Hey growmies! week 3 of flower flew by, this week is only 6 days, as last weeks entry went on for a day longer. I didn't really touch the flower this week, just let her grow, next week I will probably pluck off some more leaves. feel free to provide input. if you watch the timelapse. you can tell she stops dancing towards the end of the week, so I assume her stretch is as good as over. no real smells yet, just smells like fresh greens still.

everything looks stable :) the mistake was made when choosing this pot, it is too small for her :( there is no room for the roots so it grows quite slowly, but everything is fine - I learn from my mistakes :) this week I did a lot of pruning of leaves and branches, which the girl responded well to , without much stress, I'm going on vacation soon - I'll leave the girl alone for a week - of course someone will come to water her :) so before I leave I'll give her at least 1000ppm water, and the next 2 waterings will only be pure water 25ppm :) I hope everything will be fine :) good luck everyone :).

This plant just keeps amazing me every week. Lots of healthy new growth every week. She is starting to throw out pistils now so flowering is coming soon 😀😀. I may have to tie her down some more but we will see how the stretch plays out. Onward 😎🍿🍻🌱

Start of week 4. Blue Dream has recovered nicely from the stress she experienced during week 3. She handled the 7 day stretch between feedings with minimal issues, even better than the GG4. Until next week, happy growing everyone!

Going to update a smoke report after drying. Going to do a 3 stage sampling on the cure to find the best time. Small bowl with no cure, small bowl after 1 week cure. If needed, one more test on the 2nd week of curing. Got smaller buds on this one but that is ok. Moreso excited on profile. Going to update the yield tonight

I'm continuing the feed schedule of six, 15 minute feeds daily and am leaving the nutrient level at 900ppm. The HLG 650R is now at 100% output, and is hung 28" from the canopy. I'm keeping a close eye on all of them, looking for the first signs of flower. I also am diligently tucking shade leaves away daily trying to get some light down into the plants. 11/3- Yesterday I decided to do a little bit of defoliation, removing the largest shade leaves on all three which really helped with light penetration. Today all of the plants looked none worse for the wear, and as spunky as ever! 11/5- All three plants are now in flower, I have done LST on all three, tying down branches with horticulture wire. I've also done some defoliation on each plant as they got extremely bushy and were getting zero light down into the lower sections of them. All have responded extremely well to the training and are looking great! Tomorrow I will empty and clean the reservoir along with the 'brain bucket' as the water has really gotten funky and has an odor that I don't like. Going forward, I'm going to be doing weekly changes on the reservoir where I'll empty/clean/refill and add fresh nutrients. In between changes I'll just be topping off the reservoir with straight water and only checking the PH. 11/7- There goes the first week of flower for the FastBuds Strawberry Gorilla's and they're all looking pretty darn good, all things considered. We don't hide behind a finger, nor behind a rolled joint nor behind anything, the Permanent Marker is the strain that has the most Hype at the moment in a few years and we also expect a lot from this one from Zamnesia. The cover of the seed pack alone is something spectacular, it seems to have been made by the best Street Writers. If you only look at them a week ago it doesn't seem true, but when the plants start, they go and the Permanent Marken go like a rocket. Week 16 (6/6/22 - 6/12/22) - FLOWER Week 2 Ladies respoded well to last weeks trellising and defoliating.

Switched to flowering. Males respondef very fast! 2 weeks and they are almost opening the first flowers. Taking clones. Beautiful looking plants.

Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment...
