Ended up having to remove the bottom two fan leaves. Did not want to put the went complete yellow on me. Oh well. Right now I'm working on the exterior root. It is turning green so that's awesome. It's going to keep going. I think I will try to get it to make its way up the drain hole that way I can completely uncover it.

Week 7 went well. Had some good weather. I went away for four days, watered (no nutes) day before I left and think they had a little rain one day while I was gone. Buds have been getting fatter and look healthy. Think I might do water/nutes tomorrow ( 4/5 days after last water) then maybe one more round of nutes before I start flush. Will research when to stop nutes for next update

Die Pflanze hat sich in den letzten 10 Tagen ordentlich um 21cm gestreckt. Ich denke jetzt hat sie mit 45cm ihre Endhöhe erreicht. Habe mich aber bewusst vor dem Kauf der Samen für eine kleine kompakte Pflanze entschieden die nicht so viel Platz im Fensterbrett einnimmt. Die Buds entwickeln sich immer mehr. Morgen wird das erste mal mit Alga Bloom gegossen.

Veg Week 3 The Plants DAY 22 - Transplanted T.O.5. Not Root Bound, but definitely could see the bright white roots all around the container. The plant started stretching almost immediately. So cool to see plants move. DAY 26 - Finished Transplanting for this week-- T.O. 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 13 to ~1 gallon pots. Watering Starting watering every day toward the end of the week (Day 26). Days are starting to get warmer. Growing in fabric pots in Southern California typically requires daily watering starting in June. I've learned through the years that the plant just sucks up the water and boosts in size. The more water you can give it without rotting the roots - the bigger the plant. There are still differences in strains - some plants just like to get dry before the next drenching. Couple more weeks until the June solstice (June 20). Nutrients Building up the arsenal in my cupboard--Bud Candy + Overdrive from AN, Kelp Meal from Down To Earth. I usually don't add too much stuff because the soil is fairly loaded from the bag.

New week. 55-65 DLi. Been smoking some Pakistani Landrace this week, must say, its exceptional. The plant shifts its energy entirely from vegetative growth to flower production. Small blemishes are creeping in, but expected, holding up remarkably well given the circumstances. A high CEC acts as a nutrient "storehouse", preventing essential cations from being washed away by water (leaching) and making them available for gradual plant uptake. Soils with high CEC can store larger quantities of nutrients, allowing for less frequent, potentially larger, fertilizer applications compared to low-CEC (sandy) soils which require smaller, more frequent doses. By providing a steady and dependable supply of nutrients, high-CEC soils support healthier plant growth and potentially higher crop yields. High CEC is typically associated with soils rich in clay and organic matter, which also generally have a greater water-holding capacity, benefiting crops during dry periods. While high-buffer soils require larger amounts of amendments (like lime) to change their pH initially, they need to be limed or amended less frequently, simplifying long-term management. Week 15 of veg for the Pineapple Upside Down — and she’s still cruising! Nothing dramatic happening, but that’s actually great news. She’s been pushing healthy leaves, good colors, zero stress signs. Nutrients are still on point, temps stable, lighting unchanged — a very chill week in the grow room. Right now, the goal is to keep her in good shape while we wait for the flower tent to be ready. It should take around 3–4 more weeks before she can move in there and start her real stretch. So I’m thinking about doing one last topping soon — just to keep that structure compact and avoid a skyscraper situation later. She’s showing that nice balanced growth I like: strong side branches, good spacing, and she reacts really well to training. For now, we just let her enjoy the ride, keep monitoring, and avoid rushing the process. So yeah — a simple, smooth week. Exactly what we want at this stage. Next stop: one final haircut (maybe), then a big move to the flower tent soon. See you in week 16!

8/20 Looking real good did a small bit of defoliation but this thing real leafy and frosty at the same time

It was time to chop one of the girls. After wet trim scale show 547g what I find a great result. Second plant will stay in the tent for about a week longer. First one: from 547 wetwith some stems I finished with 102g dry and trimmed Second one: 617 wet harvest, dry 135 Final weight from two plants is 237g so I'm super happy about this grow.

Hey Cannafam, Its been a fairly good week for my gal, weve had wall to wall sunshine and shes loving life in the growth department. Shes had a couple of feeds and her colour has further improved. However she is being munched by various parties, her very lowest couple of leaves were covered on aphid eggs which i removed earlier in the week, also some further leaf miner damage although not extensive required removal of another couple of leaves and lastly frog hoppers having a nibble. To be honest im just glad its not slugs and shes weathering things well, although i have been looking for some ladybirds to pop on her, but so far no luck. Ive also popped her back on her hiding place as she is becoming much more noticable both in size and also smell. First 7 days of the Strawberry Gorilla from Fastbuds.
