-closet' system keeps the minimums at a safe 18-19°C. Lighting: My QBK1500PLUS (150W) is running at 100% in Veg mode, kept at a 60 cm distance to encourage that final pre-flowering stretch. Aroma: A very noticeable 'fresh green' scent fills the tent every time I open it! Next Step: This Sunday is the BIG DAY. I’m switching the timer to 12/12, activating the Bloom switch (adding the Red/IR spectrum), and getting ready for the legendary Critical stretch. They have jumped again in height quite a bit this week; they are big plants to say the least. Each plant is approximately 5 ft (60inches) tall (2 are a little taller than that) and they are all about 4 ft (48inches) wide. They drink like horses do! I didn’t expect these plants to fill out their 10 gallon pots so quickly, but they are pretty well root bound. All in all these ladies are doing pretty well; this week I gave them a 70/30 mix of Gaia greens all purpose and power bloom, amongst a few other Gaia green products to boost phosphate and potassium, and continue to supplement with advanced nutrients additives once a week. I defoliated this week; and actually got quite violent with them to try to allow some more light to penetrate the canopy; you wouldn’t even know it 😑 Slowly they are changing their growth patterns; we are also loosing daylight in my hemisphere at the rate of about 2.5 minutes a day, hopefully that helps continue to ease them comfortably into flower 🌺

Welcome to Week 6! Mother Nature threw another curveball at us this week with very little sunshine and some seriously cold nights—on two occasions, the temperature even dipped below 10°C. Despite the gloomy weather, the ladies handled it quite well and continued to make steady progress. I only made some minor adjustments to the LST this week, mostly letting her do her thing. However, since the flowering stage is now in full swing, I changed up the watering routine. For the first time, I added CalMag and Bio Bloom to the tap water to give her the extra boost she needs for bud production. Appearance & Flower Development: She is still rocking those incredibly beautiful dark leaves, though I’m always bummed that the camera just doesn't capture the true depth of the color. Performance-wise, she is definitely ahead of her sister, the Purple Haze, by about a week. Her flower development is much more pronounced, and she's already pushing out a lot more pistils. Flowering is developing well. Genetics Very very greedy in fertilizer... After a written exchange with the breeder, he recommended a mineral fertilizer, and not an organic organic one. The flowering is developing very, very well, but small spots have appeared on the foliage for no apparent reason. If anyone can give me the beginnings of a solution, I'm interested.

Blueberry Muffin – Pheno A | Week 3 The Awkward Start Is Officially Behind Her Welcome back to another week of the 8×8 Adventure, where twelve cultivars are being documented individually from seed to harvest under a strict 12/12-from-seed schedule. Each phenotype receives its own diary so development can be followed independently, allowing subtle differences in structure, vigor, and expression to reveal themselves over time. This week marked one of the most significant environmental changes since the project began. The lighting intensity was increased from approximately 370 µmol/m²/s PPFD to 700 µmol/m²/s PPFD at canopy level. Rather than easing into the increase slowly, the decision was made to provide the plants with a much stronger light source and observe their response carefully. The result? They loved it. Alongside the increase in light intensity, feeding volumes and nutrient strength were also adjusted to support the accelerating growth rate. Week 3 Environment 🌡️ Temperature: 27.4°C 💧 Relative Humidity: 55% 💡 PPFD: ~700 µmol/m²/s 🌱 Medium: Plagron Lightmix ? Growing Method: 12/12 From Seed 💦 Water Consumption: ~0.9–1.2L per day Feeding Schedule Days 18 * EC 1.0 * pH 5.99–6.0 * Approximately 1L Day 21 * EC 1.3 * pH 6.0 * Approximately 1.2L As always, the objective remains simple: provide stable conditions, observe carefully, and allow each plant to express its own personality. ⸻ Blueberry Muffin Pheno A I have to admit, this one is becoming increasingly enjoyable to watch. If you’ve been following this diary since germination, you’ll remember that this phenotype showed a few odd characteristics during its earliest days. The first leaves arrived with a slightly unusual appearance and briefly raised some questions about how she would develop. Fast forward to Week 3 and those concerns feel very distant. The new growth is absolutely beautiful. Leaf structure has normalized completely, color is rich and healthy, and the overall plant has developed into a compact, vigorous young specimen with excellent symmetry throughout the canopy. One of the first things that stands out is the internodal spacing. Despite the substantial increase in PPFD, the plant continues to stack nodes tightly, creating a dense structure that suggests strong genetic vigor and efficient use of the available light. Rather than stretching upward, she is focusing her energy on building a solid framework. Looking closely at the canopy, the branching is already beginning to establish itself naturally. Side shoots are emerging confidently and there is a clear sense that this plant is preparing for the next stage of development rather than simply adding height. At this point she is already pushing into the seventh to eighth node range, which is impressive considering the timeline and the 12/12-from-seed approach being used throughout the project. The foliage itself is another highlight. Large, healthy fan leaves radiate outward from the center of the plant, creating a broad solar panel that is capturing every available photon. Color remains a lush, vibrant green from top to bottom, with no signs of stress despite the environmental changes introduced this week. The newest growth is particularly exciting. The central growth tip is expanding rapidly and showing the kind of vigor that makes a grower eager to check on the plant every day. There is a feeling that this phenotype is only beginning to reveal what it has planned. For now, she sits comfortably among the stronger performers in the room, combining healthy structure, excellent color, strong branching, and compact growth habits into a very promising package. Most importantly, she simply looks happy. And happy plants tend to tell the best stories. ⸻ Looking Ahead The coming week should be very revealing. With the root zone continuing to expand, nutrient levels increased, and lighting now operating at a much higher intensity, the pace of development is expected to accelerate noticeably. This stran smells incredible! They're all fading fast and putting on a beautiful color show. These buds are rock hard and completely covered with frost (reminds me a lot of Purple Ghost Candy by Seedsman).. 2 plants look just about done but the other maybe a week behind. We'll probably start harvesting the first few from this tent in a week 🌱

