Some huge colas on two of them. I need to run them again. This strain is a true champion. Yield, looks, resin, terps everything on point. 😎Week 3 8/2- Here we go into week three and I'm looking to see some explosive growth happening in the tent soon!😃 The girls are all running 2 1/2" to 4" in height with the Seedsman Gelato OG's and FastBuds Purple Lemonade currently kicking all the others butts!💪 Gave a good watering this morning 2hrs after lights on with non-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.4. I plan on maintaining that watering schedule from here on out. I refilled the humidifier with non-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.5. Love the new setup with the two HLG quantum boards, 4 plants per light, and currently running at 400w per light. I'm looking forward to some record yields with this new setup using these 650R's! Temp's/RH/VPD are where they need to be at this point with daytime temp's maxing @ 83 Deg F/ nighttime @ 68 Deg F, RH @ 55%, VPD @ 9.0😀 8/3- Started compost tea last night, ingredients were; 5g de-clorinated 7.0ph water & 5tbsp unsulfured molasses, 4 cups worm castings, 1 cup alfalfa meal, 1 cup kelp meal, 2tbsp bat guano, 1 scoop Great White mycorrhiza and 3tbsp Neptunes Harvest seaweed extract which were added after the air was turned on and the 'bag' was in the bucket. I fimmed the FastBuds Purple Lemonade #2 and Seedsman Gelato OG #1, LST'd the FastBuds Crystal Meth #1 & #2, and the Seedsman Zkittles #1. Whilst doing all that I noticed my old friends the fungus gnats so I immediately placed sticky traps in all pots....little bastards! I went online and ordered Nematoads who will have a field day with the gnats! The girls all got watered in from the top and bottom with de-chlorinated straight water ph'd to 6.6 @ 76deg 225ppm, lights still @ 36" above the soil and running @ 400w each.😎 8/4- Gave the girls compost tea for breakfast. The tea had brewed for 38hrs., had 854ppm and ph'd @ 7.1...PERFECT! I split 4g of the tea between the eight ladies @ 1/2 gallon each. I also topped the FastBuds Crystal Meth #2 and Seedsman Gelato OG #2 and checked and adjusted LST on all. Temp's, RH, and VPD all on point with the girls are showing it! 8/5- Soil felt moist so skipping water today and will feed early AM. All the ladies have taken on a deeper shade of green and are really starting to take off since receiving the compost tea yesterday and they'll be going crazy by the end of this week going into week four. The FastBuds Crystal Meth #1 & #2 are both showing early flowering signs already and are starting to get some purple coloration in new growth which looks natural, not a deficiency. I topped the FastBuds Purple Lemonade #1 and Seedsman Zkittles #1 and checked/adjusted LST on all. 8/6- Gave a good watering this morning with 4g of de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.8, went through, and tucked leaves on all the girls to keep exposing lower bud sites to the light so that we have a nice even canopy for flower! All the girls have either been topped, fimmed or LST'd at this point and all I'll be doing from here on out is tucking leaves and possibly some very minor defoliation if needed, 8/7- All the girls look very happy this morning and are starting to get ready for that stretch at the beginning of flower. The FastBuds Crystal Meth's are the shortest, along with the Seedsman Zkittles #1 and the CM's are already showing pistils but I'm not declaring that they're in 'flower' quite yet. 8/8- Gave all the ladies a good water in this morning with .5g each of de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.9 @ 76deg. Went over all the girls and tucked shade leaves to expose bud sites, removed a couple of the ones that couldn't be tucked, and were blocking numerous bud sites. I also continued with LST on all bending branches outward to expose them to more of that HLG 650R goodness!

01/11 Girls are blowing up. About mid stretch. True week one of flower 01/12 Switched out the MH for the HPS. They are running at 1150w with the UVBs. I will be adding some LED to mix the spectrum up a little more, plus i feel like they want more light even though its nuclear in there. They had a couple drinks of H2O this week. PH’ed to 6.0 using the bokashi/ffj. These plants wreak soo good when i brush up against them. IMO-The Bokashi/ffj adds soo much!!

The Apple Betty girls have performed very well this week! The LST began, and there was some great growth in side branching. I also started this week off with introducing them to some nutrients ❤️ Start of week 4, the girls had responded well to transplanting, so I decided to start with some LST. My main method is to use soft wire wraps (dollar store purchase!) I poke one hole in the side of the pot near the top, and then go directly opposite that hole and poke through to make another. The first hole is for a wire wrap to secure the base of the seedling from pulling right out or over too far. The other hole is for the direction you want to bend your plant to. I start by slowly working the stem between my fingers at the point where I want it to bend. Twisting and pinching slowly so not to snap. *wait a day or two after your last water, or it will be easier to snap* once it’s ready to flop, I use the wire tie to hold down the top of the plant as close as I can to the nearest shoots. I’ll usually leave the plant like this for a couple of days, adjusting the ties, and then take them off to let them recover . Watered with a small dose of the full line of Advanced Nutrients I will be using for this grow. The girls got about 500 ml at the beginning of the week, but 2 days in I could tell they wanted more. By the end of the week they are taking nearly 1/2 gallon (which will give me 10% runoff) At the end of the week I increased the intensity of the BP2500 to 190 watts at the wall and the girls did show a few wrinkles as they adjusted, but have quickly recovered. I haven’t topped these girls, and I’m not sure if I am going to… thoughts? Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

they are fattening up as they should be maybe a little slower than i expected but they are doing fine. i am expecting to harvest on 14/4/19.

Started to defoliate and lollipop her slowly, cut back on nitrogen completely and will only be using a tiny amount of Micro and Big Buds nutrients for the remainder of the grow.

7/27/2023- Prep Tent and system are cleaned and ready to go from my last grow. I have submitted my Journa for the Diary of the Month Competition here is to hopeing for good resutls. 7/28/2023- Germination Day 0- Seed initiation Well lets get this new Grow started.. So My Dad Sent me a custom Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Red Rhino: Red Rhino is an amazing strain coming from Israel and boasts a 60% Sativa and a 40% Indica. This strian comes from crossing double gum and master kush. Effects are an increased appetite, as well as giving you ephoric feelings throughout the whole day. RO Water Used Added Hydrogen Peroxided 8/1/2023- Germination Achieved G-Day 1 Popped her head above the root riot today to say hello.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. I also removed some of the water. 8/3/2023- Germination Day 3 Looking good stretching her leaves out to let in the lights 8/4/2023- Germination Day 4 Looking good a few days until I put them into the RDWC System and get this thing rocking and rolling. 8/5/2023- Germinaiton Day 5 Looking good will probably plant tomorrow if the roots are still looking good. 8/6/2023- Plant Day- Germination Day 6 Planted into the RDWC System today. Joy when they go into the system as long as we dial that in right this will now be a great grow.. Survived the hard part.. 8/7/2023- Germination Day 7 Fell over today I am worried.., she is showing some damage on the lower leaves from the over watering in the cloning machine but right now I don't see any new damage. Supported the Stems with little improvised pole to help her stand up. 8/8/2023- Germination Day 8 Added the first Nutes today, to help support root growth and to help give there first jump to growth. Day 38: I am getting the big 50L fabric pots primed and set with the eco-thrive Living Organic Soil . I am a few days over the update so the photo/video is from day 36. I am in the process of rebuilding too so time has been a luxury.

She is getting bigger and fatter. Her 6 main colas are shaping up beautifully. They're getting massive! The heat is bad and she is suffering. All her upper fan leaves are dying. We've gota a couple of weeks to go, so we'll see how it goes....
