Getting close harvest!! The fan leaves 🍃 started releasing nitrogen and buds are starting to ripe I have have decreased amount of nutrients since she’s getting closer to harvest I’ll be watering her with water to remove any excess nutrients buildup from the bottom and to allow her to take the rest of nutrients left till her times comes.. I also did not add plant Height because I had done LST on her so I will be hard to know exact Height on mine

This week all the plants started to take off in flower. Buds swelling up by the day. Stopped feeding flower burst and added Pk9-18 and advanced meta boost to aid with flowering. Smell has started to increase but not to potent as of yet. EC also increased to 1.6 for increased demand in flower. Also stopped spraying IPM this week as it don't want it to effect the bud smell or taste come harvest.

We are up to speed now things should be on track now..gave dem girls some more room and set dem in their final resting

Interesting to see how different the phenotypes of the same strain can look. Pretty much doing the same as always. Quite a lot of light. Some height issues. but whatever. Will likely take 2-3 more weeks due to the slow flower development early.

Well she is the star of the tent. Her purple colour is amazing, her sickly sweet smell is amazing. She has not given me any problems at all during this grow. Maybe a week left and I cant wait.

Cracked a few stems, twisting them 2, 3 points in the main stem and once on each lateral stem, very early monstercropping, cracked the stem without rupturing xylem or phloem channels, minimal recovery, maximum stress and response. There is a new need for significant reinforcement. I know this knuckle will eventually require the throughput of a superhighway. No point in dilly-dallying. Growth grinds to a halt, at least it feels like that. Energy is now distributed fairly evenly to each stem at equal heights and equal light intensity. Growth is not slower; there is just far, far more to do all at once in equal measure, start raising her soil EC up to 1.0mS/cm and maintaining. Upped to 40DLI for now. Temps back in the daytime 87+ range. NPK Raw Grow to keep the soil water solution at 1.0ms/cm, thereabouts. Enzymes and amino acids are applied foliarly to the underside of leaves each night 🌙. Aim to coat the undersides of the leaves where the majority of the stomata are located. Use a spray with smaller droplets to increase the surface area of the leaves that are covered. Adding a surfactant to the mix can help the spray spread better on the leaf surface, improving absorption. Just remember not to add anything immobile.. Heat denatures enzymes. "blah blah what's the point? It's hardly going to do much." Plants have a surprisingly low photosynthetic efficiency, typically converting only 1% to 2% of the total solar energy that hits them into chemical energy. (Too much defoliation and high VPD all night). In fully optimized conditions, that rises to 6%-8% efficiency. Sounds like it's worthwhile to me. The longer you have waited, the harder you must swing.

one of the plants is flowering and the buds on it look nice so far but like said last week, it also has some seeds/pollen sacs, so I'm hoping there'll still be some buds on it by harvest, the other two haven't started flowering much yet, I've only taken videos because I don't have a light and I couldn't see what I was taking a photo of

Outdoor coco 15g pots Progress: Lava cake is about week 6.5. Starting to ripen and get heavy. Buds are getting fat. Strong sweet cookie/ ice cream smell. Buds are getting more frosty. Buds are getting so heavy I installed a net on 3 of 4 and doing #4 soon. On my most mature plant - About 25-30% of pistils have turned color. Some trichomes are milky, none amber. Looks like plants are a few days apart. Marathon OG week 5 1/2. Still stacking and getting fat. Smells dank. Trichomes are showing up. The 20 gallon OG is growing into a monster. I’m still waiting for the heavy bud stacks…. Nutes: Bumping up ppm, the dry koolbloom and molasses, stopping regular koolbloom and grow. Looking to starting flushing the lava cake in a week or so. Feeding 2x a day; 3x on hot days. Weather: Had a good week of cooler temps until yesterday, when it was 97. Looking at hugs in the 80s this week, perfect. Pests: The moths and caterpillars are in full swing so I’m applying BT every morning. I’m working hard to reduce caterpillar 🐛 losses. We lost all of the top colas on a plant in another location 💔 . I’m only losing one bud at a time and not the entire colas so far. Wishing fat buds and monster harvests to all.

Started with LST and did extreme defoliation. Plants were pretty healthy so they will recover soon.

Week 1 of veg. In the books and we have a stable of very healthy and incredibly vigorous plants on the grow here. Even the runty one (there’s always one) has shown some signs of strong growth and we may not end up culling her from the mix at all. Over the last couple days, growth has exploded with no signs of slowing down - even after their transplant to the bigger pots👍. They’re doing everything they’re supposed to and showing that F1 vigour at every step. So far, so good and we really couldn’t ask for a better start to this run. We incorporated a very mild solution of our primary nute this week - Druid Berkana. This stuff is a one part system designed for the whole cycle and its proven to be one of the best all-around nute brands we’ve tried to date. Some light foliar spraying with liquid karma continues to mid week and then they’re all on their own👌. Expecting big things from this run and if we get lucky with continued robust growth - might be able to take clones after the third week of veg and flip🤞🤞🤞. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. 12/15: Some plants are taking too long to transition and stretching beyond my space constraints, so I dialed the photoperiod back to 12/12. 12/16: Fed today and rotated edge plants. Added another 150w of 3000k below the canopy. 12/17: Worked on ventilation...no A/C necessary now, as I'm using another AC Infinity 6" fan to intake outdoor air into the closet whenever temps reach 75f..and it's been cold as hell outside.👍 The final trick will be to replace the 6" exhaust fan with an 8" so as to be able to fully exchange the closet air faster ...but that's gonna have to wait til next season.
