Moin, Mittlerweile befinden wir uns am 21. Blütetag und damit am Ende der 3. Blütewoche. Der Stretch ist komplett vorbei und die Pflanze konzentriert sich deutlich auf die Blütenbildung, viele weiße Pistils sprießen aus den neu gebildeten Blütenständen. Entgegen meiner Erwartung sind alle Blüten mit Trichomen überzogen und die ersten süße Terpenen liegen in der Luft. Meine Vorfreude auf diesen Strain ist wirklich groß! Bisher sind keine Anzeichen von Stress oder andere Mängel erkennbar und die Blätter haben ein sattes grün. Die Pflanze braucht von ihrer Struktur her etwas Unterstützung, die Triebe bleiben auch für einen Steckling relativ dünn und freuen sich darüber in der spätestens Blüte unterstützt zu werden. Contrary to my expectations, all the flowers are covered in trichomes, and the first sweet terpenes are in the air. I’m really looking forward to this strain! So far, there are no signs of stress or other deficiencies, and the leaves are a rich green. Due to its structure, the plant needs a little support; the shoots remain relatively thin even for a cutting and will appreciate some support by the time flowering begins at the latest.

Here we are at week 8 of flower plants are getting cut down tomorrow at day 56! I would of liked to push them another week but I’m literally getting my neighbors knocking on the door telling me it’s the smell is too strong! But I’m hyped to smoke these strains the snowcandy is a keeper forsure I got a couple more phenos of each strain I’m going to run next round so that should be promising ! Vamos al lío, de las 3 plantas, me quede con 2 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros que además provocó un shock que también solucione. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Lighting Parameters: PAR Map: Maximum PPFD is 800, minimum PPFD is 550. VPD: Ranges from -0.1-1.1 Daytime Temperature (DT): 23-24°C. Nighttime Temperature (NT): 19-20°C. Leaf Temperature: 21-22°C. Light Distance: 45-55 cm from the plants. CO2 Levels: 700+ ppm. HLG Scorpion Diablo: Set at 60%, positioned at a 45-55 cm distance. Girls drink less water, so for this week and till the end of flowering new misting timing's Daytime: ON for 50 seconds, followed by 30 minutes OFF. Nice growth out of these girls in their first 9 days above soil. The Dinafem Critical+ is larger out of the gate, but the Blackberry is showing signs of catching up towards the end of the week. I also notice twisted/wrinkled looking leaves on the Blackberry, but that seems to be common with purple strains at this age. They did need a little water near the end of the week, I added some Recharge to the water and the next day I saw noticeable growth in both girls. It could be coincidence since rapid growth at this age is expected, but I've never had any bad experiences with Recharge. Looking forward to the progress this upcoming week! Keep on growing!!!

Middle 2 plants stretched a lot week 3 of flower. They were growing slower in veg so I flipped to flower as soon as their canopy reached the net (barely LST these 2 plants with the net given their slower growth). Then week 2-3 of flower they took off. Did some defoliating to expose bud sites further down with the intent to increase yeilds.

Very happy with how this lady has performed, amazing quality buds, very sticky and dense flower with a concrete smell that I love so much, which is that kind of fruity sweet flavor that this lady is able to produce, it's been a beautiful journey, I'm gonna enjoy a lot this flowers. Very recomended guys!

It’s become a ritual—the rising sun of the LEDs accompanied by the rising strings of the symphony. The girls seem to love the high-class treatment! ❄️ Status: The Final Ripening The Banana Purple Punch Auto is looking world-class. The frost has moved from the buds onto the sugar leaves, and the density is getting serious. • Trichome Report: I'm seeing a sea of milky white heads. We are very close. I’ll be watching for that first 5-10% of amber to decide on the final flush. • The Fade: The nitrogen yellowing we discussed last week has progressed, which is perfect. The plants are naturally depleting their stores, ensuring a clean, smooth smoke without that "chemical" green taste. 🛠️ Maintenance & Environment • Defoliation Check: The air is moving freely through the canopy after my previous heavy leaf-stripping. Week 2 of flower roughly and all plants have begun the shift to cotton balls. Except for the males of course but, they’re grown som hefty sacks also😉. As it turns out we have 3 males, not 2. That might present an option to harvest pollen off one of em to actually save for future use. We’ll see how it goes. Other than that - all plants are performing generally well. Certainly we’ll enough to make some seed babies so let’s get to it. I figure nuts start bust’n in about 2 weeks or so yall! Giddy up and slap dat ass - we gotta make ourselves some bit ‘o awesome😎. Background Fingers crossed that these Spicy Bitch regs provide at least one male so that we can back build some stock of it. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Defoliation done on the last day of the week, everything's fine so far. The flowers have already started to give off a wonderful scent, everything is going as expected. Looking forward to the next few weeks... ✌️

Harvest week for Auto Mintz arrived around week 14-15, with the two plants hitting about 90 cm and sporting sticky buds. The air carried a sharp, minty scent, and the trichomes had turned mostly milky with a few amber flecks – time to cut. Watering stopped a couple of days before, and on harvest day, the buds were trimmed carefully, yielding a modest but satisfying 140 grams dry from both plants. They dried over a week in a dark, ventilated spot at 20-22°C and 45-50% humidity, keeping their fresh aroma. It was a straightforward process with a decent outcome for the effort.
