Week 11 Veg - Mentha de Croco Mutants Hello, Grow Diaries fam! 🌱✨ This week’s update is all about setting up for the big transition—we’re finally flipping these beauties into flower! But before we do, I took some important steps to ensure a smooth transition. Defoliation & Why It Matters Before Flower Before the flip, I gave them a thorough defoliation, clearing out lower and overcrowded leaves. Why? Because: More Light Penetration – Helps lower bud sites develop properly. Better Airflow – Reduces humidity buildup and risk of mold. Focused Energy – Encourages the plant to put energy into strong bud production instead of unnecessary foliage. Of course, balance is key—I trimmed enough to open things up but left plenty for healthy growth. Final Pre-Flip Routine • Temps & RH: Holding steady at 22°C with 66% RH, keeping conditions ideal before flower. • 💧 Nutrients: Running the Aptus Holland Clean Feeding Approach with: • Regulator for plant resilience. • RO Water Conditioner to balance pH and improve uptake. • System Clean, even though I’m not using a hydro system, to keep the root zone optimal. • All-in-One Liquid, which is now the primary nutrient source. • 🔄 Watering: Still bottom-watering to keep gnats away and encourage strong root growth. 36-48 Hours of Darkness Before the Flip Before switching the room to 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness, I’ll be giving them a 36-48 hour dark period. This technique helps signal the plants that it’s time to transition, leading to a faster and stronger flower initiation. Photography & Details Of course, my Sony A6000 was in action, capturing all the unique traits of these mutants after defoliation. The plants are looking good and are drinking around 0.5l a day of ph6.0 water and are now getting BioCanna Veg, around 3 drops from a tablespoon to sart with. Helaas niet veel te vertellen, de tent blijft gewoon op juiste temperatuur, de ventilator blaast en de lamp is een kanon op 40%, elke week zal ik deze opvoeren tot ze in week 5 100% is.

Well unfortunately mistakes were made. I didn't release the lst tie downs over time as she grew. So I end up finding the stress spilt the main stem in half right down middle so I used the ties down ties and tied it together and undid all lst tie downs. When I resumed lst training I used lst clips and don't use tie downs anymore. 6/25 Raised light from 18 to 20 Added water, Ph Found main stalk was splitting so undid all lst tie downs and taped together 6/26 Added water, ph 6/27 Lst with lst clips instead Raised light to 24" Turned light intensity to 100% Added 5ml cal mag 6/28 6/29 Added 1.6L, 3ml cal mag, 8ml hydroguard 6/30 7/1 nutrients 3/4 Bloom 3gal = 11.3L Micro 0.75/L=6.4ml Gro 0.75/L=6.4ml Bloom 1/L=8.5ml Cal mag 1.5/L=17ml Bud candy 1.5L=17ml Big bud 1.5/L=17ml Hydroguard 2/gal =6ml Raised light 7/2 lst, added water

Day 70 Bloom time checking trikes. Clear but think and long. Good head forming on trikes. I'll try to take some pics. Check em out. Day 71 Bloom. Day 72 Watered them because the pot seemed light. I also upgraded my grow room with a sensor that records humidity and temperature 24 hours a day and uploads it to my phone to see high low or potential problems. I checked the trichomes with a Jeweler's loupe in my microscope and they're still clear possibly turning cloudy. Maybe 10% cloudy Day 73 Same for trikes at day 72. The plant in the front left looks like she's suffering from some deficiency. So I'm going to give her some spot treatments of some quick nutrients. Day 74 I hope I don't burn her. But I feel I need more than a micro dose. Friend dropped off some Overdrive. I'm gonna dose them tonight. I keep thinking of the song should I cut or Let It Grow. If no cut tomorrow maybe double should I cut or Let It Grow now. LOL can you get the song Day 75 Bloom plants not showing signs of stress from feeding. Gonna hold off on pics for a few days to show a greater change. Day 76 The plant is showing nanners so I'm pulling her from the grow tent for 48 hours of Darkness then I'm cultivating her. The other plants are still fattening their buds with white stigmas so I'm going to let them go a few more days.

