Week 5: Vegetative Growth Not much has happened this week, but it’s growing steadily and has turned a beautiful, rich green🌱. Since the sun only shines on my balcony until 2 p.m., it’s all the more tragic that it isn’t shining at all right now. 😅 It shouldn’t be long before it enters the flowering phase and hopefully takes a big step forward.🌸⬆️ Two leaves are deformed… and look very interesting 😁.

This was their last week! They had 4 full water feeds till runoff, and the trichomes we’re looking just right by Thursday (day 67). Throughout the week I had been increasing the light intensity and ended up running at 95% of what the SF4000 can do. I have stopped doing the 48 hours of darkness awhile back, so Harvest to come! Las raíces se mantienen blancas y activas, con buena colonización del sustrato y absorción uniforme. Las plantas consolidan el estiramiento, mostrando ya preflores claras y una estructura más definida. El verde lima se va equilibrando hacia un tono más sano, manteniendo buena turgencia y orientación hacia la luz. Tuvimos unos días apurados por la aparición de unos pequeños bichos que solucionamos con una fumigacion con tierra de diatomeas y con la potente abamectina, subimos un poco más las nemesis y ahí van estupendamente

Welcome to 📅 Day 22 of veg 4/5/2021 and boy am I happy with the growth on the girl under the MH TS1000 she is growing fast and strong and that's just what I want to see later today I will be mixing a new batch of nutes but that's about it Update 📅 Day 25 of veg 4/8/2021 she is still growing very fast under the TS 1000. I have done some more LST as she grows. I have noticed some problems in the leaves but it is very little and I hope it will not get worse only time will tell. Zake stark überdüngt alle anderen leicht, Bat Guano von plagron zum ersten Mal während der vegi verwendet war anscheind Zuviel Phosphor für die kleinen, da es der Guano der Obst fressenden Fledermäuse ist und somit mehr PK haltig. Stark überdüngte Zake wurde gespült mit dem 3 fachen des Topfvolumens, die anderen wurden erstmal weiter beobachtet

The plant has entered the strech period and is growing at quite a pace. I continue with LST to try and open the plant up, removing leaves that are blocking light from flowering sites. I've added some Canna PK13/14 to the feed ready for when the flowers start to bulk up.

Today 23/07/22 We are two days into week 5, never talked about nutrient or water’ problems I had some leaves with few yellow marks but very small one beside that I always saw my plants green and happy, here you can see the scrog I set up yesterday not sure if this will work better but I think will help the branches grow further from the others increasing the light they riceve! I made it myself I will order one for the next grown when I will get my grow box! The watermelon is already flowering but the northern light no so today I started feeding the plants with different preparations.. I kept on giving the grow booster with a bit of bloom booster and viceversa for the watermelon! If you have any tips anything you think I’m doing wrong or you see it’s not ok let me know I don’t grow in a box I grow between the curtains and my window so the environment wasn’t always the perfect one

This was another very good week for the plants, with the flowers beginning to swell up and take shape. Some of the lower leaves are starting to yellow, but this is expected. As the light doesn't penetrate as far, the plant will begin to 'consume' those leaves and drop them to redirect energy to the tops. The canopy is fairly even apart from 1 small spot, which does not have any colas at all. This is due to me bending away the GSC that was topped, with the intention of the lower branches stretching up. This happened with all the other plants I did it to, but not this one for some reason. I think it was due to airflow around the budsites so I added an extra fan last week to hopefully improve this. The strongest looking plants by far are still the ones that were Topped with LST, followed by the mainlined, with only LST in last place. I have found that the LST only ones do not have stems as thick as the others, so this may impact yield later. Not much done in the way of training apart from the odd leaf bending or stem tying. The next few weeks will most likely be fairly uneventful, as now we just need to wait for them to flower fully :D

The plant rose above the ground on the 24.6., this is Time Lapse ends on the 13th day of vefetation. I started the grow in my old cupboard grow sed up. I opted to upgrade the the Home Box Q80+ in the coming week. As i was using the Pro Mix i dont need to ad any nutrients for about 4 Weeks. Therefore for now I am only monitoring the amount of water i give them. As I decided to give Air Pots a try for this grow, I am intersted to see how much i can water, relative to my previouse grow with a fabric pot.

Fed all four twice with half a gallon nute water, PH 6.3, day 43 and 49. Video and photos from day 50.
