The girls were harvested at 94 days. I didn't weigh it, but I believe they yielded around 60 to 70g for both. I am very satisfied and happy to have achieved a very good result, being my first time growing. A cycle closes and a new will come soon with new soil assembly, new genetics and more experience. Thanks to Shiva for tending and blessing the crop, and to all friends here who have sent messages of support and encouragement. I gained another family. Happy 2023 to all, may it be a year of much evolution and beautiful flowers. Om Shanti

This weeks nutrients were identical to last minus the CalMag. The smaller of the two plants continued to stretch until the end of week three of flower. The larger plant already started to bulk. Trichome development is ramping up.

Day 49 These beauties continued to stretch after the defoliation. Stretch is done and the buds are getting bigger. I’ve secured some of the branches to the trellis to create more space between them. Everything is going fine. Not much to comment on. Happy Growing 🌱

🌿 Mango Kush — Harvest Report (Week 7 Flower → Harvest) Grow Diaries — From Seed to Soul After months of nurturing, tuning, and watching the Mango Kush sisters evolve, today we finally harvest. What began as two seeds—two phenos with two destinies—has become a garden symphony of light, resin, and patience. Genetic Journey — From Seed to Harvest Pheno #1: Started in veg before flipping; taller, more expressive stretch; structured and vigorous. Pheno #2: Ran 12/12 from seed—shorter cycle, smaller frame, but incredibly dense. Different paths, same destination. Despite the variation, both finished side by side, their trichomes shimmering like frost under the lens. From the very first true leaves to the last amber sparkle, this grow embodied the full spectrum of plant life. Both phenos shared that unmistakable Mango Kush sweetness—fruit-forward, creamy, with earthy Kush undertones that deepen as they cure. 🔬 Trichomes — The Living Resin We harvested with trichomes at about 75 % cloudy, a few ambers scattered, and a few clears clinging on. Why this timing? Cloudy trichomes → peak THC, most psychoactive potency. Amber trichomes → oxidized cannabinoids, deeper body stone, slightly less heady. Clear trichomes → undeveloped, lighter high, harsher burn. By cutting at ~75 % cloudy, we captured the perfect balance between energy and depth—a clean, full-spectrum effect with robust THC, trace CBD, and terpenes locked in their prime. Inside each trichome lives a micro-world of medicine: Cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBG)—psychoactive and therapeutic agents. Terpenes (myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene)—aroma, flavor, entourage synergy. Flavonoids & esters—color, nuance, antioxidant value. It’s chemistry turned art—and when viewed through the macro lens, pure alien beauty. 🌸 The Harvest — Dense, Loud, and Sticky Both plants produced compact, heavy colas. Pheno #1: 162 g of dry, aromatic medicine. Pheno #2: 129 g—smaller, but louder in terps. Together: 291 g total of crystal-coated Mango Kush bliss. The smell? Explosive. Sweet mango and creamy Kush so strong that, without carbon filters, the neighborhood would know. 😂 And those buds—dense like stone, sparkling like snow. Trimming gloves glued with resin. Even the scissors felt high. 🌬️ Dry & Cure — The 60/60 Philosophy We dried the full plants slowly: 60 °F (15.5 °C) and 60 % RH for 14 days. Why 60/60? Because slow drying preserves volatile terpenes and ensures chlorophyll breakdown. Quick drying bakes the aroma; slow drying matures it. The science is simple: lower temperature = less terpene loss, stable humidity = even drying. After the dry, we hand-trimmed every flower using a trim-bin, collecting a rich layer of kief—a golden powder of pure cannabinoids and terpenes. 🔥 Old-School Touch — Hash & Extracts The kief was gently pressed using only hot water, glass, and hand pressure— we also did some old-school charas way. No machinery, no shortcuts. Just heat, touch, and patience. From this we crafted a small hash bar—soft, aromatic, pure. We also explored extractions with BHO/Rosin, carefully purging over three weeks until perfectly stable. Both concentrates now rest in the fridge—preserved at low temperature, rich in flavor and medicinal potential. 💨 Smoke Report — Smooth, Sweet, and Deep The first taste is soft and silky. Mango sweetness rolls in, followed by that earthy Kush finish. Inhale: Fruity and fresh. Exhale: Creamy, grounding, slightly spicy. Effect: Uplifting at first, melting into a serene, full-body calm. The smoke is gentle on the throat, rich in vapor, and incredibly aromatic. This is medicine that heals both mind and mood. 💡 Gear & Ecosystem Our ecosystem blended art and technology: TrolMaster Tent-X + WCS sensors → precise moisture, EC, and temperature tracking. Lighting: ThinkGrow Model One, ICL-300s, Future of Grow Black Series 600W, Lumatek Zeus 465W. Automation: TrolMaster ecosystem controlling airflow, CO₂, and environmental harmony. It wasn’t just a grow—it was an orchestra. 🔄 Full Journey Recap Seed Stage: Aptus Start Booster, delicate beginnings. Veg: Strong structure, lush growth under perfect PPFD balance. Pre-Flower: 12/12 flip; phenos diverged but thrived. Flower Weeks 1–4: Structure building, light & nutrient tuning. Flower Weeks 5–7: Trichomes exploding, aroma maturing. Week 8 Harvest: Mission complete—patience rewarded. 🙏 Gratitude To the community—thank you for growing, reading, laughing, and learning with us. Grow Diaries’ calendar system can be tricky, so we’re uniting both here—and they’ll remain side by side through the next reports: Harvest, Dry, Trim, Cure, and Smoke Review. Transparency matters; the story deserves to be whole. 💚

