New Irrigation System – Mars Hydro Foldable Bucket Drip Kit This week, we also welcomed a new tool into the grow room: the Mars Hydro Drip Irrigation Kit (link here). 👉 Important note: I’m not running it on automation or timers. I will manually control it, plugging it in and off when watering. This way, I get the benefit of precise, even distribution, while keeping full hands-on control. What it is: • A bucket-based drip system that distributes water (or nutrient solution) evenly to multiple pots through adjustable drip emitters. • A way to reduce manual hand-pouring and ensure more consistent soil hydration. • A tool that can save root systems from “wet/dry pockets” that sometimes happen with hand-watering. What it is NOT: • It’s not fully automated irrigation (unless connected to timers or sensors). • It doesn’t make plant care “hands-free.” You still have to decide when and how much to water. • It won’t replace observation—plants still speak through their leaves and posture. What to Expect: ✅ More even watering across pots. ✅ Reduced runoff mess if dialed correctly. ✅ Less physical strain compared to hand-watering each plant. ✅ The chance to experiment with “precision irrigation” in future grows. What NOT to Expect (yet): ❌ Fully automated feeding schedules. ❌ Perfect calibration out of the box (it takes a few runs to dial flow rate for each pot). ❌ A substitute for plant observation—eyes on the canopy are still the most important tool. Educational takeaway: Drip systems are bridges between hand-watering and full automation. They give growers consistency without completely removing the grower’s role. For many, this is the sweet spot—technology supporting, not replacing, the human touch. P.S. #2 – Pheno #1 vs. Pheno #2: Different Timelines Another important note this week: the two Mango Kush sisters are not in the exact same stage of flower. • Pheno #1 – More advanced. She is already in full flower mode, pistils bursting, bud sites defined, white hairs everywhere. This is the classic “week 3 flower look.” • Pheno #2 – Slower. She is not yet fully in flower. Why? Because she was germinated later and is effectively running a slightly younger internal clock—closer to 11–13 from seed. 👉 With the 11/13 light schedule (11 hours on, 13 off), Pheno #2 is taking her time to settle into bloom. This is not a problem, it’s genetics and timing. Each seed is unique, and sometimes phenos stagger into flower. What this means for the grow: • Don’t expect both plants to bulk at the same time. • Pheno #1 may finish earlier. • Pheno #2 could become the “late bloomer,” giving us a longer harvest window and potentially different terpene expression. Educational takeaway: Not all phenotypes follow the same timeline, even under identical conditions. One may stretch earlier, another may flower later. As growers, our role is to adapt and respect the individuality of each plant. 🌱 💚 Growers love to all 💚

Everything is going fine so far. And the smell is just amazing and the trichomes are growing good and allot. By the looks of it its all going how it supposed to grow. I started this week with lowering the nutrients from 4 ml to 3 ml. Upcoming week I will start to flush till harvest time. Oh yeah can't wait to taste and get high from my own grow. 😍😀

Hello again and welcome to week 5, the beginning of true flower! Ahsoka (her star wars name) is doing awesome with LST. Last week we tied down her main cola but this week her branches were long enough to Tie most of them down to. I will leaf tuck everyday to keep light on the budsites. Ashoka has finally hardened off properly and I moved her to the big tent since she is also in flower. She is under The Optic 8+ we still haven't had to feed any nutrients yet 🤞 but are giving real growers recharge as a microbial. As you can see her roots have just exploded with growth. Love this opaque container deal! Day 50 from reciving my seeds and equipment and day 46 since I put her into Coco: 25/Oct/2018: She is doing so well and is in her first week of flowering! I saw massive differences and a boost in her budding thanks to Canna PK 13/14 and for those that suggested I start using it (I started at 0.5ml per L, 3 days ago). Her roots seem to be doing very well (I see fuzz of healthy fungus and microbes on the roots when they sprout out of the fabric pot! Please send any suggestions on my use of nutrients!

