~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Our summer weather continues to be brutal with daytime high temperatures hitting over 90℉ everyday, and nighttime low temp's rarely going below 75℉ with super high nighttime RH in the 70-90% range. 7/28- I am continuing with my daily watering regime of 5-8g every afternoon after sunset, with the exception of days that we receive measurable rain. 7/30- The Papaya Sherbet photo is continuing her growth spurt and is at 6 1/2 feet tall now! She's got that wide node spacing reminiscent of Sativa's, and I'm just hoping that she doesn't wait too long to begin flowering which would run into our wet season when issues with fungus and mold become more of a concern. 8/1- The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod is now 84 days since she first appeared, and she has really come a long way since. Hopefully in the next few weeks she will shift gears and begin to flower which will be a welcome sight to see! semana evolutiva, acertando os fatores que faltavam, mantendo o VPD, coloquei a Tela de SCROG para segurar o topo que já tinha ultrapassado a borda do vaso, os demais ramos continuo puxando para a borda, até agora nenhum Pistilo, fechando 4 semanas muito bem, sem estresse e com diferentes intensidades de técnicas em cada Auto, to fazendo meus próprios testes, coloquei as Auto do vaso mais largo para Green House que eu fiz, para posicionar os vasos do Indoor na posição final e adicionar a tela de SCROG, as Auto Outdoor adoraram a casa nova! seguimos..

~ Update ~ Finally my friends, it looks like everything has officially started the flowering cycle. I had a few issues going on, black spots, drastic drop in temps, fungal gnats, and a little more. I got everything under control for now, gotta keep a watchful eye ;) I’m a bit late with the notes and pics, so here they are! Enjoy :) ~ Individual Progress Notes ~ [CBD Blueberry] Height: 23.3” Tops: 8 Notes: The smell is getting more intense now. Still has hat tropical theme; papaya, melon, and sweet berries are the most prominent scents. I’m noticing slight purple towards the tips of buds and sugar leaves. Even though this pheno I have is acting up I like what I see, and smell ;) [Mazar] Height: 22.7” Tops: 16 Notes: I’m going to use nothing but water for a while. The leaves look ashy, and bland when the others are lush green. I wonder if this girl is a light feeder? I will water the others with seperate nute regimen to avoid making this condition worse. I also have little dark spots that show up on the leaves which I haven't found on the other girls. This being a unique event, I’m not sure if it’s fungal or nutes. I will find out eventually. I pick off all the leaves that are contaminated to avoid spreading this condition (if airborne or contact transfer applies). I will keep an eye on this one.... [Super Silver Haze] Height: 23.8” Tops: 16 Notes: This beast isn’t as full as WW for an example, though the stems and bud sites look solid! I really like how well this one is doing. Still has the biggest leaves too, I have high expectations for her. I wonder how much she’ll stretch in the next 3 weeks? [White Widow] Height: 22.5” Tops: 16 Notes: Out of all the girls this one has the most purple action goin on, I love purple and to me this is a great sign. The nutes work the best for this girl too, need to be careful to not overfeed the others because of this reason. I think this girls will purple out on me, well I’m hoping for that at least. I might let the trics amber to 50/50 make this girl a heavy sedative and muscle relaxant, I have time so no rush. I could harvest some of the buds with 10-20% amber then let the rest mature more, just a thought :) ~ Final Thoughts ~ I glad the majority are having no troubles, it’s a bummer I can’t get rid of this spot problem with Mazar. I need to act fast to make sure I can stop this from spreading. I might quarantine her if it comes down to it. I believe I can get to the root of the issue here, in due time. Anyways I’m glad I’ve gotten to this point! I’m very excited, starting to get a bit impatient from the anticipation… I promise I won’t harvest early ;) Much love you guys! Meus <3

Stopped the nutrients at week 11

I made a concoction of living soil using ingredients I could find of subcools formula. Theoretically all i need to add is ph balanced water. And a tea once I decide to flower. I'm waiting for some gadgets[ph and moisture meters]to come in before doing any extensive watering.

