This week, I'm pretty happy for now. The addition of Cal-mag and the increase in light are going great. There is also a slight defoliation. The canopy is very present, the heads are quite similar in height, I am very happy even if I think there will be a few weeks more than what Zamnesia has announced for this variety...

Everything is looking good so far. They’re all done stretching and the cheese and black garlic have stretched the most. I adjusted each plant with boxes to create a more even canopy. Buds are swelling up nicely. The two black berry breath plants are looking swollen and fantastic. I don’t like the structure and bud size of the black garlic plants and will not be running them again. Although, they’re getting quite keify and the breeder claims they have a genetic trait that make them put on most of their weight late in flower. So far I’m not too impressed by their size. The seedsman Badazz OG cheese has got good node spacing and structure but has very little trichs and smaller buds. I was just running the cheese to test old European genetics and my bias is starting to confirm my bias. Dutch and Euro genetics are shit. The slurricane #4 is looking fantastic in terms of frost but the buds are lacking a little in size. I’m going to do the 21 day strip today. I should have done most of this defoliation earlier in veg but right now is still fine. Ice cream cake #1 hermed which isn’t at all surprising so I scrapped her. At least it gives me more space to get in and tend to the rest of the plants. I got a pump sprayer to get in a bit closer to the plants as well.

Ganja Farmer Seeds AK 2.0 XL Day 25 from sprout Light:Viparspectra XS2000 dialed in at 75% Top and bottom watering every other day to every 2 days Almost starting week 4 for this AK 2.0 XL. She has done very well with LST and is starting to show faster growth the past week. This week, I decided to take her structure to the next level by topping a few branches, and let me tell you—she’s loving it. 🌿 The growth is vigorous, and she’s shaping up beautifully to maximize her potential for flowering. Let’s dive into what went down this week and why it’s all so important for her journey. Branch Topping: Building a Strong Framework After recovering beautifully from her initial topping at node 7, it was time to refine her structure further by topping a few branches. For each branch, I left two nodes to ensure strong, healthy growth while encouraging a bushier canopy. Why Top Branches? Topping isn’t just for the main stem—it’s an essential technique for creating an even canopy and increasing yield potential: 1. Encourages Lateral Growth: By removing the top of a branch, the plant redirects its energy into the remaining nodes, encouraging side shoots to grow and fill out. 2. Maximizes Light Penetration: A bushier plant with more branches ensures that all parts of the plant get access to light, reducing shading and improving photosynthesis. 3. Improves Structure: A strong, evenly distributed framework sets the stage for a healthier plant that can support larger buds during flowering. The decision to leave two nodes per topped branch ensures a balance between promoting growth and avoiding unnecessary stress. Tent Conditions: Consistency is Key The room conditions this week have remained steady and perfect for her vegetative stage: • Temperature: Around 18°C—cool but manageable, keeping her growth steady. • Humidity: At 60%, maintaining just the right level to support her root zone and foliage. • Lighting: The Future of Grow (FOG) LED at 200 PPFD continues to provide optimal light for compact, strong growth. i will dim it up soon! These consistent conditions give her the environment she needs to recover quickly from topping and focus on building her structure. Nutrient Routine: Trusting the Pellets This week, I’ve continued with the Aptus Holland All-in-One Pellets as the primary nutrient source. They’re working their magic, providing a steady release of nutrients to support her vigorous growth. As a backup plan, I’m always ready to reintroduce All-in-One Liquid if she starts showing signs of needing more immediate nutrition. I’m planning to continue topping over the next few weeks to shape her into a bushy, evenly distributed plant. Some deficiencies due to PH levels too high. Replaced with new PH pen.. Waiting on recovery, should notice difference by the end of the week.. Going to week 12.😓🎋

Week 6

8 weeks later and these girls are getting smelly! They are also steadily packing on some weight and I'm getting excited! This week the girls look to be in mid flowering stage and they were starting to show some kind of deficiency (maybe should've top dressed last week) well I top dressed last night and whipped up a compost tea for them too so we'll see how they react this week. This Orange Sherbet girl finally got some defoliation and LST. The flowers are budding up and I could not risk a lack of air flow so she's all opened up and looking gooood. The next run I'll be doing them all like this I think. Getting very excited for a taste 😋 Hope you all had a good week and thanks for checking in ✌️
