Week 4 and buds are beginning to fatten up nicely, I’ve changed the position of the gelato and one of the Zkittles to improve light penetration into the canopy as the leaves have began to defoliate themselves from the plants. This being said all plants are looking green and healthy and show minimum environment stress. Hopefully this change in the canopy will allow each of the strains to grow to their full potential with the limited space that I have.

I was selected to test some of Fastbuds new genetics. Seeds germinated in 48hrs and 6 days later it broke ground and hasent slowed down. This grow is in my 4x4ft grow space located in an uninsulated shed. Each plant has a dedicated 150-200w LED from Viparspectra or Mars. Winter Temps in my area spike to -15C or more in Jan and Feb, so this will be an interesting and challenging grow. The grow room is 20-30C above ambient temperature, so there is a little manual and auto manipulation of grow Temps. This one got a late transplant it's only been in the new pot for 2 or 3 days, the other one is still in a solo cup I might put it in a 1 gallon bag as a back up but I'm tryin to keep it to 1 of each strain other than the gelato and lemon ak. They got moved into the 4x4 with the jimmy rigged 180w quantum board light built from ceiling tile grid. The tnb co2 is newish but I gotta get the heat up and bring in a more powerful light to take full advantage.

Day 43 : Watering with co2 tab / 5L. Also added food again because i think they need it. Increased ppm to 850. Maybe the next one will be pure water. Ventilation works all the time when lights are on. Temp and humi are stable and this is good for the girls. Although she is indica, she still grows. 9 cm in 3 days. So i guess this is the reason her buds are a bit behind. Patience is the key always. Also removed some burned leaves from all ladies. Edit (Day 47) : Watering with co2 tab every 5L. I watered with juices again at 850ppm because i felt that they need it. Only WC drank pure water because of burns. She grow 13cm in 4 days. An indica pheno stretches like she is in preflowering stage. And this i think is happening. At start she took a lot of air and maybe she felt cold. So, now she started again to develop. I make a prediction that her buds will be really fat. She is very healthy and responses absolute perfect to the nutrient schedule.

Blurple burnt leafs a bit this week and the next week but couldn’t see the damage under the Blurp until Back under one or my Mars lights (blurp ran a bit warm and intense for the 2x2 tent haha 😂 schoolboy error Lol 😂)

Week 8

Week #11-July 27-Aug 2 8/2-The top colas are ready to be harvested. Lot of amber trichomes now and I'll cut those and then lower the lights to let the middle and lower buds get a bit more ripe.

Approaching the finish line. Fertilizer is now at its final dose. Both plants stopped growing now and started to build thick buds. Ken in fact is way ahead in terms of buds but it might be because he Hase a little bit less in number. It’s possible that I trained Ryu too much for his pot size 😆😆. But let’s see. Both looking very good and a lot more powerful than in my first grow. Water intake is still massive. The top soil is rock solid while draining water super fast which must mean the pots are filled with massive roots. The erected teeth came down a bit but they were never that severe in the first place so I’m still not worried about that. I skipped one day of watering to account for possible slight overfeeding but I mean, today’s watering then was with the increased dose of fert 😆😆. I know I’m pushing it a little bit but that’s deliberate. I have high demands both in mass and quality so my approach is riding the edge as good as possible from the beginning 😆

Day 36- soil was dry so watered with 1 gal of r.o and 2.5 ml cal mag I tested the runoff at 6.2ph and ppm right at 800 going to give a very light dose of fox farm nutes next water Day 37 and 38- soil still moist just filling humidifier and keeping temps around 78f rh between 45-50% Day 39- soil was dry watered with 1 gallon r.o with 2.5 ml cal mag 3.0ml big bloom and 2.0 ml of grow big and tiger bloom the runoff tested at 6.1 ph and almost 1800 ppm not sure if I should flush the plant now. Ended up flushing a total of 2.5 gallons of r.o until the ppm reached just under 1100 now just hoping I didn’t burn her Day 40 and 41- soil still moist so just filling humidifier good news is she didn’t nute burn but my overreaction flush did cause some very minor nute deficiencies on some lower leaves going to feed nutes tomorrow and this time not flush even if Ppm number is high
