Just chopped last night. About 8oz wet weight. Did a good amount of wet trimming, will do a final manicure once it is dried. This grow has been an absolute blast - the girls were good to me and didn't give me much trouble. I am a man of variety, so I always try new things - so not sure if i will grow it again but if I had to, I wouldn't be mad at all :) Smoked some scissor hash it is sure was tasty! and strong - got me feeling reallllllly nice. Will update in a week or so when it is dried to report on the dry weight. And then some time after that I will report on the smoke once it cures :) UPDATE POST HAND DRY: The plants hung for 6 days, and have now moved into the jars. Dry weight of exactly 2oz. 51g buds, 5g trim. I had no idea that cannabis loses its smell a bit as it dries - so i got super worried at first, only to realize this is normal and the beautiful smell returned shortly. Will continue to update after curing for a taste/effect review. UPDATE ~ 1.5 Weeks into cure: Looking back it think I did too much dry trimming. It had been cold at that time, and I was paranoid about mold. It dried quite quickly, and I might have been out a day too long. I was aiming to get them in jars and have it sit at about 60-65% humidity - but when they went into the jars it never went higher than 54% and kind of settled down at 48%. But the buds aren't crispy by any means, so maybe my humidity meter was off. They do seem a little too dry though - and the buds are definitely quite airy. My grow light is pretty small, so I'm not expecting super dense buds. From what I've read, I'm worried they might have over-dried past the point of "curing"? Or maybe I'm reading too much into this, idk. This is all a learning process and I'm enjoying it regardless. It was my first grow so I definitely have room for improvement within my current setup. I couldn't wait to try it so I've been sampling throughout the curing process. The flavor and scent profiles are definitely changing, and for the better - but it doesn't have that same "dank" smell it had when she was a living plant. Not sure if that's normal, but probably just didn't have the best drying process. Obviously this early, I'm not expecting amazing taste and smell, so let's see how some more time does. I will say it gets me stoned, for sure haha. It's got a nice dark green, purple color too it with a decent amount of thichomes visible. Honestly, the smaller plant (#1) that I stunted early on has a better scent/taste already, versus #2 that looked so good. Not saying #2 is a bust at all either. It has this earthy, almost cheesy flavor profile. Interesting. Back to the effect - it worked to the point where I feel laser-focused writing this update haha. It definitely has a hybrid effect, with a nice euphoric uplift, while helping me relax and ease tension. I'll try to keep updating this as it cures!

Update 14/11 - plant has now dried for a week. Will wait for branches to snap and start jarring After 2 days of darkness. Plant was wet trimmed loosely and chopped as a whole. Currently hung up to dry for the next 7 ish days. Nice looking colas this time around :)

So grow diaries is acting up really bad. It won't let me finish putting in nutrition. Hopefully it get fixed soon. So when Pablo Escobar sprouted, she pushed herself out of the rockwool. She is rooting lower down. Plus I didn't have the light turned up enough. So she stretched a lot, and got top heavy. So if she makes it, this will be a interesting grow against a few odds. Things are going, I dunno about good, but there is a chance. After going back and forth about the harvest, I decided to give her another week. It feels like the right balance between playing it safe and giving the plant the chance to fully express herself. The flowers keep maturing, the trichomes continue to develop and the terpene profile becomes more intense. The buds are getting heavy enough that several branches are now resting on the net for support. Without it, they would probably start collapsing under their own weight. The finish line is close now. Time to stay patient and let nature do the rest.

There are some smokable buds but most of these are for seeds…I will wait the seeds to finish mature then consider the smokable buds…so far so good

Nothing much to report. Its growing nicely. Tricombs are already showing...and loads of them! Tomorrow is watering day, going to up the feed a little but use fizzy water instead of plane. I only take leaves away that are blocking bud sites... only 2/3 per 7-8 days.

Week 5 Day 7 Flowering Stage.. All plants getting big but got into some stress because one of my AC went off so temperature was a bit high and humidity was also high. But looking nice😊🔥

Always good seeds from RoyalQueen Seeds.. The pineapple kush was clones. Unfortunately something happened and it didnt got finished. Other than that, some different strains i have beeen growing over the years :)0

In my opinion it's last week for Girl Scout Cookies Auto and for Power Plant Auto tilll harvest, how do you think?? Vanilla Latte Auto is on it's 3rd week of flowering period and is very strong and beautifull plant

Finally got the time to sit down to do some maintenance and training on this girl🙌 It was a wet and rainy Sunday on 7/25 so we pushed back our Farmers Market a day and I got to get soaked in the garden😅 Cleaned up the interior, removing discolored fan leaves that weren't getting enough light and small branches growing inward that wouldn't amount to much. Then I did some LST with 4' Bamboo stakes and PGarden EZ Soft Plant Ties. I staked 4 main branches to open up the interior for better light penetration and air circulation👍 When it was all said and done I brought the trim back down to the barn as a treat for my horse Kestrel, he loves snacking on trim leaves! I also switched the the Neptune's Harvest Rose and Flowering as we're approaching flowering time and also gave them some good old fashioned Crosby's Molasses to get those sugars going!

Well everything went smoothly this week still feeding same schedule I have notice the leaves are fading a good amount but it’s pretty late flower so nothing to worry about, I did check trichomes at day 70 and they seem to be about half cloudy half clear, no Amber in sight yet but hopefully next week they start ambering up I’m thinking maybe 85 days or longer for this one

GP #1 required another week of heavy defoliation. Light defoliation on GP#2. Shes sticky to the touch and starting to show orange hairs. Smell is starting to really come out in the room even before I open the tent. GP#1 is at 43 inches and GP#2 is at 40 and a half. I added a video where she knuckled up after being supercropped a couple of weeks ago. I thought I needed to brace her to handle the bud weight but she’s going to be just fine. Til next week!

Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... Es haben sich viele Seitentriebe und Blüten entwickelt, sie sind schon mit Braunen Härchen übersät die Blüten sind fest, der Geruch ist noch schwach und lässt sich nicht richtig definieren. Die Trichome sind schon sehr schön Reif. Werde sie diese Woche ernten und sie dann noch aufhängen. 👌😜
