26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! Welcome to my Gorilla Cookies Diary sponsored by Pure Instinto & Mars-Hydro. Flower Days 25-37 Days 71-83 wks 11-12 Plant is getting nice and fat. Buds are started to swell real nice. Still a about a week to go before she enters Ripening. Trichomes are 60-40 cloudy/clear. Ambers about 15%. Has been nice watching her develop into a lovely little plant. She is little, at just 53cm, she grew very little in her stretch, as did all of my fems. 1 grew 5cm in her whole pre flower, a dom sativa too. But, back to this girl. She has a lovely structure with a sweet smell, her buds pop with bright orange pistils, she still has a good bit of stumble, so, I reckon she's got about a week left in putting on mass. Diet/Defoliation She was on a healthy but low dose of feed never exceeding 650ppm with both Short Flowering and PK booster powder from Green House Feeding. I've decided to drop their booster for 3 of Atamis finishers with a touch of Plagron Zym & Silic Rock the Finishers ppm falls inthe range of 350-430ppm and then I add short flowering to give a boost for N, which brings the ppm up to 550-600 & PHs of 5.9-6.2, I've ordered Raw NPK & Micro nutrients to have more control over my feeds. For terpine/taste profile I went with the best product on the market, Terpinator "The OG" feeds off this are very high I feel, 380-410ppm PH 6.1. Very light defoliation has been done, as she really had already a low leaf-calyx ratio. So, I'm happy overall with her progress, all a little slow, but, she's getting there. I reckon 9 weeks total in Flowering but, as soon as I see 90-95% cloudy she'll be harvested. I won't be waiting for her to turn mostly amber. (As the weed degradation kicks in) I've been learning bit and extras with every grow, and they just keep getting better and better, the quality of her look already speaks to my improvements. Still a long way to go. But, I feel I for sure can reach beyond Dispen weed you get from a store, or local dealer. Lights: SP 3000 & IR/UV45 are been used to great affect this round, they're doing 8 plants in a 50x100cm2 space as opposed to the 11 I did in a space of 100cm2. Can already see much improvement in the bud. Glad I decided to retry this light in its more desirable coverage conditions. The IR/UV45 has stepped up my game so much, I really can't praise this product enough. (IF YOU'RE GROWING FEMS, AND UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF DLI, and don't implement this "1-2hrs extra flowering for all fems, without risk of reveg" then, well you really are behind in the times. And, its not as if its a new concept, Far Reds have been used by knowledgeable growers for decades to increase the flowering time and therefore your DLI. The UV-A is a really nice addition also. Last two weeks the weather was terrible. So I kept girls warm possible as I can.

Well I finally got the new pot pro system up and running with a little spare time today. The plants are of to a great start although I can already see there is going to be a learning curve on the watering and the need for a second bubbler manifold and pump. Merry Christmas!🎁🎄 🎅

Chopped earlier than expected. I thought it was finished., I dried for a couple of days until the branches snapped without bending. Usually the good old stuff you can find from websites concerning this.

Today marks the end of the seventh week for my cannabis plant, and things are looking fantastic! The buds are developing beautifully, swelling up with each passing day. It's incredible to see how much they've grown in such a short time. The first trichomes are starting to appear.🌱💚 I'm also happy to report that the nematodes have done their job effectively. The plant is much healthier now, bouncing back from any issues it had before. I'm feeling optimistic as I watch it recover and flourish. I can't wait to see how the buds develop further as we head into the final stages!💚