The girls are doing great! They are getting bushier by the day, I don’t want to stress her much by defoliation so I’m doing a good amount of leaf tucking and only removing lower yellowing leaves that were ready to fall off on their own. The medium from Miller’s Soils has been extremely well balanced throughout the grow. I only dealt with a small amount of nute burn in the beginning but they quickly used those preloaded nutrients to their advantage. They responded well to their Bloom feeding so I will continue to up the dosage as time goes on. So far she isn’t showing any signs of deficiencies or excesses in nutes so I’m treading lightly with the feed schedule.

Here's some pictures of late week 1 into week 2. They are still all in their solo cups. In the future, we'll try to label them in the soil so the pictures will show which seed is which. For now, the names are written on the sides of each cup - just can't see that from the pics. TOTAL = 6 cups, all different seeds. Here's the list of seeds that have remained since we started: - Rubber Match by Secret Society Seed Co (regular seed)* x1 (down from 2) status: first seed just didn't pop and never started growing. 2nd seed is doing fine. :) - Something Good by Twenty20 Mendocino (feminized) x1 status: doing fine. - Acapulco Gold by Barney's Farm (feminized) x1 status: doing fine. - Purple Lemonade by FastBuds (Auto) x1 status: doing fine. - Skywalker by NASC (feminized) x1 status: doing fine. - ADDED: Glue Sniffer by Twenty20 Mendocino (feminized) x1 status: started 1x Glue Sniffer, and it is doing fine. (germination week 1 in paper towel) BONUS!!! We found some more NASC freebies!! We have 3x of the Blueberry Cupcake x MAC1 by Humboldt pheno and Girl Scout Cookies (feminized) by NASC. So, we might start one of those if space permits. To conclude week1, the current sprouts are growing in their cups. They are all looking comfortable and are reaching for the wonderful, southern sunlight. We're looking forward to the next weeks of vegetation and eventually transferring them into larger pots in a few more weeks time - all while we wait for some more warmer days ahead. One thing we noticed is that they seem to do much of their growing overnight! But maybe it's because we aren't looking at them as much LOL

📅 Week 9 (Days 56–62) 🌸 Mid-Flower | Bud Development | Nutrient Monitoring This week saw a clear ramp-up in flower density. The buds have begun to take on noticeable weight, with trichome coverage increasing steadily — not just on the sugar leaves, but now crawling onto small calyx fans. There’s a tangible stickiness to the upper canopy, and the diesel/cardamom/citrus terp profile has deepened. Aroma is more persistent after lights-on, lingering even after ventilation. Leaf health has required a watchful eye. The lower fans have continued to yellow and were removed incrementally. Nothing alarming yet - mostly older leaves giving up their stores. But toward the end of the week, I spotted some yellowing beginning to creep into mid-canopy areas. No burn, no twist - just fading. I’ve continued feeding - full strength Advanced Nutrients this week, including one adjusted dose focusing only on Grow (3.5 mL in 2L) to boost nitrogen in response to the yellowing. Watered with 2L at pH 6.4. No runoff, but weight and hydration have been monitored closely. Still a slight risk of earlier shallow root development limiting uptake, but the plant is holding its posture. One environmental slip-up: I noticed the leaf edges starting to taco slightly mid-week. Tracked it down to the humidifier being off. Once re-enabled, RH returned to 50–55%, and the issue self-corrected. No further signs of VPD stress. Trichomes: Still mostly clear with very few cloudy. No amber in sight. Maturity is progressing slowly - right on pace for a post-vacation harvest. Action points: – Continue feeding through Week 10 – Monitor yellowing mid-canopy - may respond with another Grow-only supplement if it progresses – Keep RH stable with the new humidifier – Macro checks every few days to watch for trichome shift 🗓️ Overall: A stable week with increasing density and trichome output. Aroma building. No rush yet — plant is following a long, even curve into maturity. Feeding schedule holds, with my daughter planned to feed once or twice while I’m away, then transition to water only.

