Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk update 5th Jan 2020 11th week of veg over and done with. Ive done quite a bit since the last update as far as this girl is concerned 1st of all i erected a greenhouse that covers all of my Photo period plants. and secondly I transplanted the Pineapple chunk out of the pot she was in and put her straight into the ground so I'm expecting and hoping that she will explode once the stretch starts in about 5 weeks or so. The soil I moved her into is really nice and fertile as it was used to grow winter vegetables and Broad beans. The growing of legumes can benefit the soil by bringing nitrogen to the surface to be made available to anything else growwing in the same soil. I gave the area I transplanted her into a good dose of Azospirillum and Mycorrhizal innoculants after she went into the ground. Thankyou for checking out my update see you next week 👍

Hello again, GrowDiaries family! 😎 We’ve officially entered Week 10 (4th week of flowering) and the Critical is truly showing her full potential. This week has been all about environmental management and keeping the plant’s metabolism at its peak despite the winter chill. 📏 Precision Measurements & Training -Height: Steady at 37 cm. Vertical growth has stopped as she focuses all her energy on flower production. -Canopy Management: The LST has done a great job. The canopy is perfectly flat, ensuring that every "pompom" gets the same light intensity. -Visual Check: I’ve taken the plant out of the tent for some photos under white light to show the real progress of the trichomes without the LED distortion. 🌡️ Environment & Climate Challenges -Temperature: We’ve faced some tricky nights at 12°C, reaching 27°C during the day. -The Strategy: To prevent the plant from stalling due to the cold nights, I’ve started watering with lukewarm water. This keeps the root zone active and ensures nutrients are still being absorbed effectively. -Humidity (RH): Stable at 40-45%, ideal for keeping the developing buds safe and dry. 💧 Watering & Organic Pest Control -Nutrient Strategy: Still going strong with the full Biobizz schedule (Bio-Grow 1ml, Bio-Bloom 2ml, and Top-Max 1ml) in 1L of water. She is responding beautifully with no signs of overfeeding. -The Cinnamon Trick: 🛡️ I noticed some fungus gnats last week, so I applied a generous layer of ground cinnamon on the soil surface. It’s an old-school, 100% organic remedy that acts as a natural fungicide. Result: The gnats are completely gone! 🌿 Flower & Resin Evolution -The sugar has arrived! ❄️ Resin is now heavily coating the sugar leaves and the buds are thickening up fast. Salut les Growmies, Quelle superbe aventure cette génétique de chez Exotic Seeds. Cette Zkittalicious depuis le debut m'étonne , de part sa grande vitalité .Malgré l attaque du caht , elle a reprise le dessus , elle a réagi merveilleusement bien a l entrainement que je lui ai fait subir ,LST ,Topping..... Et maintenant comme vous pouvez le voir elle développe de nombreux sites floraux et elle devient de jour en jour de plus en plus frosty. Donc en gros vous pouvez vous tourner vers Exotic Seed les yeux fermés et je lui donne une note de 9/10 pour sa vigueur, beauté, odeur pour la production on verra plus tard. Mais au vue des resultats mors de la phase croissance et debut de flo . Je m attend a de tres bons resultats 👍👍👍👍👍🤜🤛Merci Exotic Seeds.

My plants are going too yellow, now i pull back on the nutrients. I just gave them Water last feeding and will see how it will continue, They still need 2-3 weeks, Smell is getting stronger starting this week and they are a bit "snowing"

Very fun strain to grow. Easy to train and love to get big. We had 2 different expressions on the plants and both where very pleasing. Both plants grew vigorously and provided me with just over 3/4 pound of dry medicine!