Pruning, defoliation and only water for the taste

I hope i do good for my first grow with an 20euro setups. , gived less plant feed due yellow leave tips. First trichromes start to apear.

C est la fin pour la strawberry gorilla, elle a quelques trichromes ambrés. Elle sera récoltée demain à D86. Elle est petite mais les têtes ont l air très lourde et elle sent tes fort ! Il reste environ une semaine pour l orange sherbet. Elle a l air délicieuse avec des têtes très denses également. C est celle que j ai le plus hâte de goûter. Il reste un peu plus d une semaine pour la gorilla cookies, Elle est énorme avec de grosses têtes !

🗓️ Week 7 complete – 3rd week of flowering This week I had to slightly adjust the feeding schedule – I was running at ~75%, but Seriotica started showing light tip burn. Dialing it back a bit now to stay on the safe side 🌱 All three plants were lollipopped, so energy now goes straight into the top sites. The stretch seems to be wrapping up – and the final height says it all: 📏 Final height after stretch – Seriotica: 77 cm The tent’s definitely reaching its limits – lights are at max height, and there’s not much headroom left 😅

No issues with this plant, awesome buds with awesome scent and flavor! Super easy to manage during growth. I'd definitely recommend this strain.

Hello Everyone, I didn't felt like updating last week, sorry for that. It was like 25 to 30 degrees celcius for the last time this summer. I enjoyed the beach, bars and restaurants. The plants had a good sunny week as well. Photos for this week are made at the end of week 5 of flowering. 3 of 6 plants are ready for harvest. Somehow it didn't suprised me, the plants stayed small and developed fast. I was thinking about a flowering time of 7 to 8 weeks but those 3 only needed 5. Why? Well they didn't drink that fast anymore, pots stayed heavy for a long time, all the Pistils on the buds started to get brown and the thc was looking milky and the buds are full with it. Gues i will keep flowering the other 3 for 1 or 2 weeks. Lets see how it goes. I did run out of PK 13-14 last week and Green sensation at the end of this week, So a kind of good timing. I will just increase the base nutrients a little bit to compensate it. I know many growers just growing with base nutes and get good harvests as well lol. As long as the 3 remaining plants like to drink their feedings fast and the Pistils stay white, I will keep giving them nutes for another 1-2 weeks. When they start to struggle I will start flushing. Hi guys I’ve finally chopped the girls . I was super surprised what the small girl actually produced . After a trim she weighed 206g wet with stalks . Considering she struggled from the start and in normal circumstances would have been binned very happy with her . The big girl . Just wow 🤩 😎 💣. She’s been chopped too and is now drying in a 1m square tent hanging from the net . I never weighed her wet as it would have been impossible without cutting up the nugs off stems etc as was too big . I’ve just input a wet weigh above for sake of the harvest . Once they are both dried I will take their weight have a taste and update that and add some final photos . Massive thanks to Green House Seeds/feeds and the rest of you that have been here on the journey with me . Final update . I’ve updated the diary she’s fruity , sweet and woody in taste . Very uplifting effects . The big girl came in at 185.17g dried and trimmed . Smaller girl weighed 30g dried and trimmed , still happy with that considering . A total of 215.17g of dried smoke ready to go but some impressive nugs . Awesome 😎 👏🏻.
