Day 64 - Beginning of the Final Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, my grow friends! We’re entering the last flowering week, and it looks like I’ll be harvesting the plant around Friday, which will be roughly Day 68. 💭 Harvest Decision: It’s a tough decision because while the buds are still growing, the trichomes in the middle and lower parts of the plant are already about 80% milky and 10% amber. I’ll keep an eye on things and plan to check the trichomes again on Day 65, two days before harvest, to make a final decision. 🌿 Trichome Considerations: I have a feeling that even after cutting the plant and hanging it upside down to dry, some nutrients might still move into the buds, potentially causing them to swell a bit more. This is something I’m curious to see. 💧 Humidity, Water, and Temperature: As I mentioned in my last update, I flushed the plant yesterday, just before the start of the final week, with 4 liters of water. This should help flush out any remaining nutrients, and I likely won’t need to water again before harvest since the pots are thoroughly soaked. The humidity and temperature are holding steady between 52-58% and 20-24°C, which I find ideal. I’ve got my exhaust system and fan running continuously to ensure no mold develops. 📸 Final Updates: I’ll check in again with an update just before harvest to let you know how things are looking. Remember, I’m posting new pictures and videos of my plant every day. 🌱 Day 70 - Last Day Before Harvest 🌱 Hey Grow-Friends! 😄 Today marks the final day before harvest, and I couldn’t be more excited! As planned, I’ve kept the plant in darkness for the last 48 hours and haven’t watered it for 6 days. My goal is to let it sit in the dark until this evening, when the time finally comes to chop it down. 🌿✂️ Drying Decisions 🌬️ After much research and considering several factors—especially the high humidity in my tent—I’ve decided to go with wet trimming instead of dry trimming. I know dry trimming is often recommended for better bud quality and taste, but my main concern is avoiding mold at all costs. So, to play it safe, I’ll wet trim the buds, get them into the right size, and then place them in a drying net for about 7 days. Timing Concerns ⏳ I’m still figuring out the best timing for transferring the buds into curing jars. Since I’m wet trimming, I won’t be able to rely on the classic “stem snap test” to check dryness. But we’ll figure that out as we go along! Final Reflections 🌟 It’s been an amazing journey, and although I could push the grow a little further, I believe this is the perfect time to harvest. I started germination of 1 Strawberry lemonade bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get this lady situated into her home. Cant wait! Some background information on my experience with Strawberry lemonade. Ive only grown this variety out once. In a 1 gallon SOG grow where she faired ok. I could tell she really wanted to explode and branch out. But a restricted root mass just would not allow for it. She had some of the sweetest tasting flowers that came with a strong potent kick. Really looking forward to giving her a larger container and see what she can do when shes let loose.

Week 9 for Lemon Orange by greenhouseseedco, Been trying to fix the nitrogen deficiency while also some other stuff as some of the growth has been fairly poor... Not where i expected to be with them i expected to be in flower by now but not just going to flip them while unhealthy that would be a waste i think. So ill be trying to get everyone in order before i flip them. They are starting to get some extra colour on the leaf though so thats a positive.

did all the topping I plan to do and she's responding just fine. found a touch of fuzz on the old seed pod forming on the rockwool and removed it, as well as snipping off the internodal leaves that had some brown spots... and now she's clean and symmetrical! very definitely an improvement from a couple weeks ago :) did not do a full nutrient swap this week, so no pics or videos of the root system just yet... maybe mid week. tuned back the nutes just a tiny bit (mixed same nute in 1700 ml instead of 1500). not sure why, mostly instinct and to help keep it small (the whole point, really). she's fun to grow! if you've never tried a desktop nano grow... i highly recommend it 😊👌😺

End of Week 15 (8th week of flower) Still cruising, everything has been running very smoothly and the smell is just undoubtedly off the charts. The ladies are showing off some colour and are fading naturally bringing out hues of orange and purple. I also noticed that the leaves and buds closest to the lights are showing significantly more colour that the ones that are further away. The colas are also getting heavy and there are some side colas that are hanging and needed to be reinforced to keep them upright. (This is a good thing obviously) I know I said I would start the flush (not giving any more nutrients/top-ups) but I decided to give them a small dose of Boom Bloom just to give the ladies that final boost. I boosted them in the middle of the week and the flush has begun after that. Only water from now until harvest. Pest Report: None Smell Report: HEAVEN

Day 71. Girls loved last week boost, pots are light in a day and maybe i will give to 7 of them Ph water today even. Toped Tangie will be watered 4sure, widest Tangie still heavy, i think its her last feeding anyway, maybe she will get last molasses and CalMag at the end of the week together with other girls. Defoliated plant loves her life , but will finish only in midle of february i quess... Moved toped plant inbetween two lamps, she became tallest plant and i had a feeling, that her tops overheat a bit, bigest early FastDiesel was moved to the corner. All is good and i think i will start to search for my loop very soon ;))) Day 74. Some girls started to gain weight, other still in full bloom. Girls looks healthy and happy, but my heart doesnt sing .. still think that 50 g is my best result from those plants, some will be closer to an ounce. The only hard mistake i made was leaving them unwatered for one extra day, but they bounce back after two hours, so it leaves me with idea, that time invested dosnt pay off. All 3 FastDiesels looks like twins, same structure, same flower. Really happy with those and maybe harvest and taste will push me to try out this strain in summer outdoors. Tangies are all very different, from 5 seeds - two are really nice fenos, very fat buds and compact structure, one is absolutly sativa dominant, everything very slim and long, one was upsidedown, so this one looks totaly third type . The earliest started to flower and most fastest in grow is forth type, her buds are aswell different from all others. Time will show ... Fingers crossed ;) Day 76. Girls are ok. Some started to yellow a lot, thinking to start flushing first early three girls. Victims in todays photos ;) Last feed tomorrow for most of them anyway.

Very happy with this strain, fast and frosty! Only going to become a better grower by working hard everyday. Extremely pleasing smell and terpene profile.

Hello everyone, I'm really pissed about the 3 Afghan skunk plants, the package description says feminized seeds but they are in flower mode while the light is on 24/7, the people at Expert steeds are doing a terrible job packaging the seeds! Last time i buy seeds from expert steeds that is for sure. In 2 days they will get a good defoliation and than it's racing to the finish.
