First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. The grow was a rollercoaster of highs and lows. My Blue Dream plant developed mold in the buds, so I decided to harvest my Banana purple punch earlier to stay on the safe side. The trichomes exhibited a good balance of amber and milky colors, but unfortunately, there was no time for a proper flush period. Banana Purple Punch encountered the most challenges among the strains. It struggled with aphids, nitrogen toxicity, and thrips, which affected its overall health and bud development. This strain seemed particularly sensitive to high nutrient levels, which likely contributed to these issues. Despite these setbacks, I’m hopeful for a decent harvest. Each problem provided valuable lessons on pest management and nutrient balance, which will be beneficial for future grows. Update 09.08. Today, I brought the Banana Purple Punch into my apartment for a trim session. Since I didn’t trim her wet, this took a bit more effort compared to the Blue Dream harvest. The buds are quite airy and fluffy, but they have a fantastic aroma. The vibrant purple color of the buds is stunning, and I can't wait to give them a proper cure and eventually taste them—I’m confident they’ll be delicious. Unfortunately, I had to discard a few buds due to mold spots again. The rich purple hues of the buds make it challenging to distinguish between mold and the natural coloration, but once they're fully dry and cured, the smell should reveal any lingering issues. The dry weight was 24 gramm.

Hi Growmies Happy new year 2024 and a prosperous green one for all. Here we are at week 5 of flowering and they are really setting themselves up nicely for some nice chunky buds. There is a very sweet smell coming from them now , nice and candy sweet. Their spread is quite wide and there are a lot of flowering sites to develop too. #1 is still out there in front as most productive and with the larger buds so far #2 is half her size but her buds are starting to show they will cover the whole stems. #3 has smaller flowers at tje moment but I expect that to even out over the coming weeks. I am still using the dehumidifier to keep that moisture down as the cold dark period gets quite damp amd I think these buds will be nice and chubby so a perfect place to hide mould if not managed properly. There is plenty of air movement beneath the canopy so this should also help keep them dryer. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and that you are recovering well. lol. Until next week. Be well. We are at day 21 on this gorilla cookies. I think she would be quite a bit bigger if I didn't break one of the mains on week 2 but she is still chugging along and growing well. I upped the maxigro to .5 tsp per gallon and started them on a little armor si so they can build some strong branches. Still running them on 24 hour light and 24 hour irrigation. They are going to stay under the blurple lights for a few more weeks until I can get them in the big room under the quantum boards. I'm hoping they will flower around 4 weeks but my autos seem to enjoy staying in veg so we will see what happens.
