Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Purple Punch X Do-si-dos is coming to an end and Zombie Kush will soon be smelling of flowers with a hint of lavender, two Strawberry Bananas are hopefully running out and the third Strawberry Banana is developing beautifully. Alright! This week is finally done and this will be the last vegetative growth week for the plants. Switching to flower tonight :D I have done some defoliation and a bit of lollipopping to the 3 plants, I was noticing the shadows where quite dark on the tent floor and the plants where not crazy tall so they needed to be managed, If I was outdoors I would just LST them some more and not worry about any of it but indoors the airflow is tight and it was needed, cleaning up the undercanopy was none negotiable or some bad things would have happened in flower. Mainly molds or worse WPM. I also removed the string supports I has on the plants when they broke from some LST I did a few weeks ago. In the stripping down of the plants I removed a lot of lower immature growths and took out some immature branches, I have all these sitting in a glass of water and will clone them out for shits and giggles, I think their is about 15 of them or more, maybe I will go and plant them aorund my neighbourhood in municipal planters. Plus now I can work in the topdressings that will be required in the upcoming weeks to keep these plants happy and healthy. Going to continue amending in some of the bokashi in the feedings as well as worm castings as they give off a nice ammount of microbes for the soil. I wish I had some of my LABs for this grow but I did not make any. The clones from before are doing fine, just did not take any pics of them. The butterwort is doing a fantastic job of eating up the gnats. I have some nematodes on hand for when its had its fill as I won't want them getting into the flowers as they ripening. They get a 100 ml every 5 days. I'm going to keep giving 100ml per plant untill they need it every other day. Day 26 I removed the first 2 nodes so the plants can focus on the top growth.

Ice Bomb grew well under the Unit Farm UF4000, and UF2000 that was added in flowering. She was 1 of 5 in a group grow under the lights. She got nice and frosty. Smells like strawberries 🍓 to me anyway. She is suppose to be a good medical cannabis so curious to the smoke report when I get there. Day 24-31 (Day 25) The smell in here is absolutely ridiculous. My last grow didn’t smell even close to this bad in early flower. (Day 27) Stretch is finally all done. #6 in the back is very stout and barely stretched compared to everything else. I doubt it will yield much but I’m excited to see the nice tight colas on it. It seems to be still getting adequate light and raising it up is hard to do with a scrog net so I will just leave it. If it wasn’t getting enough light it would be stretching right? The early frost is really shocking to me. My last indoor round definitely wasn’t this caked and I’ve never had an outdoor plant on this level either. That’s also true in terms of smell too. (Day 29) I’m still debating whether I should feed anything in flower or just leave it. The only deficiency I’m seeing is purple stems from P def which could actually just be from light intensity rather than a lack of P. I’ve done some thinking and I’ve decided to only feed my small plant. What I’m most curious about is if a PK boost will actually make any kind of a difference in flower when it comes to bud size and smokability. So to test this theory I will be top dressing a teaspoon of 0-18-0 bat guano, a tablespoon of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and a half strength watering of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m trying to avoid N all together as I just toxed my guinea pig plants with another experimental flowering PK boost that had a very small amount of N in it. This plant in particular actually has very early signs of N def and probably will fade harder than the rest. (Day 31) Shit. Looks like #1 is starting to herm. It’s definitely not environment or light leaks so maybe it’s just genetic or the recent leaching stressed it out too much. Either way, it’s only a single lower branch and I’m prepared to cut her down if I start seeing anymore. I double checked every other budsite but couldn’t find anymore. In my experience true herms usually start pushing bananas out of the main tops and plants like mine can usually be salvaged with little to no seeded bud. But then again it’s day 31, when these things usually start to happen. I’m 50/50 on this one. I will be watching it everyday like a hawk if anymore show up. The breeder I’m using, ‘Jordan of the Island’s’ is notorious for having unstable genetics and this will be the last time I run any of his stuff. The quality is good, certainly better than most European and Dutch genetics I’ve run but I know I could do better where genetics are concerned. I can’t wait to start hunting my archive dosidos x gelato 41 and in house sugarcane.

My Soaptini plant is looking amazing! The leaves are a really vibrant green, and they have this cool, almost waxy texture that makes them look super healthy. It's growing nice and bushy, and I'm loving the overall shape. This one's definitely a showstopper, and I can't wait to see how it blooms. Stay tuned for more updates on this beauty! The weather has been absolutely gorgeous this past week! We've been hitting that sweet spot of 70 degrees during the day, perfect for getting outside and soaking up some sun. Then, it cools down to a comfy 50 degrees at night, which is ideal for sleeping with the windows open. I've been loving all the fresh air! I finally got around to building that little wooden planter for my windowsill. It was a fun project, and now my regular plants have a nice new home. It really brightens up the room, and I'm thinking of adding some herbs to it soon. Maybe I'll even try growing some basil!

June 28 - They are doing great, We switched to the recommended amount of nutrients for flowering, Also 2 air stones I ordered have come in so now those are on 24/7 with the nutrient water in a 5 gallon bucket. June 29 - Still just growing away, I am still feeding roughly 3L per plant of nutrient water every 24-36hr depending on how dry they feel. June 30 - Totally forgot to take pictures/videos today. I gave them there daily watering and they are still just growing away. They are in flower now I believe! July 1 - Awesome to see this amount of progression. Tons of hairs and a decently even canopy. There is a small smell coming from in the room! July 2 - Again I forgot to take pictures, But as always they are still just growing away. so far so good! July 3 - Tons of growth and they are starting to become uneven. I don't have a ton of time so I think I will leave them for another week before doing some LST or HST. Tons of colas forming, lots of hairs and they are starting to have a heavier smell! So far so good! July 4 - Same thing as yesterday, still growing away, Ive turned the lights up to 100% now and I have removed the SF-1000 as I needed it for another project! more liquid seaweed foliar spray and Silica. Pre flower has not started on this plant yet, prob due to the fact it was put out 2 week later than the rest which are in full pre flower. plant has grown a whopping 18" this week. Amazing!

Hello, friends! The week went well. On December 17, 2023, we switched the light to 12/12, and our girls are enjoying it, consuming a good 2000 ppm every day. I want to share that the clones are doing well too; they are two weeks old. Thanks to everyone for keeping track of our growth and leaving comments; it means a lot to me.

Radical defoliation this week to get all energy and light to the main nugs. Incorporated some Organic Molasses into the feed to sweeten and fatten up the buds. I'm definitely too close to the lights with this grow, they grew taller than i expected but i didn't top this grow, i wanted it to be more freestyle and natural but my small space (1mx1.2m) dictates otherwise, i will definitely be cropping, topping and mainlining in the next grow, one plant has passed the light and the last time i suppercropped i bust a branch that was irrepairable so i've left them to do their thing till harvest.

Nice plant. Lollipopping and defoliation is a must. Bring that energy up to the tops. She grows very compact with short internodes.
