At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Really love the smell, one plant yielded about 5oz the other about 3. As far as I can tell the herb from either is as good. Yeah an award winner for sure. Wow what a taste✌️🏻🤤✌️🏻 Update. 2 plants grown, 1 was better but both very good. From the better plant, 5 people to date who I have let sample excellent quality dried and cured buds of Zombie Kush have all reported to me that it’s the best herb they’ve ever tried😉😂😍😍😍😍😍😍 I was smoking it outside a Wailers concert this week also and about 3 people there couldn’t help but compliment on the smell. This stuff really is top quality and I could truly smoke it 24/7

Nur paar Blätter entfernt und komplett auf Drypart Bloom umgestellt. Zudem noch Pro Bloom und X-Cel dazu gegeben. Ich entlaube erst richtig wenn der Flower Stretch vorbei ist um die Pflanze nicht zu stören. So in 14 Tagen circa.. PH 5.8, EC über 2.2 PH bleibt stabil da ordentlich Nährstoffe vorhanden sind. ppfd so 620 bei 20h Licht = 44 DLI. Breite 80 und 65 cm, sollte was werden zum Schluss..

Good week loads of growth, its getting as tall as I can handle so hopefully not too much more height. I have started the bloom nutes and stopped feeding grow but ill keep the root stim for a week or 2 more. I've been taking leaves gradually as they block out light but trying to keep plenty. It's drinking loads and looks nice an healthy flowers are coming in nicely can't wait to see some frost and the buds start to fatten. Happy smoking 🚬

Hey everyone! Another week down for the Mental Rainbows, and the two that have always shown that extra gear have absolutely exploded in terms of height and volume. What excites me most is that their stems have thickened up proportionally. They look invincible and ready to produce some seriously impressive colas. The other two, the ones that struggled from the very beginning, simply haven't kept pace. They're in good health overall, no complaints there, but they haven't grown like their sisters and inside the box they're clearly the underdogs. It is what it is. On the feeding side, EC has been nudged up by 0.1 as runoff was consistently reading below input values. On the environmental front, VPD is still something I'm actively managing as humidity keeps climbing beyond what the dehumidifier can handle alone. If it stays above 65% heading into the final weeks, a second unit will be joining the setup to protect bud quality and density at harvest. First pistils have started showing up, so bud formation is officially underway and Big Bud is now part of the stack to support it. Can't wait to update you all next week. Week 3 :)

27/02: the plants that looked wilted in the previous week have come back to life as they are being fed 1 litre of water now - it was an underwatering issue. all plants including the ones that were lagging behind have exploded with their stigmas and there are plenty of bud sites throughout. humidity is still a bit of an issue though I am installing an industrial sized dehumidifier into the grow tent as of next week. again there is some over crowding though I do not want to stress the plants by taking too many leaves at this stage. will give it at least another week before another trim. plants are on average around 30 inches high. reacting well to the nutes and all is going well.

Solitamente uso questa tecnica perché trattandosi di una varietà autofiorente è meno stressante per la pianta e abbinata ad una “regolare” defogliazione permette di ottenere dei risultati interessanti in termini di raccolto. Oltre a questo, la parola d’ordine di questa settimana (fortunatamente conclusa) è solo una: FREDDO! infatti, dopo un inizio settimana di temperature piuttosto miti, la temperature sono diventate più fredde. Ah…che sia chiaro, quando dico "freddo" mi riferisco a temperature più basse dei valori ottimali che comunque che rendono più stentato lo sviluppo e la crescita della mia piccola bimba (dovrei cercare un nome da darle😅). Nel complesso però la mia piccolina boxeuse si difende alla grande!🥊 01/05/2022. 1l d’acqua: Ph: 7.0 Ppm: 397 T: 24º Altezza:7,5 cm T Max: 29º T Min: 18º Hum Max: 87% Hum min: 46% Sembra in buona salute, ha un colore verde vivo ma la crescita sembra un po’ lenta. Ancora niente prodotti. 01/08/2022. 1l di soluzione nutritiva: Ph: 6.20 T: 21,6º Ppm: 679 Temp. Max (lampada accesa): 27,4° Temp. Min (lampada spenta): 18,1° Hum. Max: 71% Hum. Min:49% Oggi si iniziano a dare un po’ di nutrienti, io utilizzo la linea dell’advanced nutrients ph perfect Grow/Micro/Bloom come Base (1ml x 1L di acqua demineralizzata per ciascun prodotto) più B-52 e Voodoo Juice (2ml x 1L d’acqua demineralizzata). La piccola non presenta problemi, ha un’altezza di 10 cm e sta sviluppando il 3° internodo, se continua così tra qualche giorno si inizia con LST. 01/10/2022. Oh oh…😲 le foglie più giovani mostrano una leggera clorosi ai bordi con venature leggermente più scure, potrebbe essere dovuto a un Ph sbilanciato oppure a una carenza di calcio e magnesio. Forse conviene darle una leggera fertilizzazione tramite spray fogliare. 01/11/2022. Bene, la clorosi fogliare 🍁 perdura quindi proviamo a risolvere il problema con uno spray fogliare : Advanced Nutrients Sensi Cal Mag Xtra: 2ml x 1L d’acqua. Una bella spruzzata generale sia sulla pagina superiore delle foglie che sulla pagina inferiore in modo da permettere agli stomi di assimilare la soluzione. Iniziato LST piegando la cima apicale fino a farle quasi toccare il bordo del vaso.

She started out as the most vigorous grower, but may have been too quick for her own good. She began having deficiencies early on which were easy to address, but they came back intermittently. Ultimately she didn’t thicken up quite as much as I would have liked, but the trichome coverage is much higher than the Sour Kush.
