I done a lot of work on the room, invested a lot and tried to make everything as automated as possible. Everything runs on smart plugs, the hydroponic system is DIY and is RDWC which is cooled with a Hailea 150a. 6 plants is what I am going for this time, with a shorter veg length compared to the last grow. I prefer to wait until they show their sex, but if they don’t by week 5, I plan on flipping anyway all being well. I am using 730nm LED’s that come on 15 mins before lights on, turn off during lights on, and then they come back on when lights go out, and stay on for 15 mins. This should enable me to run 13/11 during flower with little risk. I am also going to add a UVB fixture to my custom rig which will only be used during the final 2 weeks of flower. I have 3 Alibaba lights attached to a custom rig, they really are awesome lights. I tested the room out with an Apogee SQ-520 par meter (PAR map in pics). I have dimmed them down, so PAR is around 500 across the whole canopy, this will be increased to 1000 once they’re flipped. I vent from my house, to the room and then outside, this increases the CO2 in the room, which I think helped the yields on the last grow, generally CO2 hovers between 470 and 700 PPM. My ladies look a little sick, but tbh, I struggle starting out in Rockwool, and things usually correct themselves within a couple weeks. With the quarantine I have struggled to pick up a humidifier that is capable of maintaining that room, so it has been all over the place since the start. In the first week after transitioning to a 12/12 light cycle, I removed all restraints and supports to observe its growth, comparing it with the Permanent Marker strain. The plant looks vibrant green and has already displayed female signs 🌿. Exciting progress ahead! 😊

End of week 7. She’s slowing down on drinking and leaves and starting to fall. She may have 2 more waters in her before we dry her back and cut her down. Sweet gas and the nose. She’s more greasy now than sticky. Buds didn’t swell too much but we’ll see how she finishes

Today, day 23 was the last repotting. Girls went from 11.6L to a 20L pot. Now there in the right place. In fact, just 3/4 have beene repotting because I didn't have enough Lightmix :/ My order is late, and I'm not really happy with that 😡 I planned to top the girls on wednesday or thursday. It will depends on how they will recover. Actually, it's my first time with smartpots. If smartpots have a lot of advantages, repotting is not one of them ! I made a mistake : the plants were 60% dry, and abviously, it was not a good idea ! It should be clearly moist. Nextime I think I will water the girls 1 hour before repotting. I hope it will be ok and they will recover from this tough moment.... Will see in a few days 😰😨 Anyway, I have generously watered them right after repotting with no nutrient. Juste clear water with the right Ph. As they are in some brand new light-mix medium, I thought they have enough nutrient for a at least 2 or 3 days. D-25 : Everything is ok. Girls seems to have recover very well :) Anyway, I'll wait at least one more day before topping. The last Chocolate Haze (the one that was 5 days late), doesn't have 6 nodes yet and I would prefer to top each girls at the same time. D-26 : Repotting the last one and topping everybody. Fingers crossed for the next couple of days... I also feed the girls right after the top. During the topping process, the plants were reduced from 19cm to 12cm.

10/6: She's doubling in size every day now, so.. me thinks she'll be a real specimen. 10/7: She continues to impress! I installed my new AC Infinity 6" fan in the attic and hooked up a 16" carbon filter today. I used some sound deadening foam on the rafter that I mounted it to and removed 100% of the vibration. I haven't programmed the thermo/hygro stuff yet, but tested it on high and I can't hear a thing anywhere in the structure.👍 I'm also purchasing a dual 120mm fan system from AC Infinity in the door, behind the grille I already installed to serve as fresh air intake. It also has a thermostat feature that will allow me to set it to only come on when the temps are too high, so I'm optimistic that it will allow me to manage the temperatures in this closet with about 1000w running for 18-20 hours a day.🙏 I moved the 200w 3500k+660nm to the top section today and lowered my QB frame to 32" above the plants. I have two pairs of them running now(480w), and received the replacement HLG 240-48A driver today for the third pair. I'll hook it up later..dont need it now.. 10/8: I fed her today for the first time...about 16 oz of solution containing grow big, big bloom, kelp me kelp you, boomerang, and armor si. I hooked up the 3rd pair of qb's today....wow that's bright....she's gonna love it!😎 10/9: She experienced her first night time today...4 hours, from midnight to 4am..at approx 72f and 50% RH. 10/10: I sprayed her with Axiom today and gave her a few ounces of spring water. 10/11: I sprayed her with Boom Boom spray right before dark and also started brewing some compost tea today. 10/12: I just gave her a little spring water today because she's getting douched with compost tea tomorrow. I wish I had some additional blue light to dose her with to get her branching better, but she's doing okay I guess. Since I've overplanted the space, I'm not gonna have much elbow room for her anyway.