EC 1.2 PH 5.8 I am very impressed by the rapid growth. The roots seem to be very healthy. I have raised the light to encourage more vertical growth.

Yo this is the start of week 8 of flower! This will definitely be the last week for this beautiful cultivar, her buds are rock hard, caked in trichomes and they are ripe for the picking. The smell this beaut is giving off is a skunk funky gas with that signature cannabis smell I can’t get enough of. I can’t stress this enough HOLY HELL THIS PLANT IS SOMETHING ELSE!!! Everything I want in a plant this plant has it. I will absolutely be growing this again and making a monster out of it because muh god if the taste is there I might just have to keep this around forever HAHAHAH. They seem to be doing well. Not really growing much but they are producing the start of flowers. One might be a male. Only lst was to provide more room. Just hoping for some growth in flower!

As I dive deeper into week 6, the flowering stage is officially in full swing. I can feel the excitement in the air as the plants begin to transform into their beautiful selves. This week, I've continued to band and apply Low-Stress Training (LST) techniques, ensuring that the branches are positioned just right for optimal light exposure. It's all about maximizing potential, and I'm committed to giving them every advantage possible. I've also been diligent with defoliation, carefully removing some leaves to improve airflow and light penetration. It's a delicate balance, but I believe it will pay off as the flower start to form. I've been sticking to the full schedule of the Canne Terra set, and the plants are reacting exceptionally well to both the feeding and the LST. Their growth is vigorous, and I’m pleased with how robust they’re looking. A fascinating development this week is the emergence of a subtle, sweet smell. It’s a delightful reminder that the plants are truly in their element. I can't help but relish this part of the journey. With the buds on the horizon, I’m eager to see how they will develop in the coming weeks. The anticipation is palpable, and I’m ready for the rewards that lie ahead. (Days 15-21) (Day 21) Everything is looking really good this week. I got my MH hooked up and dimmed to 250w. Plants are responding very well. Not a single sign of yellowing and plants are all a nice healthy green. I covered up the transparent solo cups with some newspaper as the roots are starting to pool around the bottom of the cups. I’m going to transplant everything into 2gal pots with my inoculated 50/50 coco blend sometime next week. There is a nice layer of mycorrhizal fungi starting to coat the surface now. Blackberry breath #1 is still looking oddly deformed still but I am concluding it’s genetic. Going to be trying this ‘Boogie Brew’ tea stuff in the next few days as well. I’m pretty sure the leaf discoloring I saw that one day was from using unstable RO water. I am making sure to stabilize all water with rain/snow/brita before watering. It seems to have cleared up in a just a few days of proper water. I didn’t get around to getting a c02 canister this week but I will grab it at the same time I get those 2gal nursery pots. I’m shocked at how well the air pump is helping the bbb#2. It is always the perkiest plant in the tent and despite being a runt, it’s already outpacing most of the others in terms of new growth. I guess air is an often overlooked factor when growing. Hopefully the coco blend will help get things a little more aerated when I transplant. Been thinking I’m going to just veg until they all show sex and then flip them. (Day 17) I gave my first pest/mold prevention spray today. I then raised the light all the way up to the top of the tent for a few hours. Plants responded well and no spots, burn ect. I’m also going to give my first top dressing today. I’m using my new organic dry amendments scratched into the surface of the solo cups with some added promix as a layer of mulch. I don’t want to see any yellowing at all in veg this run. I fucked up hard last time so I’m going to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Girls still on water, but they are getting bigger, need more water, so installed trays, gave them a lift from ground and hopefully this weekend heavy LST and defoliation session with light BioBizz FishMix feed . All girls are nice, two a bit smaller, but they should catch up. Made small shuffle , sometimes it looks to me, that one light is overperforming others in veg. Day 45. Heavy training, loads of lst and defoliation, pure phed water. Think to give them 2 more weeks before flip, will clear up in a week all small shoots and bottoms. Happy Growing !
