These girls are doing well still. Responded well to their training and recovered from their topping. All is well and have watered twice in the last week.

The main Stem snaped on the QO whilst doing some LST but it seems to be healing quite well after I attached it back with some tape. I can already see pistils shooting out on both of the plants especially on the Quick One.

17.7 inches/week Usual summer week here in the south, every day above 86 ° F (max 100 ° F). By now the main cola is no longer dominant, my Gorilla is unstoppable , the youngest of the batch is grown almost 2 inches per day by drinking 2 gallons per day of spring water showing only few signs of heat stress. She's in full stretch and had fill every spaces with her thick branches. I fed her half the recommended dose of Biobizz Griw 'cause is too hot and don't want to burn her. I think we are 10 days before flowering. I covered her with a PVC net in order to give her a little shield from the sun and give me more privacy ;-)

Safe to say we're heading into flower. I'm pretty close to full strength on the nutrients at this point. Still defoliating and filling in the screen. Plant on the right is slightly behind as far as kicking into flower. Some yellowing browning just starting a tips. I'll change out the water tomorrow (on day 49). Averaging water changes every 12 days. Day 49: Did not change water today, will on day 52 or 53 instead. Decided it could just be the light being too close. Moved it up and did a little lst above the screen. All done removing branches and leaves. Great end to the first week of flower.

Well that wraps up the seed preservation run! It was a great learning experience as there were several major hurdles to get over the finish line, but nothing worthwhile comes easy. Day 61 for the autos two on the right are Tangie monkey and the two on the left Bananangie , both test strains from Island seedbank in Sicily. Just water this week , I think the first Tangie monkey is almost finished.

This plant is my first real plant because the first one had a genetic mutation coming from the seed because I gave it exactly the same conditions as this one and therefore I will consider this plant as my first plant. I am very proud of myself to have obtained such a yield (188g wet) with very few problems during the culture of this Steacky Beast Automatic from Zamnesia. This plant resisted very well to a nitrogen deficiency due to a too high ph because of my ph metter which was out of order but also to a small burn to the nutrient. I started rinsing on day 54 (it lasted 2 weeks and a half). I couldn't put you pictures of the trichomes but they were perfect for the harvest and the pistils were also matching so here is why I waited until day 73 The heads are hung in the culture box with brown soft ties (I removed everything except the extractor and the filter), the box is plunged in the dark so it's perfect for drying Thank you for your interest in my growing diary! strong and healthy cannabis, buds are turning pink

I feel like the overall cycle length of this is a lot longer than stated. They have been growing for nearly 15 weeks. I believe they could have done with an extra week but we needed the space to add other clones that were ready.

Mulberry Day 35 All is well. In stretch and transition to flower. She is a proud 28 inches tall. I tied her four bottom branches down to open her up some and get better airflow and light penetration. As an experiment I have only been removing the newly formed branches at her nodes and leaving the fan leaves alone. Seems to have an effect on branches being healthier! *** watered her last night with 1 tbsp each of coco bloom A&B.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!
