used flawless finish the last week

3/03/2021 - Seeds arrived - I let one seed soak in distilled water for 12 hours. Room temperature. The other seed will go straight into a moist paper towel tomorrow. 3/04/2021 - After 12 hours of soaking I moved the seed to a moist paper towel and put in a ziploc bag. I also started another Seedsman Blueberry seed (didn’t soak it as an experiment). I put the ziploc bags in a warm dark spot. I will check it in 24 hours. 3/5/2021 - The seed I let soak for 12 hours has started to root. I’m going to let the tap root get a little bigger before I transfer it to a rock wool cube. I will check the seeds in 6 hours. Well 6 hours later the non soaked seed broke open and exposed a small tap root. Tomorrow they should be ready for rock wool cubes. 3/6/2021 - Moved the seeds to rock wool cubes. We observed that the seed that did not soak, rather just placed into moist paper towels, had the first sprout. We made sure to put root down first with spout over the top of the rock wool. 3/7/2021 - Both seeds have sprouted and are in the humidity dome. They will continue to grow until I see roots. 3/8/2021 - The sprouts look great! We will let them grow until roots appear from the bottom of the cubes. The 3rd cube in the dome is another Seedsman Blueberry we will be growing as a mother plant for clones. 3/9/2021 - Not really much to report. They seem to have stopped stretching and are taking shape nicely. I will continue to keep them in the humidity dome until they root out of the bottom. 3/10/2021 - Today all 3 seedlings had roots showing in the rock wool. I transplanted each one into solo cups filled with Fox Farm Happy Frog. I noticed the cubes were soaked and over watered. The soil will dry it out and I will start feeding them Fox Farm Big Bloom.

Last week it was time to harvest Jack Herer Auto - the number of amber trichomes was getting too high for my taste. Unfortunately my chronic illness flared up massively, making it very difficult to get the harvest done in time. After everything was done and the last bud chopped down, I switched off the camera that I quickly threw on the tripod to film the defoliation and harvest, I realized, I have completely forgotten to take any before photos. So, there aren't any. All you get is 2 videos and two photos post harvest. There might be some additional photos and videos when trimming the buds and some of the grove bags for curing. Other than that, Jack Herer grew tall and beautiful, sativa dominant in structure, with plenty of bud sites, trichomes and terpenes - but the buds ended up being quite airy, larfy. Not sure if that's due to the heat wave and higher temps before that. It's not the end of the world either, the buds are super sticky, they smell absolutely delicious, and I'm sure they'll be very tasty.

I wanted to see if Hortilux bulbs make that much of a difference over vivosun bulbs so I put one of each bulb in my reflectors and within the first two weeks the difference is astounding. The hortilux side is 15-20% bigger with much thicker stems. Other than humidity being hard to control with my 45 pint a day dehumidifier in the tent, everything is going as well as I hoped.

High GD community, I cant believe its 3 weeks since ive started this grow. Time flies!!! The lights are only 3 days in a better position. First it was tight up to the roof, now ive changed that so i can easely change height. I also only use 190w of the 320 available. So they still need to adapt to the new settings. Ive thrown some alpha alpha seeds in there and allready some not composted tomato seedlings start to pop up. They are still in their first pots of 2l, because rooting is not yet to the bottom. But they are standing on their future housing. I have to say, im quite pleased with how the soil looks. Theres not to much big pieces of uncomposted materials. The buds were big and dense, had to harvest a little early because of PM. It’s a great daytime high for getting things done or just forgetting the world for a few hours. I’ve already used the sugar leafs to make some MCT infused oil and it’s awesome, at least a 6 hour min body high. BTW, I don’t measure wet weight as I don’t see the point, I wet trim anyhow.

Smell is sweet and fruity, but dark...... Starting to pack in on , buds are so dense

It's been a couple weeks. I wasn't home at all last week most of this week up until 2 days ago. Everything was going well there seemed to be a calcium deficiency I gave some wca, with some cytoplus. Had some issues with the person watering my plants. So they went through a dry period and a super heavy watering. Feel free to offer me tips and advice!

Hello everyone, This week i decided to remove the peyote cookies from the dwc system because the roots kept dying and so i decided to translate her to coco soil. I will start again after the summer with 2 dwc buckets for now i gonna continue with one, yesterday i changed the air pump to a stronger version because the spider farmer pump is way to loud and weak with the airflow. The amnesia fast bounced back but i see the roots showing a brown color again i hope after the air pump change this will stop i will also stop adding canna rhizotonic to the water to make sure only minerals are in the water. For the peyote cookies i gonna start a new diary. Tomorrow i will update my other diary that grow is doing great. Thanks for stopping by and have a nice week.
