Hey yall! Happy New Year!!! 😊 🎆 🎇 🌟 🤩 Hope yall are having a great Holiday season. In an attempt to finish this harvest early, as stated previously, I am switching to 12/12 lighting for the flowering period this week! Super stoked as the girls are looking good and have a canopy that is mildly acceptable to me, if I had more time and a larger tent, and not a baby on the way I would veg more. But it's all good, because I wasn't the most confident in Beaver Seeds, although their genetics looks good, there are so soooo many great breeders out there. Anyways I topped the shorter girl early this week and topped the taller girl just about 3 days ago, she has recovered enough for me to feel comfortable to switch to flowering. Also the leaves on my tall girl's right side was getting burnt from my humidifier being too close and the moisture droplets started to fry under the bright LEDs. Temperatures are almost always fluctuating, that and trying to maintain an ideal VPD has been most struggling. Although I haven't dialed in my grow area, and changed where I was growing twice. Get it dialed! Get it dialed! I did at Fermented Irish Sea Moss, I obviously did not collect this from the ocean since I am nowhere near Ireland. But I had it on hand and it was going to waste. Use what you have locally or what would go to waste. Also made some new Fermented Aloe, very easy and I highly recommend it! Also just ordered a C02 meter, adding some DIY C02 with yeast, water and baking soda. Will let yall know how effective it is and get back to you on recipe info. Esta es mi primer planta que cosechó con éxito, y estoy muy feliz con mi resultado final 😄 obtuve una muy buena cantidad de flores premium con alrededor de 15% de thc (desde mi punto de vista claro 😅) Tuve algunos problemas durante el cultivo, principalmente que deje que se estirara mucho, debi hacerle LST a la punta principal para que no siguiera aumentando la altura y tener más flores del mismo tamaño, las flores más bajas quedaron chicas y les faltó madurar un poco, también tuve problemas de sobrefertilizacion aun a pesar de que seguí las instituciones de los fertilizantes y de sus indicaciones que me dieron los de servicio al cliente, incluso ya teniendo en cuenta eso siempre use la menos de la dosis de la base ya hasta que crecieron más le fui aumentando, igual creo que es muy cierto lo que dicen de que “menos es más” a la próxima empezaré usando muy pocos nutrientes, aparte creo que si hubiera usado unos leds más potentes, las plantas hubieran aprovechado más los nutrientes, pero igual me sirvió de experiencia, pienso cultivar de nuevo esta genética y sacarle más provecho. Gas tax x obama runtz I still have 2 of these plants going. One kf them is strong and rooting well the other is the smallest plant in the tent. It's leaves have nit grown in size much the past week. I'm thinking it's roots are tied up weird or it's just a weak plant. If I did not have a thing for even numbers I'd prob toss the 2nd plant but who wants 9 plants when you have 10 This past week all the plants did great dealing with getting repotted and topped in the same week. I definitely took a Rick doing that seeing i only left each plant with 4 leaves. This past week was also a struggle to keep the vpd in a decent range. The Temps outside have been below 32 for a few days with Temps dipping down to almost 0 at night. With the space heater running it's pulling the humidity down. I think I have figured out the solution to that problem so I won't run into that next time it gets cold again. All the plants have really started to grow their new branches sense being topped. A few of the plants are a little smaller than I'd like but I'm gonna keep em alive for now.

Yeah this Strain is amazing! She just started to build Buds, and already started to be sticky asf too :-) What i notice the last Days is... When i give here today 2 L of Nutrients/Water, i have to give her tomorrow again because the Soil is dry... So i think she want to be big? Lets see lets see

New flowering continues to develop on this lady, she seems to be swelling up day by day. Yellowing of the fan leaves has started which usually means it's time to flush, I need to check the trichomes to see how amber they appear before I do just in case the flavour or yield could be effected.

The plant is now absolutely in the final phase. The trichomes already look very good under the microscope. We expect to harvest at the weekend. The purple discoloration looks absolutely beautiful :)

Our beautiful girls have plant louses 😱 So yesterday we made a brew of garlic and sprinkeld all of the plants, also the ground of the growbox - after cleaning up everything. So we hope this works. Have anyone experience with the small green monsters? We would be grateful for some suggestions.