So the story continues... this grow is really an experiment for me to train one plant within my 4'x2' grow space to ScrOG vertically and use the SP250 light on its side. For the majority of the vegetative stage the light will be hung normally above the plant until a week prior to flipping the light schedule and initiating flowering. The plant passed its seedling stage and has been vigorously growing albeit showing strong signs of over-watering and calcium deficiencies. It's really a transpiration issue which I have not solved yet. Increased distance to light as the plant may be growing too fast for its root mass. From feedback at Coco for Cannabis (CFC), it is a Cal deficiency and a young plant getting used to the grow in coco - quite common and not a sign of over-watering. Measuring run-off EC at each fertigation event as I increase the feed EC to monitor what the plant is doing/feeding. Fertigation is now maintained at twice a day (at lights on and 4hrs prior to lights off period) to maintain the target EC. Light period is during the night time to better maintain heat/humidity conditions during light off period (which happens during daytime). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The grow setup includes ; - Secret Jardin DS120W tent (120cm x 60cm x 180cm) placed inside the bedroom - Mars Hydro SP250 LED light - extraction fan - AC Infinity Cloudline T6 (gives me great control over the environment) - ventilation fans - aquarium heater for nutrients solution (for winter use only) - small oil heater (for winter use only) - small dehumidifier - 20L Airpots (as final pots) and 3.5L general plastic pots (for seedling stage) - Canna Coco substrate mixed with 40% perlite - GHE Flora Trio as base nutrients and various additives - pH and EC/TDS meters - 2x Govee Thermo/Hygro meters (one at canopy, the other at the roots level - these allow for external monitoring and recording) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some strain info from Royal Queen Seeds ; An amazing mix of genetics background - Its true genetics are unknown. Some say OG Kush is a mix of ChemDawg with a Lemon Thai and Pakistani Kush. Others say that it’s just a special cutting of ChemDawg from the early 90s. The most obvious trait of OG Kush is its strong, unique, very dank, slightly citrus aroma, almost like fuel or strong detergent. The flavour of OG Kush is equally as strong and dank, with a long-lasting aftertaste. Strong mental and physical high - OG Kush is an extremely strong cannabis strain, with most experienced smokers listing it as one of their favourites. The effect is as strong physically as it is mentally. Though its effect is like an Sativa, the strain's genetics are mostly Indica. The effect is as strong and complex as the flavour. OG Kush takes around 8 weeks to flower and on average the yield is 500 grams per plant. Big buds with lovely tones - OG Kush is known to stretch slightly during growth but soon starts to fill out during flowering. Generally, it will reach a height of 90 to 160 cm. Its buds are large and dense, lime green clusters covered with a large amount of resin.

Pretty good week for the stretching. Even thou my tank had some problems (I believe biobizz is not meant for tanks), the ladies are thriving. Changed to my trusted brand of base nutrients, green planet nutrients. This time trying medi one. Hope my grow shop will continue bringing green planet, it is a bummer they might stop importing it. Plant 4 accidental mainlining after breaking the two main tops training before switching to flower. I can see the how awesome is Sanlight led evo for this tent, ladies are all even and love the overall environment of the budbox and the lights. Noticing a huge difference in nutrient consumption compared with hps. Drinking way less. Overall excited and happy of this grow, couple of little problems trying organic base nutrients, but that’s how we learn, right?

Week 4: Looking good...

This is my last day before chop. Flushed for 2 weeks then 48 hours of total darkness. Really sweet sour aroma coming from the GG and a almost cookies smell coming from the gelato. Will let you know the full yield once dried and cured. But not to bad for my first grow 🔥

Awesome Week💚 Following some great discussions with more experienced growers, I really think we got things back on track! 🙏 To those Growmies I really raised the ppm this week we topped out around 630 PPM This was in an attempt to balance out some nutrition issues. I think the ladies have responded very well. 😃🌱💪 Raised the light up to 24in as well a few days later after seeing positive changes due to feeding regiment. Started preflowering, showing pistols on all plants. Counting down these last 7-8 weeks when the ladies beauty comes out 🤩 Will update throughout the week with photos and videos. Well I have to say even though I had a few temperature issues in the night that I think may have stressed them. They took a lot longer than expected but after drying I don’t know how but I ended up with some fantastic tasty buds a few of the plants even came out purple!! I have to say the purple buds are my favourite 🤩 fastbuds never disappoints!!!!!

It’s the final week. I’m just giving them a couple of waterings with ph’d water before the chop.

I am so excited to grow this Mexican Airlines from @420fast_buds. She is About twelve days out of The Dirt and is doing excellent. But I wouldn't expect anything less from the peeps at @fast_buds. All in all this was an amazing harvest I usually have around 8-10 plants and harvest anywhere from 24-36 ozs per harvest with the 8 plants I had this harvest including the biscotti mintz and cookies USA I ended up with 898g total dry weight with all top quality flower. I’ve learned some things with all my previous runs when it comes to dialing in my quality and yield and definitely watching for those herms because I like to push my plants to the max when it comes to training !