🌱 Week 3 | Purple Haze Photo | Folder 6A | Building the Foundation Every phenotype tells its own story, and this Purple Haze is beginning to reveal exactly the kind of structure I was hoping to see. Looking back at the photographs from the beginning of the week and comparing them to where she stands today, the progress has been remarkable. The increase in leaf size, stem thickness, and lateral branch development shows that the plant has settled comfortably into her environment and is now entering a period of rapid vegetative growth. This diary is part of my Project Blue series, where every plant receives its own individual journal. Although they all share the same environment, nutrition, and cultivation method, documenting each phenotype separately allows me to observe the subtle differences that make every plant unique. Two seeds from the same pack can behave very differently, and that’s exactly what makes growing from seed so fascinating. Like every plant in this project, Purple Haze is being grown using the 12/12 From Seed method. Instead of giving the traditional vegetative light schedule, the plants receive a flowering photoperiod from the moment they emerge. This technique keeps the plants compact while still allowing them enough time to develop a strong structure before flowering naturally takes over. It’s an approach I enjoy because it produces efficient, manageable plants while still allowing each phenotype to express its personality. Throughout the week the environment remained extremely stable, providing the consistency young plants need to thrive. Environmental Conditions • Day temperature: 27°C • Night temperature: 25°C • Relative Humidity: 55% • Root Zone Temperature: 21°C • Nutrient Solution Temperature: 20°C • pH: 6.0 • EC: 1.3 • CO₂: approximately 666 ppm • Light Schedule: 12/12 • Average PPFD: 600–700 Maintaining these parameters allows the plants to dedicate their energy to healthy growth rather than constantly adapting to environmental fluctuations. Feeding Schedule This week the nutrition remained focused on root establishment and balanced vegetative growth using the Plagron Terra line: • Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L • Power Roots — 1 ml/L • Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L The goal isn’t to push maximum growth as quickly as possible but to encourage strong, healthy development while building a vigorous root system capable of supporting heavy flowering later in the cycle. A Beautiful Structural Evolution The difference between the first photographs of the week and the last ones is immediately noticeable. The stem has thickened considerably, becoming sturdy enough to support future flower production without any assistance. Internodal spacing remains tight, creating a compact plant with multiple future flowering sites already beginning to establish themselves. The leaves are broad, flat and richly coloured, showing no signs of nutrient deficiencies or environmental stress. New growth emerges with a healthy lighter green before maturing into the darker foliage characteristic of vigorous vegetative development. Perhaps the most exciting change is the development of the secondary branches. Each node is now pushing strong lateral shoots, giving the plant a naturally symmetrical structure that should translate into an even canopy during flowering. Why I’m Using Leaf Tucking Instead of Defoliation One of the techniques I’ve been using throughout the week is leaf tucking. Rather than removing healthy fan leaves, I simply tuck them underneath neighboring branches to expose the developing shoots hidden beneath the canopy. This offers several advantages: * More light reaches the lower branches. * Airflow improves naturally. * The plant keeps all of its solar panels, allowing maximum photosynthesis. * No recovery time is required because nothing is removed. Young plants need every healthy leaf they can keep. Fan leaves are the engines that drive growth, so whenever possible I prefer repositioning them instead of cutting them away. Defoliation can always come later if it becomes necessary, but at this stage gentle canopy management is more than enough. Looking Ahead Purple Haze is quickly becoming one of the strongest structured plants in the room. She has responded beautifully to the stable environment, balanced nutrition and simple canopy management. Every day she’s producing more side branches, larger leaves and a noticeably thicker main stem. If she continues at this pace over the coming weeks, she should enter flowering with an excellent framework capable of producing an even canopy and plenty of well-positioned bud sites. Sometimes the best training isn’t about bending, topping or cutting—it’s simply about giving the plant everything it needs and then getting out of its way. 🌹 Pink Rozay Auto B - Week 4 | Early Flowers, Big Dreams 🌹 Some plants quietly follow the rhythm of the room. Others decide to write their own timeline. Pink Rozay Auto B is proving to be one of those special girls. While the entire 8×8 Adventure is progressing beautifully under our 12/12 From Seed experiment, she and her sister have clearly decided they aren’t waiting for anyone. Both have entered flowering noticeably earlier than many of their neighbors, already stacking fresh white pistils and showing that unmistakable transition from vegetative growth into reproductive mode. Whether they’ll ultimately finish well ahead of the others or simply settle back into the group’s pace remains to be seen—but that’s exactly what makes phenotype hunting so fascinating. Every day brings another lesson. This diary is another chapter in documenting that unique journey. ⸻ 🌱 Life Inside the 8×8 Adventure The room continues to evolve into exactly what I hoped this experiment would become. Multiple cultivars… Multiple phenotypes… One environment… …all responding in their own completely unique ways despite receiving identical treatment. Watching these differences emerge is one of the greatest rewards of this project. Pink Rozay Auto B isn’t the tallest plant in the room, nor the widest, but she carries herself with incredible confidence. Every day the structure becomes a little more refined, with new flower sites appearing throughout the canopy while maintaining a compact and manageable shape. She may not demand attention… …but she certainly earns it. ⸻ 🌿 Gentle Training, Better Light Training continues to be extremely light and intentional. Rather than forcing the plant into unnatural shapes, I’m simply guiding her architecture little by little. Low Stress Training continues to spread the branches outward while preserving the natural growth momentum. Combined with regular leaf tucking, more light now reaches the lower developing shoots without removing healthy foliage unnecessarily. It’s amazing how much difference simply moving a few leaves can make. Every exposed node becomes another opportunity for a future flower site, helping create a more balanced canopy while allowing airflow to penetrate deeper into the plant. Sometimes the smallest adjustments deliver the biggest results. ⸻ 🌸 Racing Into Flower One thing is becoming increasingly obvious. Pink Rozay Auto B is moving. Fast. The top flowers are already producing beautiful clusters of bright white pistils, and several lower branches have joined the race as well. Compared with many of the surrounding plants, she’s clearly a step ahead in flower initiation. Whether this means she’ll ultimately finish earlier or simply started blooming sooner is impossible to know at this stage—but that’s part of the excitement of documenting every single week. Nature always has the final word. ⸻ 🌡️ Summer Challenges Continue Summer growing always keeps us humble. Even with the air conditioning working around the clock, keeping temperatures under complete control during the hottest days remains one of the biggest daily challenges. This week the environment averaged: • 🌡️ Day Temperature: 33°C • 🌙 Night Temperature: 25°C • 💧 Relative Humidity: 63% • 🌱 Root Zone Temperature: 21°C • 💦 Nutrient Solution: 26°C • ⚡ EC: 1.35 mS/cm • pH: 6.1 • 🌿 CO₂: 639 ppm Considering the outside temperatures, I’m genuinely pleased with how stable the room has remained. The plants certainly don’t seem to mind. Healthy color, vigorous growth and strong turgor continue to suggest they’re adapting very well. ⸻ Feeding Program This week the feeding schedule remained simple and consistent using the Plagron Terra line: • Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L • Power Roots — 1 ml/L • Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L The combination continues to promote vigorous vegetative growth while providing plenty of support as flowering begins. No need to complicate things. Healthy roots continue to build healthy flowers. ⸻ 🔬 Looking Forward Over the coming week I’ll continue monitoring her carefully. If she keeps flowering at this pace, she could become one of the earliest finishers inside the entire 8×8 Adventure. Or… She might simply be an early bloomer before settling into the same finishing window as everyone else. Either outcome is exciting. Servus Moin! Die Blucci OG bekommt langsam richtig Farbe! Die Blätter fangen an interessante Lila-Färbungen zu bekommen. Heute wurde aber entlaubt, deswegen sieht man nicht mehr ganz so viele von den Blättern. Die Buds fangen auch langsam an richtig auszuhärten.

