New week starts. __________ 🌞10.05 I've watered my plants with 'Pre-Flowering' GHE nutrient mix and spraiyed them with 'Foliar nutrients'. 🌞11.05 Nothing for today. 🌞12.05 Nothing today. No feeding, no spraying. I'm patiently waiting for the end of a week to make huge defoliation. My babies are big. Too big. 🌞13.05 The same. 🌞14.05 Found few bent up leaf tips. Thinking what it is. Upd: I asked a grow kwestion and got an answer. As a result, I moved my lamps higher. 🌞15.05 The reddish 'rusty' marks shows up between upper leaves veins on 'RG'#2 I suspect sunburn. Asked a new grow question. 🌞16.05 It's definitely Phosphorus deficit combined with high temperature. I've measured income and outcome water and it was normal, so it's not an overfeeding. Watering with 80% 'GHE Tripart' bloom formula with adding 80% of recommended dose of 'Advanced PK' nutrient. Watering: - Ph 6.2, - CE 1.17 Drainage: - Ph 6.25 - CE 1.09 I can't change lamp-to-plant distance, but I can put other lamp in my grow box. I have 50 watt red light grow lamp and I'll change one of my 100W lamps to it tomorrow when the light will shut down. It will be 250W instead of 300W and that should be more comfortable to the flowers, I guess. I grew the mighty 'Critical' with this setup. Sprayed my garden with clean water and that's all for today. ___________ Week ends.

This will be the last week in veg! You can already see some coots forming and their height is upwards of 18 inches. I will switch their light schedule on Sunday and start the bloom. Can’t wait!!

We are now in flowering, we are guiltily carrying with us a bit of vegetative over fertilization but we are sure that we have worked well and that the flowers will not be compromised. The good news is that the plants are exceptionally vigorous and practically do not need fertilizer in the vegetative phase, and it seems to me to be excellent quality. We wait to see the flowers and you will see... Our Wurlz F1 per mea culpa mea culèa mea grandissima culpa shows some signs of overfeeding, the famous yellow tips of the leaves. Let's be clear, this is minor and is due to the fact that these genetics are so good that they need very little or no fertilizer in the vegetative phase. Then if you already have fertilized soil, forget about growing guys, another pro! I gave the recommended doses even a little less to tell the truth of both Aptus and Plagron and the plants more or less all have these small signs of over. LITTLE guys, wait until the end to save if you feel like it, or at least I recommend it. To fix this little thing we go to flush with pH 6.2 and only give Aptus Regulator which should rebalance the plant and soil before delicately moving on to fertilizers for flowering. Heavy training continues, foundation of plants is done, a lot of wires included, heavy defoliation and pulling of branches very two days, There is a 30sec video (10min video but accelerated) so ya can see how they like training :) All branches are left for now, let them rest from this week stress, next week is branch selection, one more week of veg and they will be ready for 12/12 They started to show very strong growth, also they started to drink 1.5L every two days. Week 4 update - had to list it as a flower week as we flipped em half way through. Exotic wasn’t lying - the spicy bitches hit maturity rather quickly and we now have a guaranteed 2 males and 3 females - perfect ratio score👌👍. Balls started showing in a span of 12-36 hours. One of the females entered flower early so she may be a dud, an auto or just stressed for some unusual reason. We’ll probably either separate er or let it grow with the rest and pitch it. Won’t be using that seed knowing that underlying issue. Similarly, one of the males has also demonstrated some fan leaf mutation - I actually like this kind of variation and it makes things interesting so bonus there👍. The rest of em are doing just fine. So god damned nice to have a run that’s on a quick schedule to finish within 3 months. It’s been a long year for the pollen chuck and we’re really looking forward to the upcoming all fem. Run. For now though - conditions look ripe for a bunch of awesome crosses, any one of which could be pure 🔥. Till next week yall🤟. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

This girl is looking Amazing! I am so excited to see what this plant produces. Does anyone have any tips on what I should do with this plant as far as should I defoliate or "lollipop" it? I've never gone this far before in a grow of photoperiod!?

week intel: its time to harvest some of plants the ones that is mature enough. indica dominant plants will done first always so we should harvest them first because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. indica dominant plants will get done 1 or 2 weeks sooner than sativa dominant plants that will often takes more than 8 weeks so be aware to harvest them sooner. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.
