02/08/20 (Sunday) 9AM - Continuing off of the great progress of last week I decided to take the initiative and attempt 'repairs' to the photosynthesis of my plants with compromised leaves using surgical tape. Unfortunately after one too many readjustments on one of the first true leaves of the SVG I caused some minor lacerations on the leaf; it should be fine though. 11AM - All four plants were fed. 5PM - I decided that it would be more beneficial to just defoliate the first true leaves and start lst on the SVG so it'll have a little more energy to grow the tops. Left the top leaf on the abandoned original stem to help with photosynthesis and not over stress the plant all at once. 03/08/20 The SVG seems to have responded positively to the training and is growing rapidly. 04/08/20 Had an exhausting day yesterday and fell asleep before I could turn off the grow light leading to the plants getting 24+ hours of continuous light. None seemed to be stressed and were immediately put to sleep for 6 hours before continuing their light cycle with a shorter day so they'd fall back on schedule. 05/08/20 The plants enjoyed a new record of 10 hours in the sunlight and are starting to look ready to stay outside for the entire day. Noticed one fan leaf on the Jam had evidence of leaf miners and decided to remove it to free up wasted energy for the plant. 06/08/20 More leaves are showing signs of miner activity so I feel it may be time to start considering an early topping. 07/08/20 I decided to do an early top on all single cola plants at their third from the bottom 3+ leaf node to help control the miner problem. Considering keeping the plants as indoor instead because pests seem to be targeting them in my gallery garden, but none of my other species of plants. Took some advice and squeezed all the leaves on the Jam to kill the leaf miners. 08/08/20 All leaf miner progress seems to have been halted.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. 4/9/25 This plant is beyond frosty. Stacking up super nicely. Seems like she will yeild quite a bit. My only gripe is that she has like no smell at all. Using the foil as a soil cover is working quite nicely. the top soil is getting filled with roots quite well. Top dressed 1tsp of Bloom 1tsp microbe charge 1tsp bloom

UPDATE : Very aggressive defoliation was needed, (Week 4 day 27 ) room is only 3x5and was very full My goal is having a grow that is easy to maintain with Nice big passages UPDATE: They are showing no damage from the defoliation. The Canopy is growing back quite fast , alot easier to deal with but next grow probably only go with 4 plants , 2 white widows , 2 blueberrys. I haven’t decided lst or top , SUGGESTIONS???? Filled in nicely after all cropping was done.Mostly the bottom and midsection show great development. I've had them on a 16 hr schedule for a few weeks I think I'll flip the lights to 13/11 tonight. Trying something different in lowering the daylight time gradually to a final end of flowering light/dark of 10/14.

Week 3 flowering (a week is 5 days) Both plants begin to seriously flower with some early trichomes on leaves and buds. It seems that Gori is quite in a more advanced status compared to Rilla. I also changed the nutrients compositions following the 3rd week Advanced Nutrients for coco professional program (I calculated EC of every single nutrient and made a custom dosage program for every week according to a more realistic EC value - check nutrients in my diary). Plants are doing well, leaves are beautifully green without signs of nutrients burns, excess or deficiencies. They are watered every day in the morning with fertilized water. Every day I also correct the training of the branches, removing unwanted popcorn/bottom growth and removing leaves that covers buds and leaves that don’t perform well (i.e.: leaves at the bottom that will not take light). 🌱

Start of Week 11 - Day 71 07/12: It seems as if Annie’s stretch is slowing down. She’s now at about 30” tall and she has a lot of colas poking out from her base. Aaliyah and Alexis have stopped their height at 34”. Alexis’s buds are starting to get bigger. The buds in Aaliyah’s main cola are starting to connect and are also getting bigger. Aaliyah’s bigger buds are also getting coated in trichomes. The smell is still pretty minimal. Based on the visual changes it appears that Alexis is about a week behind Aaliyah and Annie is about three weeks behind Aaliyah. Since this is my first grow I’m not too sure on harvesting time, but I’d say Aaliyah will be ready first and she still has a few weeks left in her. They are losing some leaves closer to the base, but they are looking amazing overall. It’s hard to believe it’s been 70 days since I put the seeds in water. Time really flies. 07/16: Playing the waiting game and it isn’t easy, but it will be worth it. The ladies are at different stages of flowering, so I’ve decided that next week I’m going to start giving them different doses of nutrients.