Great week. Leaves are growing in with beautiful symmetry. Day 15 - fed 1 cup of straight H20 with a pH of 6. Day 17 - Adjusted the fans, as humidity was getting a bit high. On my last grow, I didn't get the exhaust fan until halfway through. It's a dream having the ability to controll my environment at this stage. Day 20 - Fed 1 cup of nutrient solution. Ph:5.8/PPM:500/Temp:21C Day 21 - Sweet Tooth is looking beautiful. Over the week, she grew from 2" to 4" and seems to be holding up to the nutrients well. Next week, I'm expecting big growth, and I will start tying down for some LST. I expect the light will become too much soon, as it is getting closer by the day, so I will also consider dropping the plant off the milkcrate soon and putting her on the floor. End of week 3! 2018-03-20 Week 12 Day 1 New week and not much to say. No water or nutes today, just the regular weekly check to see that they look nice and healthy. Raised the lamp about 10 cm to make sure that the girls don't get burned again. Crazy Cookies nr1 is 52 cm Crazy Cookies nr2 is 49 cm ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Strain information: The word synergy is a business term first quoted in the early eighties to describe mutual enhancement through interaction or cooperation, where the end result gained is greater than the sum of the parts used. What do synergy and the Crazy Cookies cannabis strain have to do with each other you may well ask? The parents of the forthrightly indica Crazy Cookies are marijuana royalty. OG Kush and Girl Scout Cookies. These strains of contemporary legend have been combined to cerebrum shattering effect. The cured flowers deliver a mouth-watering and couchlocking 24% THC. The initial delectable spacey upbeat onrush compliments of the Durban Poison coursing through the genes of the Cookies soon becomes a lush and rich, inescapably delicious body flux. There should be a picture of a Crazy Cookie nugget in the dictionary next to the word synergy. Crossing the OG back into the Cookies has amplified the psychoactive effects of the notorious lineage of both parents. This is an indica with a capital I. As a breeder it would be fair to assume that injecting more OG into the Cookies would result in an OG-dominant Cookie, or even close to a pure OG, but something else has happened. Some long dormant genetic switch has been flipped and a standalone indica has emerged whose spicy notes and earthy tones, hints of grape and horny pheromone are an absolute pleasure. Paying this breed some careful attention as it grows will reward you substantially, indoors or out. Typical hybrid vigour is shown throughout each grow phase. Stout plants to 80cm can be expected indoors and muscular examples with fluted stalks growing to two metres can be easily achieved outdoors. Good bracing is necessary as the flowers mature. I grew in cold , the max temperature was 20 celcius day and 14 at night.

The grow was good, we messed up a few times such as cutting one of the bud sites of Plant A when training but it ended up healing, and cutting off completely the main bud of Plant R which made it produce a lot of trichomes probably to try to survive. We struggled in the beginning with humidity because we did not have a humidifier but the girls were very resistant to the heat and low humidity and their growth was not stunted. I was surprised by how small their roots were in the end which is maybe why they were both quite small. Other than that it was quite easy to grow them and the end result was good so very happy with the grow!

After seeing more serious grows have issues will flipping buds I trellis’ed. Happy to fill out the screen but I had crawling to feed starting this early

Lots of work this week on keeping up on training this week, buts it’s going well! I split a fork when tying her down but the duct tape fix worked great and she didn’t exhibit any stress from it surprisingly :) Each day I tighten the bindings and then defoliate about every other or 3rd day. I keep doing 2 feeds to 1 yucca flush. She now uses 3 gallons to get my saturation and 20% runoff, about every 3 days. When I yucca flush I also foliar feed her to keep things flowing, roughly 1/8-1/4 strength of my food dosage. Foliar feed mix is yucca, kelp, fulvic acid, 1-0-0 Calmag+, and a 14-0-0 ominA. And I fed that every day for 3 days until I watered her again :) Interestingly, 3 days in a row just barely began to give her N toxicity by causing a slight clawing of the mature fan leaves, but no burn in the tip, and day 4 she was flat out again :) so it was right at the edge of useable nutrients IMO. The netting is coming along nicely, lots of weaving going on, refilling the center and spreading the mains out to the corners of the tent. Tried 2 different cloning techniques, one placing them into the peat pellets from Walmart with rooting powder, and the other is a Tupperware container filled with a PH’d weak nutrient solution, and sticking the stalks through the lid into the water. Both techniques have produced roots, peat took longer but are stronger specimens. Tupperware seemed to shock them less but roots are tiny little nodules. In my opinion it's last week for Girl Scout Cookies Auto and for Power Plant Auto tilll harvest, how do you think?? Vanilla Latte Auto is on it's 3rd week of flowering period and is very strong and beautifull plant

Went away for 4 days so I watered them gently before I left. Because I'm using a cheap fan to input air in the closet some mold has appeared on the soil, but it was easy to remove with a spoon.

They are all showing preflower and chugging along nicely.

Week 5 Day 28 to 35 Faster and faster they happily grow! Only the black berry showed me coupe of spots on some couple of leafs but nothing serious.

it has grown wonderfully in the last few weeks. it is becoming beautifully bushy, just as i had planned. i will also switch back to the biobizz grow fertiliser for it. the fish mix attracts too many flies and other insects. she tolerated the FIMing very well.
