The apparent potassium deficiency has got me worried about how to get some into the plants ASAP. Therefore, I have purchased some Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster, courtesy of Amazon Prime! Sadly, this seems to be of inorganic nature. However, I need to rectify the issue quickly, so this seemed the best option. Another possibility is light burn, as the plants have grown as tall as my tent! 6ft! So I have turned down the lighting to 60%. This seems quite likely as my FBP2 is considerably shorter than FBP1 and FBP3, and this plant does not have the same issues. The new dehumidifier has managed to get the RH down to around 49%. Considering it was up to 99% this week. I definitely am trying my best to avoid the dreaded bud rot! I added a large amount of Silica as the stems are decreasing in strength under the weight, so hopefully that will help. Additionally a Potassium deficiency itself can cause weaker stems, so I'm trying everything, (possibly overkill) to correct my oversights on this. All in all I've learnt many things from this 1st grow. Most importantly the necessity of LST, to prevent the plants from getting so tall, and that will avoid the light stress. The trichomes are still mostly clear through the jewellers loupe. From what I can tell as my eyesight isn't too good. It's difficult to tell milky from clear to me. 21.8.24; I just did a defoliation, I removed many more leaves today 🍃 things are getting super crowded in the 4x4, even with both tent doors open. I adjusted the plants, alternating so that each side of each plant gets correct lighting (as best I can manage)! I gave the plants each; *1ml in 1ltr of dechlorinated water, of Ecothrive Flourish. **2ml in 1ltr of dechlorinated water of Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster. ****2ml in 1ltr of dechlorinated water, of Cal-Mag. My fan also broke, so I moved my lounge fan into the grow room. It's a lot more powerful, even on the lowest setting, so I tried to disperse it trying as best as possible. On the 15/10 it was my fifth day in a row without any more signs of pollensacks or nanas! It really is worth the try is you think, you got something special on your hands. If you can, better isolate it anyways, I just didn't have the room for this. Everything else also going great and the Double Dunked is starting to show why this run is called "Purple Beauties". From now on every week was going to blow my mind on just how beautiful this grow could turn out. Also did some defoliation again

This strain was just what I was looking for. After the previous trauma of letting my plant grow WAY too tall, I went into this grow looking for something much shorter and manageable and this was exactly it. The tying down at times were a pain, but one of those things that’s better in the long run. The transplanting kind of screwed me up a bit. Not only did I not really fill the pot enough, but I put them in horribly. The soil was falling apart and it was just an ugly mess. Trying to OD the plants wasn’t part of the plan either but they bounced back just fine. All in all it was a very easy strain to grow. The dry amounts of each plant are as follows. Plant 1: 48.2 grams. Plant 2: 51.8 grams. Plant 3: 46.4 grams. Plant 4: 50.1 grams and Plant 5: 51.2 grams for a total of 196.4 grams (7.8 oz’s)

fifth week flower, the ladies are getting really tasty and developing well!!

Plants are 5 weeks old and I decided to switch to flowering for week 6. Plants are all in good shape and the screen is in place to train them to fill the tent. I will be changing out the veg bulb this week and installing the 1000w HPS bulb for flowering. I’m still playing with the light rail speeds and pause times but I seem to have it dialled in now I think. I will also be doing another water change and adding flower nutrients sometime this week. ****Added 7 gal of fresh water to the reservoir on day 38. Added full strength Remo lineup for flowering to the 7 gal added to reservoir. I started to tie down/tuck the larger branches to the net as well.

Day 46 of Flower, 93 since germination. Starting to check the trichomes with my new wifi microscope. Looks like Lemon Extract has a scattering of amber trichome heads, but only in bud nearest the light. All other look milky and glassy. I'm thinking Lemon Extract might harvest in one week. The others, maybe two weeks. Gave the ladies their last feeding today. Just PH balanced water from here til harvest.

The size of the colas on this plant is unbelievable. 8 to 10 inches long and as big around as a soda can. 20-30 days left and this dank beast is gonna be heavy!

everything is fine, the rains have stopped and it seems that the plants are quite mature, I think I will harvest them next week. It has been 2 weeks without watering with fertilizer, making the washing of roots as natural as possible. They have developed a very beautiful purple color in just 2 weeks, because of the stress caused by the cold. I have also found some worm and some rotten bud but usually it is holding very well. I found a leaf of a very powerful pink color, much more than I had ever seen, and that color is not repeated throughout the plant, I leave some photos. chekit

The pound cake auto is really taking off. I’m happy I didn’t top the plant and just let it do its thing. It’s gonna have big long bugs all over the whole plant is just gonna be nugs. Not sure what I did with this plant but I got the roots perfect this time and it’s showing it the growth of the plant

Made a minor tweak with with the SCROG method on the CS strain this week, I removed the net completely to allow the stems to shoot straight up. Added molasses to my feeding this week, hopefully it does what I expect as the budding sites on both plants are beginning to thicken.

Little late on the upload of the diary. She has made day 56 with no real issues. Minor leaf damage from a few pests. The weather has been mostly sunny with 2 days of rain. Purple hues are starting to show up in the buds!😍

The little is growing really really good,so much that i had to defoliate on day 30,earlier than i anticipated. Hope she will like🤞🤞 On day 33 she's Still really growing well,getting more thirsty day by day. Will do another defoliation on week 6,hoping to be last before harvest

My biggest harvest yet, 385g dry oh my god. Never thought hydro could yield sp much so fast. And fastbuds genetics helping me achieve that. The strain is so potent we smoked a joint 4 people and had to put it out bwcause everyone got so stoned. Wonderful. But curing now so im looking forward to those terpz and maybe a little else you never know what surprises beholds. Hsy out!
