Start of day 63 hereNot much that I can mess up just flushing with r/o water PH 6.4. However I've learned a lot over the last couple of weeks, thanks to all the great advice and photos in every diary here. My big lessons are that you add nutes at a considerably lesser rate than recommended, in my case especially since I amend my grow medium. Also add all nures in the correct order and ph before finally adding any innoculent such as my home made lactobacillus. I'm working on the don't over water in veg thingy. I learned that I really need more distance on the lights in bloom, as I finally raised them 2 inches a few days ago and have probably doubled the size of yield by doing that alone, they literally jumped up. Finally, well so far I see from a lot of other diaries that I've been wasting a ton of space, so I will try a SoG on my next grow to get a better yield. Checked the trychomes this morning , mostly still frosty a few opaque no amber. Allright thanks again and leave a couple for seed. Day 66 getting close, may harvest tomorrow. I took 2 plants to my brother and he was impressed enough to order some MARS HYDRO and such. We put the 2 plants I gave him in the yard until he gets a closet setup. So my harvest will just be 2 plants. But hey, I'm no longer his gardner haha. Posted a few pics the trychomes today are starting to turn. Happy happy. Day 69 we drove by a dead skunk today and my wife started waving her hand in front of her nose while lowering the window. I couldn't smell a thing. So I guess that's why I clicked, smells normal.

First week of flowering! I chose to also do some lst on this lady, a bit of a different approach. She survived a couple of very warm days(32°C). The lower leaves started to die off so I used some more nutes. Watered with 2l(nutes), 1,5l(no nutes) and 2l(nutes). She is starting to smell a bit also, looking forward to seeing the buds!

The girl is progressing well. She is receiving around 25 DLI of light. I did a topping.

Another week down, smooth… mostly. I wasn’t ready for how savage these autos would get. Not “plant problems” just pure speed. One Hyperion got out of hand and is now over 100cm, basically taking up half the tent. Sounds like a win… until you remember there are 3 other plants in here and height is limited. Every time I think she’s done stretching, she’s somehow closer to the light again. Like she’s trying to merge with the fixture. To manage it, I hung a small plastic “shade” right above the tallest top to bring intensity back into a sane range. It was reading around 90k lux at the tip, now it’s closer to 56k in that hot spot. Overall the girls are happy. The one that started flowering first is setting big expectations — the leaves around the buds are already frosting up with trichomes, and I’ve honestly never seen that much this early. Hope she keeps that energy and the others follow. The only “plot twist”: the one still lagging behind is the Ranz. While everyone else is walking into flower, Ranz is still stretching like “nah, I’m good, I’ll clock in later.” Since they all share the same drip system + one reservoir, it slightly annoys the control freak in me I can’t dial the feed perfectly when one plant is on a different chapter than the rest. Fingers crossed she finishes the stretch soon and joins the flower party. Good luck to all growers and see you next week!

Flower day 17 - All the ladies are looking great, starting to see a lot of bud sights & the smell is definitely getting stronger everyday I open the tent! Thanks for following & happy growing friends!🌱✌️🏼 Flower day 19- Got a bigger dehumidifier because I was having problems on days I would water the humidity would go through the roof at night so to prevent mold I bought a bigger dehumidifier but now it is throwing off so much heat the tent is pushing 90 degrees F at some points throughout the day so I’m not exactly sure how to fix the issue! Will definitely not be running so many plants in the next run for the 5x5! Hopefully things get better!😅😅

This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Gorilla Cookies continues to smell and is very sticky. It is a tall and lanky plant but look at the heavy buds weighing down the stems. It should be ready to take down in a couple of weeks. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. This week the aroma they're giving off is noticeably stronger and really delicious. It's clear this week won't be their last. For whatever reason, they'll need more days than usual this time. At 62 days, the vast majority of trichomes were still clear, with a few amber buds—very few—and a slight tendency to develop foxtails; I'd been noticing this trend for a few days. At 63 days, I lowered the LED wattage to 220W, and regardless, I started the root flush. This consists of several waterings with nutrient-free reverse osmosis water until I decide to harvest. Esta semana el olor que desprenden es notablemente superior y  bien rico. A la vista está que esta semana no será su última semana. Por lo que sea esta vez necesitarán más días de lo habitual. A los 62 días la gran mayoría de tricomas seguían cristalinos y algunas pocas cabezas de color  ámbar, muy pocas y una cierta tendencia en generar foxtails, llevaba ya días viendo la tendencia. A los 63 bajé la potencia de los led a 220W. y quede como quede empecé con el lavado de raices. Consta de varios riegos con agua de osmosis sin nutriente, hasta que decida cortar.

She completed her flowering in 60 days, reaching about 10-15% Amber. She only received water in the last 2 weeks and has been dried out for the last 2-3 days. Her buds are quite big and sticky. The smell is kushy, not a fruity one at all. Let’s see how long it takes to dry. Keeping her in the dark at around 19-20 Celcius and around 60% Humidity.

strong auto flower. doing well in small pot tight space- feeding small and regular to compensate really. PEV as usual , great strains. they are throughout most of my diaries. we have another PEV auto flower in tent flowering (20/4 tent perma). i attached her too. the white on bud is an unfortuante calcium spill , i am gently fixing it with a brush and tap water. also attached is a weekly summary of all diaries. hope all is well. take care and have a nice week.
