Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Полёт в штатном режиме, к концу второй недели сделал пересадку растений в горшки по 12,5л.(можно было на пару дней позже, но и так пойдет). В процессе использовал средство Jellyfish Plant Success, которое попало ко мне практически случайно, и вот тут не обошлось без сюрпризов можно сказать в прямом эфире - после полива смесью нелицеприятного вида(внутри кокоса и на корни я тоже обильно посыпал) буквально прямо на глазах на поверхности кокоса начали формироваться желеобразные сгустки по типу гидрогеля, размером с горох(см. видео). Поначалу я даже не знал, как реагировать, настолько это было неожиданно.😵 Здравый смысл да и само название(!) продукта подсказывали, что так и должно быть 😐, вот серьёзно, как-будто большую медузу бросили в миксер, а затем высыпали мне на субстрат. Подозреваю, что внутри субстрата творилось то же самое. Прошли сутки, комочков желе стало меньше, но растворились не все. Теперь я уже вижу, что с растихами всё в порядке, значит всё так и было задумано 😇 Если и дальше всё пойдет по плану - в конце недели будем резать, заходите посмотреть. Bueno, van muuuy bien, quizás en alguna variedad me pasé con la tijera y por solo confiar en las cabezas, no voy a sacar mucha producción pero bueno, lo que salga se fuma, y lo que no, se cultiva de nuevo xD. Las plantas tiran un oloor... Me lo tiene todo apestado! Jajaja para bien! Aclaro que estas fotos son literalmente tras encenderse las luces despues de 6h de un producto de descarga total antifungico que usé en oscuridad. El producto es valido para floración, ademas que pienso que aún quedará un mes pal corte, tiempo de sobra + 2 semanas de secado + otras 2 semanas de curado (no nos engañemos, se fumará desde que esté seca xD pero la teoría es que no, que aguanto hasta que cure). El tiempo este que digo, lo menciono a modo, tiempo mas que de sobra de irse los restos. Debido al producto, que lo coloqué en el centro del armario, las ramas mas cercanas han sufrido de estres químico y han cerrado estomas, por eso estan mas marrones o caídas, incluso como si tuviesen estres hidrico. La semana que viene cuando suba las fotos, veremos los cambios :).

Just another photo dump lol This girl is proving to be a slow finish for me. Going on to week 16 now and I’ve decided to give her the flush as her trichs are all starting to go amber. I felt I’ve traded enough potency for yield now and I don’t think she’s really racking on much more weight. This might be the last update until after harvest. Up until it’s time to trim and jar. Wish me luck folks. I’m thinking I’ll be close to a half pound of this fatty 😍😂

Day 65 - Pics/Vids..... Everything looks good......stress bent them into position and defoliated ..... lots of flowering now..... ..... hadn't actually measured them for awhile, and updated the height, 44 cm .... tested out the lights higher, 40cm away, and seemed to slow down growth... so moved em back, 20-25cm... watering is the same, bottom saucer feeding, 850-1000 ppm dutch master one flower 5-8ml/lt.... actually using about 12-15ml / 1.8l....... Day 70 (10 wks) - Pulled em both out of tent, flushed em and trimmed em abit, took some pics/vids in the sunshine. ...... the soil started smelling bad, - stale, moldy, damp, soil smell..... so i did a full flush out on both.... noticed afew gnats, been afew since the start, but haven't really been many.... i'm going to try out a UV bulb, and also a usb uv led bug trap ..... just ordered them.... posted a pic of both... see if they are any good..... 😎

This week the flowers are larger than the previous week. and has a stronger smell.

Gelato x GMO is taking off in the 15 gallon pot, showing rapid growth every day. The Blue MOBs seem to have stopped growing vertically in the 5 gallon buckets and are now filling out existing branches while they all reach for the sun. The 15 gallon Blue MOB seems to still be growing in height as well as filling out existing branches. Heavy rain has been persistent with few days of direct sunlight yet plants are still growing. Massachusetts ended up receiving the tail end of a big storm so I have not had to water them the entire week, the soil has stayed damp and kept the plants hydrated

Lots of wind and electric storms this week but they're still growing up, I did a defoliation and still watering with fish, roots and bio bloom from biobizz. Mucho viento y tormentas eléctricas pero siguen creciendo bien. He hecho una defoliacion y sigo regando solo con biobizz. Cuando este en plena floracion le metere BloomBastic.