More Big changes this week! The flowers seem to be growing and getting bigger every day - I anxiously look in my tent each morning to see the new developments and there seems to be new changes each time - very cool to smoke a bowl in the morning and go check your garden! I was able to get some pretty cool photos with my macro lens - I found the ONLY flower site and first signs of red colors on one of the lower flowers of Cherry Gorilla #3 - I was able to get some pretty sweet pics of that. If you have a smart phone or tablet, definitely check out some of the macro shots and pinch/zoom in! I did add a fan on the bottom blowing underneath the canopy, in efforts of opening up the stomata of the ladies. We are finally having our first relatively hot week up here and it has absolutely tested my environment management skills - AC, Dehumidifier, Fans, Window open and close - this silly temp VPD and humidity control dance all day will not be too much longer, very much looking forward to the lower temperatures of the fall and winter months! When opening up the tent - you are blasted with a unfamiliar smell that can be explained as a sweet dank. I have touched some of the lower buds on each of the plants and WOW! - They are SWEET and Cherry flavor like crazy - The GMO is just as I expected - Garlic Gas Sweetness when touching her leaves - You are left with a very sticky goo on your finger that absolutely smells of its particular strain. Again - I could not be happier with the garden, and especially this being my first grow ever. Looking forward to more changes and absolutely some input from the Grow Diaries Community!

Sixth week of late vegetation / pre-flowering started. I've changed the water into the pots. The fan is turned three hours on, one off. Inkbird parameters are unchanged (20° -3° H +2°C). Plants are healthy and started to be bushy and taller. Light power @ 100%. Extractor @ 75%. D36: plants seem to be healthy. I've changed the water and during the pot cleaning I broke the air stone; repaired it as well I could do. Tomorrow I will buy the replacement. I added 35 ml grow, 30 ml micro and 35 ml bloom. pH @ 6.0, EC @ 1.8. I've used 9 ml of pH- D37: replaced the broken air stone. The plant seems to be ok after passing almost one day only with air injected by the replacement. D38: pH correction at 5.9. Added 1.5 l of water to each pot. D40: added 2 l of water each pot. Plants are growing bushy more than I expected and they are drinking a lot. Removed some lower leaves.

Day 8 - I topped off each of the solo cups with a little more soil. Might just be my lighting but the leaves are looking kinda light in color to me. Other than that everything seems to be going well. Day 9 - Leaf color looks fine now, probably just the white balance in the photos. I picked up some free worm tea from my local hydro shop today and gave most of it to my outdoor garden (no cannabis) and a small portion to the ladies in the tent. It's looking like they're almost large enough to transplant but I still haven't set up my larger tent yet. Soon! Day 12 - Finished setting up my new tent and transplanted the ladies. Tent is 100x100x200cm and I now have 2 300w 2nd Gen Roleadro LEDs. Going to see if this Cellmax Rootbooster makes any difference in the transplant. I'd noticed the 3BOG was looking kinda droopy lately. It was also the only transplant that didn't go smoothly so hopefully it will make it through all this stress. Not sure what was causing the drooping originally though, all plants have been cared for the same until now. Day 14 - Noticing some light curling on the leaves. I'm thinking it's just the low humidity but I moved the lights up a few inches just to be safe. I haven't given them a full watering yet in the new 3 gallon pots so maybe the humidity will rise once they get some water. (Humidity up to 34% a few hours after watering)

Beginning of week 11 Flushing her this week just pure tap water again to help get rid of the last of the remaining nutrients and salt build up that may be present. Checked the trichomes and they are very nearly ready, mostly cloudy with a few bits of amber here and there. Colas are quite dense and the biggest is at 16cm circumference. The leaves are literally falling off daily. A sure sign she’s maturing. Throughout this grow I been worried about high ppm run offs due to nutrient lock out, heat stress and this lady hulkberry has still managed to produced lovely looking buds. This strain I want to grow in my green house in the summer I reckon she’ll do great in there. I will definitely get this strain again. Nice one RQS. I can’t wait to chop her...she smells mouth watering like a fruity berry scent with that undeniable hint of diesel. I can’t wait to taste her.

The weather at the beginning of the week was still pretty bad so I kept the plants inside for three more days. After that, the sun appeared and the temperatures rised a lot! I finally put the plants outside! 😎

New week, new fun. Runtz is simply a brilliant genetic. I wish many other strains, like the Zamnesia Blueberry Auto, would behave the same way as Runtz does as an automatic. The smell drives you crazy. Runtz has a wilder scent, but unlike its companions, it is now beginning to develop a new fruity-sweet aroma. I noticed this for the first time today. As you can see in the pictures, the strain makes a great impression and grows excellently without much worry. However, one thing to note: Runtz takes significantly more time. Almost as if it knows that good results require patience. A very good genetic—I'm almost tempted to grow it outdoors to see how it develops there. I can't say much about the taste yet, but for anyone who knows Runtz, I can only recommend this strain from Zamnesia. Green Sensation from Plagron is doing its job. It seems to be doing the plants a lot of good. This makes growing in the Grow Cup really fun. I hope I'll get the chance from 💙💙💙Zamnesia💙💙💙 to participate in more events like this.

Drying back and plants have grown a ton, did some defoliation and cleared the tops. Apologies for the sound muffling in the video. Wish I had a trellis net to put up, would've done it around this week to even up the canopy during stretch.
