FBA2502 Week 3 April 13-19 Veg 2 This week I introduced nutrients to the watering schedule. My planned feed schedule will be to feed, feed, water each week until the time to flush. , adjusting nutrients per the growth cycle. Hopefully this will keep from overfeeding and reduce salt build up in the soil. Nutrients: I will be using General Hydroponics Flora line at ½ feed rate and Cal mag throughout this grow. My tap water measures 8.3-8.5 so even after adding nutrients, I have to PH down my feed solution. Regarding nutrients, I’ve tried Fox Farm, TPS1, Plagron and now General Hydroponics. What I am looking for is organic, ease of use, minimal individual bottles that will yield large, dense sticky buds that hit hard in effect. Plants range in height from 5-7” except #1 which has been pinned to the soil. I will try wrapping her around the perimeter of the pot. Since she leaned over, I pinned her down and have been anchoring along the rim, twisting the stem so the node is on the side or top rather than underneath. I don’t think she likes training since the stems are a bit floppy. They are all still in veg, bushy with large indica leaves. I’ve been tucking the large leaves under the bud sites to give more light under the canopy. I’m tempted to top one of the bigger plants to have a comparison on resistance and final yield. This week I made a short video for each 2502 tester and a pic or 2. GH Flora Micro ½ tsp /gal Gro ½ tsp /gal Bloom ½ tsp /gal Fox CalMag ½ tsp /gal PPM 573 & 715 when I added Plagrons Royal Rush 4ml. Pequeña actualización! Recien arrancando la semana 4, pero para que vean lo contenta que está con el nuevo panel quantum board! tremenda!! Ahora si! se pueden observar muchos mas pistilos, y comienzan a aparecer nuevos olores, de todas maneras mucho olor a verde 😅. Cuando instalé el panel lo tenia a 10cm de distancia, pero pense en alejarlo así les llega un poco mas al resto.

This girl is growing like a sword – tall, slender, and cutting through the canopy with style 😅 She's stretched quite a bit, and down below she’s rocking four tiny side shoots that I’m honestly not sure what to think of yet. But hey, I’m letting her do her thing. Stretch seems to be slowing down now, and I'm starting to spot the very first trichomes glistening under the light, always an exciting moment! This week I didn’t make any structural changes to the plant. Unfortunately, I noticed the presence of some thrips. As soon as I detected them, I treated the plant with SPRUZIT to stop the infestation early. Now I need to stay very alert and act quickly to fully eliminate the pests before the flowers start developing. Early control is key at this stage 🌿⚠️

Cooled off this week, 4th top recovered nicely, 32 nodes all secured down, another top next week, 2 week recovery then I'll let it grow up, and maybe one more top before letting her ride it out. I'll add a scrog net to guide the vertical growth up, works well as I can start it low and just slide it up and she grows up. Just drip irrigation 90min every 5 days, and a half dose of silica and diablo maxx, weekly LCPT spray and that's it for this week! Even the smaller plant looks incredibly healthy, loving life! Caterpillar damage is bad, but they will disappear shortly and those damaged leaves won't even exist in a month anyways. This fall I'm going to try to wrap my massive cherry tree in sticky stuff to prevent the canker moths from crawling up laying eggs in the fall, will see if next year's caterpillars are better.

Been battling caterpillars & powdery mildew , gave them both a spray over night with some Lost Coast Therapy for the mildew & I will be spraying in another day or two with Monterey BT for the caterpillars, a lot of the mildew disappeared, about two more applications it should be totally gone. This will literally be my last major outside grow

Wonderful harvest! Plants were very dense and frosty and smell was super strong. I made sure to wear gloves so my hands weren't sticky the rest of the day. Very happy with this strain, it seemed to produce quite a bit of dense frosty bud. Nice deep purple leaves at the end. Will update with a smoke report after a 6 day dry, 30 day cure in my Cannatrol.

Esta semana he regado solo con oro negro 2ml x litro de agua y organic power 1ml x litro de agua el resto de la semana solo con agua, he medido las ppm y en el drenaje me ha dado 1040. Me preocupa un poco el color de los tallos de las hojas que están de color morado, pero solo a las de maceta, a la que esta en tierra la veo bien, es mas le he sacado las ramas bajas para que no gaste energía en criar esos coquitos que salen pequeños.

Not sure what the GD glitch was last week but after I updated in showed I was a week behind. I digress. This week they are still blowing up. I have never personally had an auto stretch like this and I love it! #1 is a total candy stripe stalk and the flowers are bulking early. #2 is a little lankier and continued to stretch another 7” taller to 34” but has thousand of white pistils and looks to be about to stack on some weight now. Over all the colas look to be between 7-12”. #3 is a bushy little sucker and if you remember or this is your forest read the other blackberry x2 never germinated so I threw another stardawg In and it’s about 12 days behind so it should do its thing soon. I have a couple other dark devils I decided to start later than that in the back too. The tent is consuming about 4 -5 gallons per day and I think I’ll run a straight water batch for a day when I clean it on Saturday. Let me know what you think or if you have grown it before. I’m always looking for data like how long their flower period was or what you did that made them better. Thanks for lookin’.

I have checked the plants and one plant is now showing about 10% amber trichomes on old growth. New growth clear. Starting to see some nice colour changes across the canopy. Have fed them a weaker feed to start the week but included a microbe tea.

The addition of big bud from advanced nutrients has packed on some size. I had to add a third round of trellis netting for the blue berry. Almost half way through flower and things are going smooth. I have noticed a little potassium deficiency beginning will remedy this next reservoir change.

Growth, growth, growth…. They are vegging out now! Definitely seeing the size of my tent getting smaller and smaller this week. Getting ready to bloom soon! I do have to note … the funny guys on the side are from a failed attempt earlier grow this year. We def weren’t ready for them… they got cold, the soil wasn’t right. I got all of that right finally but they instantly went into bloom and def weren’t ready. Oh well!

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. This is the start of flushing for these lovely plants. I'll flower these plants to 10 weeks. I also like a few days of dark just before harvest. There's still food left in the medium, so the plants won't starve. I've found measuring the runoff that the first flush is around 750 ppm and the second flush is around 450 ppm and the third flush is around 250 ppm. The plants use up most of the food in the pots and have pulled alot from their leaves. Then it's time to harvest the very clean buds. There is no chemical taste if you flush and you get nice white ash when smoked. I got to say - look at the differences in the plants, wow, looks like 4 different strains. They all smell similar but look quite different. That is a common question on the questions page, why do my plants look so different from the same strain. Keep growing straight. Chuck.
