About Sour Tangie Dawg cannabis seeds

July 20: smoke arrived this morning to go with our heat wave. Awesome.
Starting force flowering this evening. Will put plant in dark garage for 12 h darkness for a couple of weeks to initiate flowering. Already started flowering, but I really want to force it along to improve bud quality by having the buds ripen under stronger sun.
In dark garage by 9 pm followed by 730 nm far red light and then out at 7 am. The far red light is a bloom booster because it initiates dark mode 2 h faster and is like getting a 26 h day. So, 10 h in garage plus 2 h from far red light is 12 h darkness and 14 h of daylight. Rock on.
July 21: obvious stretch from overnight in the hot garage. Recorded as 14 h daylight with overnight temp listed as 24 C but it was easily 30 C when going into garage. Hot and smoky. Anyway, lots of misting and watering and seems to be doing great. Addded bloom nutes in top dressing at end of last week.
July 22: still too hot but she’s still managing to grow. Now up to 40”.
July 25: now 44” so four inches in three days.
July 26: notably large stretch overnight probably grew another inch. This Blueberry Pie was always neck and neck with my other photoperiod, but she is pulling ahead in height now that flowering is starting. So far so good.
Windy today and the plant was catching too much. Defoliated fan leaves in the middle so it’s not so much of a sail. Don’t really want o be removing fan leaves, but was best option. In ground or a bigger bag are not options so gotta make it work. Worth it to be able to move around in pursuit of direct sun.

02/07 - Prepped for cloning - applied heavy defoliation - isolated clone cuttings - prepping 15 clones for 4x4 - running mother in veg for about 3 maybe 4 more weeks then flipping into flower (02/25).
02/09 - (C) - Clone (Trim) process complete - 15 clones in 2x2 (Nursery) moving forward I will be splitting the updates between "Mother & Clones - Update will be reported as follows exp

In der woche befanden sich die Pflanzen in der späten Blütephase mit klar fortschreitender Bud-Reifung. Die zuvor etablierten Trainings- und SCROG-Strukturen zeigten weiterhin ihre Wirkung, da die Haupttriebe optimal im Licht verteilt waren und eine gleichmäßige Canopy bildeten.
Die Blüten nahmen sichtbar an Dichte und Gewicht zu. Besonders die oberen Budsites entwickelten sich stark und begannen, sich deutlich zu verdichten. Die Harzproduktion nahm spürbar zu und die Pflanzen wirkten insgesamt sehr stabil in der finalen Füllphase.
Das Blätterdach blieb größtenteils vital, wobei einzelne ältere Fächerblätter begannen, ihre Nährstoffe in die Blüten umzuleiten.
👉 Eine sehr produktive Woche, in der die Buds klar an Masse und Struktur gewonnen haben.

*Week 6 of flowering 10/01*
Critical +2.0 - Apple Fritter
Both plants are nearing harvest and have maxed out at a height of 48 inches.
Buds have developed heavy trichomes and are giving off a bright and vibrant smell.
85% of both plants have grown in their orange hairs and have a bright green and orange tint,
Today will be the last nutrient feed, I will be using the "Lotus Carboflush" starting tomorrow (10/02) to remove the salt build up until harvest which will be next week (10/09)

Both are heavy on top - Covered in trichomes - smells deep (Citrus)
Dry trimming in two weeks - aiming for 14 day cure.

Okay so my favourite batch of all. This plant smells soo citrusy and fruity! Its got a similar texture and smell to Amnesia.
Ive been flushing these for the past week. Hopefully harvest these this week.
Not bad for no training and topping.
Ill be posting soon this week about the harvest!

05/30 - (C) - As we closer to harvest all 8 ladies are running at full capacity with 0 issues - I will be increasing their nute feeds to 3 times a day and will be using more phosphate, potassium and Cane Molasses on the heavy feeds and Silica, Flower fuel, kelp and bloom for supplement feeds. 06/03 - The babies are doing great, almost ready for harvest - I began a frozen water feed program 2 weeks ago and since then I have seen a definite increase in trichome production and cola structure - My feed system is a 2 days process consisting of tea blend for 24hrs and then from fridge to freezer for another 24 hours then feeding the plants while the nutrient feed is about 32-35 degrees (Right as the solution begins to create thin layers of ice). This cycle is repeated every 4 days with a clean water feed in between - For the 8 - 1 gallon clones I am processing about 3 gallons of nutrient feed. So far so good. 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
06/06 - All the babies are rocking out accordingly - There are o signs of any deficiencies throughout all 8 clones - I will begin the pre-harvest process next week - In the meantime they will be on the regular program and frozen water feed schedule as stated on the previous update. The entry will close out this week.

Bud sites started to appear everywhere, plants are looking healthy and are still stretching a bit. I've decided to add x2 infrared strips to the lighting setup, in order to improve the spectrum for blooming and trigger the emerson effect (infrared 15 mins before full darkness). I did notice in the past that infrared before darkness helps a lot and speed up the whole flowering process. I started to add some "Organic Bloom" to my soup. Various phenotypes are showing their traits, some plants are true sativas, others are more hybrids. I'm going to bet that the most sativas will take a few more weeks to finish. Stay tuned!

June 28: now the rainiest June on record here. Plants are healthy but behind schedule due to the weather. I haven’t really watered in weeks. Tomorrow everybody will get some nutrients as a foliar spray.

It has been a learning curve for me this weekend trying to get temperature & humidity correct! All three plants looked like they were going to die! I ended up downloading a room VPD chart and hooked up a second humidifier and pumped humidity into the room at full blast. After a hour or so I finally got the VPD to be correct in the room! They are recovering well and I’m very thankful that they bounced back!
