Here comes the first Preflower Update

Hi all What a great week it has been for the Zammi girls this week. I flipped them to flowering two days after my last entry. They had reached a good point for my space to make sure that I have the airflow and light coverage to endure the mains could all benefit. The results of the H.s.t/Quad training has been successful and I now have multi merristems ( mains) of equal position . This will now hopefully feed them all the benefits that the main usually gets and ensure lots of chunky colas with very little popcorn to waste energy on. Bruce Banner #3 is performing brilliantly. I did lose the snapped and repaired f.i.m but the crown of mains ( 8) and the single one left in the middle will be a great foundation for the next stage of their life. This lady has not missed a beat from the Germination and is showing the breeding experience that has produced it too. No signs of any issues at all so far. Candy Rain although a lot smaller than her cousins from Zammi is beginning to catch up very nicely with 4 very chunky looking mains forming. The last next week of stretch should give her a very nice shape and structural strength for some fat colas too. Her colour and vigour is excellent and the rips are putting out so e very nice energy too. Jealousy #1 is really enjoying the chance to push as many of her branches to light as possible with the opening up of her natural growing structure. Plenty of in-fighti g to be the main stem which is a benefit and her overall size and appearance is excellent. #2 has really been a shock with the size of some of her fan leaves ( see pic) She has a few huge I es that will be grabbing so many lumens to convert that I will be sad to defoliate them . She is really fighting to impress over her sister it seems and her overall size is just a little smaller than #1. They have plenty of lower stem growth with fairly short node lengths that will form up to make some very long thick colas hopefully. Seeing how well these girls have filled the space and the nice even canopy that is still uniform after a weeks stretch , I think I will need to defoliate at day 21 of flowering to make sure they don't get too close together and stop the cool fresh air from circulating through them all. We are just warming up in the UK so I thinkni will need to also keep check on room temps and humidity more now too. Everything going great. Five plants all female. But they should be with feminized seeds. No issues or problems. Just the slow wait.

Well, it's been three weeks since the last visit to the site, and I have to say that the girls have grown significantly in size! Defoliation has proven beneficial for them! It's also clear how well Plagron bat guano is working. As you can see, the plants have already begun to flower and gain mass. I want to note that the Fast Version from Sweet Seeds really started flowering earlier than the regular versions, giving me a two-week head start. This gives hope to avoid mold during harvest. Overall, I am very pleased! I'm considering adding Bud Candy from Advanced Nutrients to enhance sugar production in the flowers and make them taste better!

1 day of 9 flowering week: They look nice even with 3 weeks calcium deficiency and still swelling. I only water these plant with water ;). In one of the Hulks a blueberry breaks through i see on the leafs. Smell is really strong, thick and rich in terps. 3 day of 9 flowering week: Going to mature, dying very rough 7 day of 9 flowering week: One SB is out, next day is last of their lives, next week: Harvest!

All doing well added a bigger dehumidifier on day 68. Fed them day 68 will be last feeding for Banana #1 her trichomes are clear nearing cloudy.

Week 6 of growth was another bumpy ride. Temperatures climbed up to 27–30 °C (Celsius), which is definitely on the hot side, and humidity sometimes dropped as low as 40–45%. That combo put some serious stress on the plant. To fix it, I made a simple but effective move: I turned off the exhaust fan. Right away, humidity went up to about 70%, and the plant clearly started looking more comfortable. She seems to be handling these new conditions much better. I did make a mistake this week, though. Wanting to push growth a little too fast, I cranked up the light intensity too quickly, jumping from 300 to nearly 600 PPFD. With humidity already so low, that sudden boost dried the plant out. She definitely felt it, but I caught it in time, adjusted back, and now she’s recovering well. A bit of lost time, but nothing dramatic. The real highlight of the week has to be the Athena nutrients. The pH stayed locked at 6.1 from start to finish, without moving at all. I really appreciate that kind of stability, and I’m excited to see how it will impact the plant’s health and growth over the next few weeks.

Starting the week with PH water and calimagic. Fed and defoliated this week.

This drought is wild, 300mm rain deficit around the island. Hot, dry, no clouds or rain in sight for the next month. While this is awful for everything else, this gal is living life to the fullest. Irrigation up to 3hr of drip every 5 days and that is it for this week. Still amazed by the water retention with this Hugel. Whats everyones thoughts on defoliation outdoors? I've kept it fairly light this year, loving the shape, and while canopy looks bushy from front, it's quite clean inside. My topping from 2 weeks ago is barely noticeable, this stretch coming into flowering will easily get her past 9 feet. The combined fimming and topping has really helped this shape. Rain at the end of the season is always a problem, smaller buds is more desirable to me. Nearly always use my herb to make FECO for Gummies, so small is better. I've ran a major support pole through the middle, and I end up using string to internally support all the branches to the center post. Gives me much better control over shape and support. I don't have a ton of room for a trellis so this is easier.

07.11 New flower week is here, for now all going good, still cant wait to see final product and how big and tick buds can be, but ride is joyfull and exciding. Watering 1.3 l all 3 with nutrients and cal-mag, ph 6.2-6.5( i got ph meter without calibration fluid) but how much time i did mesuring i know how big ph is after i get water from tap [7.5-7.9(did mesuring 120 times minimum, before nutrients, after nutrients and after i add down if i need)] and yea, dont see much differnts on plants in few days without ph meter, but he is here in case, better check up,air flow is good , humidity good(above light zone 45-55%, down by plants 55-65%) and temp day 25°-27°,night 18°-24°. I adjust pots every day 2 times minimum so every side get some correct light in all parts( maybe silly but i think its not anything bad to keep every side in some parts of day better lighted).