Hi there, Here we go with the 4th week of veg. As soon as they woke up from the stress of the transplant, they were given another dose of training session . We topped them on the first day of the week. Not yet, but two days later we removed 4-4 large fan leaves each and it became clear how much the lower branches of Marshmallow OG didn’t develop in the shade. I already had the feeling that this variety was not genetically stable. These shots looked quite mutant. They seem to adapt more slowly to the hard plant trainings I use most of the time. On this day we also bent the branches with a tent hook to allow better light penetration to the lower parts.👨🏻‍🌾🌱 They show quite strong indica characteristics at this early stage of the vegetation which is also clearly visible in the shape of the leaves. It is possible that the planned 6-week veg won’t be enough, as they need much more time to regenerate than most varieties I’ve grown so far. Never mind, maybe even this way the possibility of a harvest before Easter can be maintained. After the hard training session they got only half dosage of nuts as they lost a lot of foliage. On the last day of the week watered them again with full dosage. 💦 All in all, they seem healthy but not very happy. I'm adjusting to them a bit and hopefully we'll be just fine for next week. Running the Ts3000 on 65% 42 cm above the canopy which means 450-480 ppfd. 💡🌞 Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Day 49 - lookin good..... been bending her, trimmin abit, messin with the water solution..... ph and ppm have been all over the place..... lol she's been transitioning from grow to flower, and once she settles into night mode, the solution and growing should stabilize...... the new fan is cool... tents working properly now, neg pressure, drawing in air behind the floor fan, blown around the bottom, and cpu extractor fan pushing the air out the top of the tent, straight into the filter..... really nice way to run a little tent, low airflow........ keeps the impurities out of the buds..... the stalks have all tuffened up since trimmin, and pretty strong now.... should hold the full weight that's about to occur all over the place...... i've simplified the nutrients, they were gettin alittle confusing, so started doin nuets differently, .... so, just making my own nuet solutions, nothing fancy just base amount of normal elements .... should be a pretty good christmas ...... Buds stopped to grow up and start to bulk up, so I've given pk 13/14 this week. I've given this week, Water + rqs bloom tabs 2.25l Water + rqs bloom tabs + sugar royal 2.25l Water + pk 13/14 2.25l Again a couple of weeks.. Buds a bulking up, getting sticky, frosty and stanky!! Do-si-dos is a bit behind the other ladies as this strain will take an extra week to finish, but she's also packing on size, frost and stickyness. Es el resultado del cruce de 2 variedades me gustan bastante, por lo que se imaginarán lo expectante que estaba por este nuevo ciclo. Me gustó y disfruté mucho viendo el desarrollo de esta planta, esta vez no quise entrenarla (LST, topping) para ver como se desarrollaba y la verdad no me decepcionó, quizás hubiera esperado más producción pero sin duda que la calidad de las flores vale totalmente la pena en desmedro del rendimiento. Flores compactas y poco aireadas completamente repleta de resina dulce y muy frutal. Totalmente recomendable para los que disfrutan de humos dulces, frutales, cremosos y con notas a frutos secos, ¡un lujo! Gracias a Sweet Seeds por darme la oportunidad de cultivar estas 3 novedades que la verdad son unas maravillas que sin duda volveré a cultivar. Será hasta la próxima, buenos humos!

Now that I see how these girls turned out it was probably a blessing I had some herms to cut out because there would’ve been no room. Especially in the pc/ssh tent because Pcrit and Sundae Driver were looking to be the biggest plants before I found balls and cut them down. The humidity has been surprisingly high but we’ve had warmer, wet weather for this time of year. I’m not sure I would’ve been able to keep it down with a tent packed wall to wall. I’m just thankful for how everything has worked out. If I ever do two plants per earthbound again I’ll make sure to veg for less time. I’m hoping to give these girls another week but the weather once again is going to be warm and wet so I will probably need to cut them down

They're settling in to the pots nicely and the flower tent is about to be cleared out. Need to do some work around the tent before I can move them should be a week or 2.

So I planted this girl 2 weeks after my first grow but instead I put this in the garden just to see if it would do any good outside.. it’s done so much better then I ever thought it would with very little care, not been fed that often and sometimes just left to rainfall. I even took it out of the flower bed and potted it during early flower and still she kept going just fine :) bonus plant
