Still running heavy bloom. I will taper off when buds are fully formed. Very unique blooms. I have only grown indica dominant plants so far. I’m hoping these flowers fill out while staying firm. I’ve been defoliating as I go. I will have to prune a few branches that didn’t make it.

🌸 Week 3 Flower – Growing Strong, Tall, and Vibrant! 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! It’s already Week 3 in flower, and I’m thrilled to bring you this update because these plants are doing phenomenally well! Some are stretching up so tall that I might have to get creative in the coming weeks! Fruit production is well underway, and it’s absolutely amazing to watch the canopy fill out as these girls reach their potential. Aptus Holland Pack Unboxing & New Additions This week kicked off with a big arrival: the Aptus Holland nutrient pack! 🙌 I couldn’t wait to share the unboxing with you all; there’s a video up where I go through all the goodies, so check it out if you haven’t yet! Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Added a second LED having some temperature issues. Changed my set up that brings in cool air, getting close to where I want it.

I had suspected that these wonderful young ladies would require more time to reach peak Harvest and i was correct. Allowing these the extra week has allowed for some excellent weight gain and additionally allowing for more Trics to form and start to change color. Using my mag glass i have determined that now is the time to start my pre harvest. I have removed some of the larger leaves allowing for more light to penetrate lower down the plant, this has now allowed the lower nugs to finish of and bulk up the best they can. I feel the Harvest of the Purple Queen is imminent however finding the right moment will be more tricky. As this is the last Flowering week update i will be posting on this Strain. I will do that for a while because you still have time until there is space in the bloom tent 😅. They were watered twice a week with 1-1.2 l each time (see table above for nutrients). Tomorrow they will be treated again with nematodes against tripse because I saw some in the vegi room 😡. Otherwise everything was cleaned and checked. Day 50. Gorillas goes by plan, Cookies is still a pain every time i see them ... Control garden will go to green house on day 54, rest of girls will get 24 hours of darkness and will be forced to flower .. Nothing good to be said, but i will try to feed them, hope nitrogen toxicity wont kick in ... Both strains are overfed very easy, cookies are overfed without food even ... ;))) Lets see .. Happy growing ! p.s. my old phones mic is broken, so put volume down while watching video ;))) Day 52. Girls were very hungry, so heavy feed and rain for them. Lights where dimed to 50% while leaves had water on them. Some Cookies started to stretch, inner node distance is huge, maybe i will have second time only in my life hermie.... And there ready along with there big sister 67 days in flower to achieve the best smell I’ve ever smelt, these plants weren’t touched at all, not one leaf was removed throughout the entire grow, no nutrients, no PH the water, and I think it just shows for its self. same plan for drying and curing as the big one, will be back with a smoke review.
