🌸 Week 11 – Gorilla Cookies Auto Pheno Hunt Another week is in the books, and now all the phenos have officially entered the bulking phase. 🔥🌸 The flowers are swelling rapidly, and it's amazing to see how differently each phenotype is stacking and filling out. Every week brings more weight, stronger aromas, and denser buds. 📈 Current observations: All phenos are now focusing entirely on bulking up their flowers. Pheno #1 and #2 are producing massive buds, with some already reaching the size of soft drink cans. 🥤🔥 Pheno #6 has made incredible progress over the last two weeks. Although it had the slowest start, it has developed beautifully and is building flowers surprisingly well. It will most likely need around two extra weeks after the others and will probably finish the grow on its own. Pheno #3 unfortunately never fully recovered after I had to remove several main colas because they were growing into the SANlight fixture. While it's still producing nice flowers, it clearly lost some of its potential. Pheno #4 continues to be my personal favorite. The aroma is absolutely incredible, with a sweet Kush profile, and the buds are becoming rock hard already. 💎 📊 Current environment: Temperature: 31°C Relative Humidity: 63% VPD: ~1.66 kPa SANlight fixture at maximum height Light intensity: 90% ⏳ Looking ahead: If everything continues as expected, I think the first phenos will be ready for harvest in about two weeks. The final stage is always my favorite—watching the buds swell even more, the trichomes mature, and the terpene profiles reach their peak. Strawberry AKeil (Serious Seeds) Tag 103 / Blühtag 68 Fast am Ziel 43 cm reif für die Ernte! 🍓🔥 Nach 68 langen Blühetagen steht meine Strawberry AKeil jetzt bei nur 43 cm Höhe kompakt, aber extrem dicht bestückt. Die letzten Tage haben sich die Buds nochmal richtig verdichtet und kaum noch neue Blütenkelche (Calyxe) gebildet. Sie ist klar in der Reifephase angekommen! Heute habe ich nochmal einen genauen Trichome-Check gemacht: 30 % B / 60 % M / 10 % K Genau der sweet spot, auf den ich gewartet habe. Die Köpfchen glänzen fett und harzig, besonders in der Nahansicht sieht man die fantastische Trichomendecke. Dazu diese wunderschöne lila-rote Färbung an den Blütenblättern einfach eine Augenweide! Wie bei den anderen Pflanzen im Zelt lief auch hier der letzte Abschnitt sehr clean: - Über 1,5 Wochen nur klares Wasser - Zu Beginn der 10. Blütewoche nochmal einen leichten Boost mit Top-Max, Acti Vera, Alg-A-Mic und CalMag Der Stickstoff ist inzwischen sehr gut abgebaut, wie man auf den Fotos deutlich an den vielen hellgelben bis goldenen Blättern sieht. Ich habe heute nochmal gezielt die welkesten und unteren Blätter entfernt, um Schimmelrisiko zu minimieren und den Buds noch Licht und Luft zu gönnen. In den nächsten 3 Tagen(länger wirds nicht laufen) darf sie nochmal richtig Sonne tanken, dann verlässt sie als Erste das Zelt. Ich bin extrem gespannt auf den Trockengeruch und das finale Aroma bisher war sie schon im Zelt eine der stärksten Terpene Bomben mit diesem fruchtig-erdbeerigen Profil. Zusammenfassung: Eine sehr kompakte, harzige und aromatische Strawberry AKeil, die trotz etwas kleinerer Statur richtig dicke Buds produziert hat. July 3: Great week for new growth and plants are starting to send out first flowers. Big stretch on height. About another inch of rain (2.5 cm) this week and soil has plenty of moisture. Today saw some amazing clear sky and strong sun. Expecting the flowers to start stacking. Still need to mulch around the plants. First resin is skunky with a bit of burned rubber (?) - unusual yet appealing. Great structure and impressive vigor.

