September 2, Day 43. I removed the trellis because it was annoying and I realized the spaces were too large and that's why it felt clumsy... Kabob sticks are doing the trick so far. As I was clipping some leaves to prepare for flowering, I noticed roots growing through the bottom of the pot. I hate transplanting plants so I sat the current pot in another pot that was filled 30% with additional coco coir that had been prebuffered with seedlings strength nutrients to avoid shock. I am confident the roots will continue their journey through the first pot and into the additional space below. Now to observe for a few days, aiming to switch to flowering next week. I have removed at least 30 leaves throughout the last week and she is still looking so bushy and healthy... Thanks Recharge. I ordered Big Bud by Advanced Nutrients and I look forward to using it during flowering. SUPER MEGA HAPPY UPDATE Day 44, September 3. I clipped a branch and planted it in a prebuffered with seedling strength nutrients rockwool pellet... I baptized her Kaboom Baby.... And. She. Survived!!! Ahhhhh!!! So freaking happy! I am going to start a second grow under this diary called Kaboom Baby, La Reinita Africana. Update, Day 46, September 5, 11am. Fed and watered with all nutrients except Recharge. Finally harvest time arrived 🤗 It’s been a great run, though I had to improve a lot along the way. But as usual there was a way to get things done and finished up😎 After a long heatwave I decided to chop the whole tent, just a bit before I actually wanted to. But I see amber trichomes and heavy buds, so I think it’s safe to chop now, so here we go. 🤩 Can’t wait to taste this after so long watching over it🤤 More details to come.

Overall happy with this solo cup grow, wish I could have got a little more but I ended with 6.3 grams dry weight, bud looks amazing. Post more of a update after I smoke it in a few days! Thanks for following & happy growing friends!

week 5 when the thrips first showed themselves. I noticed them cuz some silver stains started appearing on some leaves. you can see them better under LED light. So, I sprayed Neem Oil all over the plant. I could notice that if you don't do it well, spraying and rubbing the leaves with a piece of cloth, the oil will also create some stains. 2nd topping. killed some thrips this week, they're cute and didn't seem to harm the plant seriously. Neem oil worked fine to control them. No other pests that I could notice + Defoliation + LST Flowermind (4ml + 0.5g)

Day 63. She is going down, my fastest ever big healthy plant. Looking at first waves 3 numbers, I think it's not even 2 ounces plant, it's f@cking THREE !!! ;)))))))))))) Day 71. One to jars another for trim jail. Busy day ... Day 72. After small delay, she went down ;) Day 82. Straight to vacuum sacs, but she was really great ! Happy Growing !!!

Day 78: I checked the trichomes today and I'm pretty sure I saw cloudy ones. Hard to say even with the microscope, but I decided to wait at least until tomorrow before flushing. So I fed them today with the same solution as the previous week. Day 79: I saw more than one cloudy trichomes this morning so the final flush was given. This should, SHOULD, now be a smooth ride until the end. The buds are stacked, packed with trichomes and... damn that smell! Day 80: Nothing to read Day 81: Nothing to read Day 82: First watering since the flush with tap water, nothing else to read. Day 83: Nothing to read Day 84: I don't think they'll all be ready at the same time. I think they'll go in clockwise order starting with the bottom left one.

Very healthy plant. No signs of deficieny.

End of week 8 for medusa 1/5. Plant is looking beautiful with the LST. I will reduce thd nutrients week by week from now, ensuring for a clean finish without flushing. I still feel the veg time for these genetics are too short for big yields. I reckon it will yield around 60 grams. 2/5 was topped and will yield more by the looks of the amount of shoots compared to 1/5. Check my other diaries for the entire experiment. Watering 3L every 2/3 days Smell is very strong now. It will probably be ready in 3 weeks time

I thought i was going too hard so I brought PPM down to 246 diluted with some rain water PH to 5.8. Leaves were coming out weird not sure if it was from the fimming i did or idk...But i did go ahead and topped her on all sites that i could top and gave her a haircut to expose those sites that were lacking exposure to light from the fan leaves blocking direct contact from the lights. Tied her down to maximize all angles of light exposure. She is pretty tough from all the shit i been putting her through to not fuck up this DWC

Going really well really happy with how the ladies have grown and how they are developing I seem to be getting taller plants back side of the tent I can only put this down to changing light to more powerful one but they all seem to be happy and doing great