All 3 plants are looking healthy and occasionally even look happy when I'm not stretching their limbs out all over the place 😒 Not alot of progress on their height but they look like they're doing alright so I'm not gonna worry too much yet, I could really do with these being nice and short so I don't have to mess about raising the shelf up 🙄 That's all for the moment, just watering and moving the branches out, it's nearly flowering time 🎄 Happy growing everyone, take it easy 😎🌿 30th October All 3 plants are doing well and responding nicely to the lst, every day I move a bud site away more and new ones just keep popping up all over the place 🌿 not alot of vertical growth which is fine by me just don't know if that'll negatively impact my yield 😕 but they're more than likely getting ready to shoot up 🌱

Not much to mention, everything in cruise control. The Mephisto NCH is just a side note at this point. After a month I can say it will be a micro plant. So from here the Height numbers in the Info section will be referring to the DeadHead OG clones. They are just doing their thing. Just light waterings on tuesday and Friday, plain water ph7.0 I am going to put them into a 24 dark Cycle starting tomorrow after lights out. And then they will go into the flower closet to be flipped. Monday 3/7 I started soaking a Mephisto Pink Panama Auto. I will include this auto into this diary as it will probably still be in the same time frame as the Photo plants. And it will be reared the same as all the other plants. Again it was soaked in the same H2O2 solution and successful at cracking in 12 hours. Paper toweled for another 12 hrs and then into root cube. Seedling emerged and has first set of leaves after 1 week from soak. It already has a nice thick stem so we will see. Not much else to report. The beauty of living soil.