Been doing a lot of tweaking with the new gear and multiple sets of plants. Been quite a busy week and probably behind a bit on keeping track of everything. I'm currently working on trying to get better charts made to keep track of things like light schedules, detailed feedings, height change per day, etc. My current setup is my oldest 1st set of plants (5plants) and my 3rd set (6 seedlings), in my new 4x4 Vivosun grow tent equipped with a Spider Farmer SF-1000. I have kept my 2nd set of plants (4plants) in my original 4x2 Vivosun equipped with 600W Vivosun LED. These plants had been extremely stressed due to not having soil or containers available with shipping constraints. They've been doing a lot better since then and I'm hoping they make a full recovery. Fingers crossed! Running 24hr light schedule. Both tents equipped with temp/hygro high and low ranging from about 71-81°F with an average of about 78°F. Watering by plant pot weight, according to GH FloraTrio + CalMag Schedule. Mild LST via tucking of leaves blocking developing sites. Sorry for being so hectic the past week or so if anyone has been keeping up with this 😂 For the time being, I'm currently running all three sets of my plants in my 4x4 tent. It's running all three of my fans, both lights and has the carbon filter system and humidifier hooked up to it as well. I basically have the other 4x2 just sitting as a shell for the moment. Either planning to save it for climate control when curing the first harvest or sell it to invest in another Spider Farmer SF-1000 LED or equivalent and possibly another 4x4 tent. I have started a grow chart that's still a little sketchy but if nothing else having it here hells me keep up with it that much better. The first set of plant's nutrients was made to 4gal of water. The mix is a ratio of (Cal-Mag/GHMicro/GHGro/GHBloom) It's mixed (for the 4gal) in order; 10mL, 5mL, 10mL, 10mL. 440ppm @ 98.5°F 890EC @ 2.2°F us/cm This new nutrient mix was applied for the first time tonight and will run about a week. I'm running a bit behind according to the GH schedule I was following due to stunting the growth I felt like over a couple issues to where I have them an extra week of veg nutrients. As I have defoliated them and they have seemed to take it pretty well, I'm hoping the increase in bloom nutrients will kick the buds into overdrive for production and the plants will start to thicken up again. The second mix follows the same order as the first set in regards to nutrient usage. This mix is only mixed to one gallon. It as follows; 2.5mL, 2.5mL, 1.25mL, 2.5mL. 500ppm @ 98.6°F 992EC @ 0.4°F us/cm This is mostly following the same GH nutrient schedule as the first set only about 2 weeks behind. These plants suffered from being in too small of containers for too long and I believe this stunted their growth. I've had them in suitable new containers for a couple days now and hoping this new mix of increased nutrients will bring them back to life a bit and get them back in schedule. I'm honestly not too sure still about the ppm and EC numbers but a few bud-dies have mentioned that it plays important roles in plant health. So until I can better research good numbers and how to control it for my set up, I'm at the very least trying to keep track of the data. I apologise about this large chunk of text! I hope you enjoy the diary anyway in spite of the fact. I'm loving the look of the buds and everything seems to be going great. Only a few months to go! 😎

Still have issues with my insides/outside temps

cleaning out one of my fish tank filters into the water I am going to feed this plant. Should double the size of the buds, lets see what it looks like next week. Also had first mini frost.

Que pasa familia, vamos con la cuarta semana de floración de estas Tropicana poison F1 de Sweetseeds. Vamos al lío , las 3 plantas seleccionadas fueron trasplantadas a su maceta definitiva, ya superaron el shock por el trasplante, estas semanas las paremos todas a floración. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de floración 12h de luz, el foco está al 100% de potencia. Las jodidas estiraron demasiado, veremos como acaban, no me gustan tan altas. Las flores están cogiendo un olor bastante curioso que todavía no puedo llegar a describir, espero la siguiente semana poder dar algo de información. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Weather has been hot and humid! Going to have to look out for bud rot! We had super dry weeks and now a ton of rain and humidity—- with 90s. Doing great, but seems to have slowed a bit. Smells like a pine forest! ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

Decided to mainline 1 plant and top 2 to see which will bring in the most yield. this week I seen some stretch not a lot but they are growing. Im adding some rapid start next feeding to boost root growth for the next 2 weeks stay tuned Update. Added a digital dehumidifier to control climate and I also added some lavender plant, basil plant, mint plant and sticky mats to keep pest away and under control Had a gnat problem now it’s gone Thank God

My only clone that made it of the gopher glue started to flower and i re vegged her. This is after 7 weeks since the switch to 20-4. Thinkin i may keep her as a mom taking morecuttings tonight because rhisstrain was abslute fire.

No major phenotypic differences so far — which makes this run especially interesting to follow. ⸻ 🌸 Week 5 overview — transition into flower This week marks what feels like the first “real” flower week: • Clear bud sites forming • Vertical growth slowing slightly • Side branches pushing up evenly • Plants staying compact and well-balanced They’re stacking nicely and responding very well to the gentle training approach. ⸻ 🌿 Training & canopy management No heavy interventions here: • Continuous leaf tucking • Gentle branch bending • Very light LST, only where needed to open the canopy No defoliation beyond what’s absolutely necessary. The goal remains: let the plant decide, we just guide So far, this approach is paying off. ⸻ 🍽️ Nutrition & irrigation strategy (important update) ➕ CalMag introduced this week Not because the plants are deficient — but because: • We’re using rainwater + dehumidifier water • These sources are very low in minerals • Calcium & Magnesium need to be present before demand spikes This also explains the EC adjustments this week. ⸻ 🚿 Hand-watered plants • EC: 1.43 • pH: 5.9–6.0 • Water temp: 22.8°C Carefully adjusted to support flower transition without pushing too hard. ⸻ 💧 AutoPot-fed plants (6 plants) • EC: 2.29 • pH: 6.01 • Water temp: 22.8°C AutoPots are running mineral-only inputs, as organic inputs don’t perform well in this system. Higher EC here is intentional and controlled. ⸻ 🔍 Plant handling All plants are regularly: • Taken out of the tent • Checked for weight, water demand, and overall condition • Then returned to their position This helps ensure each plant gets exactly what it needs. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment (winter realities) • Outside: ~5°C, RH 92–96% • Grow room: • Temp: ~21.8°C • RH: ~58% Not ideal on paper — but the plants are not complaining, so we adapt and keep observing. ⸻ 💡 Lighting • PPFD: ~700–850 (depending on plant size and position) • Plants are praying consistently, showing good light response We let the plants “decide” how much they want to push. No forcing — just monitoring. 🔦 Under-canopy lighting — phased introduction By the end of this week, we’ll be plugging in the under-canopy lights. The canopy has already grown past the main light plane, and the goal here is not to blast the lowers — but to signal the plant that light is present from all directions. Why we’re doing this: • Encourage lower and inner bud sites to stay active • Reduce the “shade shutdown” response • Support more uniform flower development • Improve airflow and plant posture as branches respond to multidirectional light Important note: This will start very gently — low intensity, just enough to be perceived. PPFD and intensity under the canopy will be increased gradually, only if the plants respond positively. The idea isn’t forcing production — it’s communication. We let the plant decide how much it wants to use. ⸻ Fungus gnats — honesty section Yes, we’re seeing a small fungus gnat presence: • Yellow sticky traps installed • More intentional dry-downs • Actively monitoring, not panicking Personal thought (not science, just observation): A mild, controlled pressure may trigger subtle defense responses. Whether that translates into anything meaningful later… we’ll see. Week 7 of flower in the books and the Kush is in the home stretch. Pistils are all turning orange and buds are getting thick and resinous. She's got a nice citrusy smell and the colas are all swaying in the breeze. Shout out to Seedsman for these stable genetics. No deficiencies or issues that I had to fix along the way. Really happy I still have a couple more seeds left over.