Seguimos avanzando en esta pequeña historia de nuestras Jelly Donutz, y esta semana ya se empieza a notar que las protagonistas han decidido ponerse serias con la producción de flores. 🌿🌺 Después de comparar con la semana 4, el cambio es bastante evidente: los cogollos están más gordos, más formados y mucho más cargados de resina. Los tricomas empiezan a hacerse realmente protagonistas y cada semana se nota más el potencial de estas tres pequeñas glotonas. 🍓 Sprinkles sigue avanzando con muy buen ritmo. Comparada con la semana pasada, se aprecia más volumen en los cogollos y bastante más resina. Las flores están ganando cuerpo y empiezan a tener ese aspecto compacto y escarchado que estábamos esperando. Se mantiene muy cargada de puntas y parece estar aprovechando muy bien esta fase de floración. 🍓✨ 🍁 Maple está haciendo su camino, aunque esta semana hemos detectado algo que merece atención: se empieza a notar una falta de nitrógeno, especialmente en el follaje. No parece haber frenado el desarrollo floral, ya que los cogollos continúan engordando y acumulando resina, pero queremos corregir esa carencia y ajustaremos el aporte de nitrógeno en el próximo riego para intentar mantenerla equilibrada mientras continúa llenando las flores. Por lo demás, la evolución respecto a la semana 4 es muy buena: más tamaño, más estructura floral y más resina. 🌸 🍰 Glaze va un poquito más lenta que sus hermanas. Se nota que todavía necesita algo más de tiempo para alcanzar el mismo nivel de desarrollo, aunque también está formando buenos cogollos y progresando semana a semana. Las plantas han decidido que necesitan tener personalidades diferentes. 😂 La diferencia respecto a la semana anterior existe, pero en Glaze el engorde está siendo algo más pausado. Seguimos observando su evolución sin perder de vista que todavía queda floración por delante. La evolución general es muy positiva: - 🌸 Cogollos más gordos y definidos. - ✨ Mayor cantidad de resina visible. - ? Los tricomas empiezan a destacar muchísimo más. - 🌿 Las flores están adquiriendo cada vez más estructura y densidad. - 🍓 Sprinkles mantiene un ritmo muy bueno. - 🍁 Maple presenta una ligera carencia de nitrógeno que corregiremos en el próximo riego. - 🍰 Glaze continúa algo más lenta, pero sigue desarrollando flores. 🌡️ Parámetros de esta semana Temperatura: 24 °C Humedad: 50 % EC: 1.8 Foco: 70 % a 70 cm En resumen, la semana nos deja muy buenas sensaciones. Las tres están avanzando, los cogollos están engordando y la resina empieza a cubrirlas cada vez más. Sprinkles y Maple están especialmente llamativas en esta etapa, mientras que Glaze se toma las cosas con un poco más de calma. 👋 Raising the Carbon-to-Nitrogen (C:N) ratio in the growing medium to avoid over-immobilizing nitrogen, on the flip side, being careful not to trigger early autophagy. Moderate, controlled increases in sugar support the energetic demands of flowering and act as a signal trigger, but excess sugar is more likely to inhibit flowering or damage the plant. Balance, like everything else. Visually, when the chloryphyll green gets darker, it is a subtle indicator that the concentration of nitrogen is increasing / more is being stored than is being used. Noticed when you push very high intensity lighting, it slowly fades the green as the plant degrades chloryphyll faster than it can be replenished. When the green of the leaf continually gets darker, it is an indication that the concentration levels of nitrogen are increasing, and I dont want to increase light intensity. Slow down the release of the nitrogen. C:N ratio dictates the rate at which nitrification occurs, if at all. The Carbon-to-Nitrogen (C:N) ratio acts as a critical biological "on/off switch" (or regulator) for nitrogen turnover by determining whether microbes immobilize (consume/tie up) or mineralize (release) nitrogen during the breakdown of organic matter. This ratio regulates microbial activity by defining the balance between available energy (carbon) and building materials (nitrogen). The C:N ratio in a medium acts as a critical regulator of nitrification, effectively functioning as an "on/off" switch for the dominance of either autotrophic nitrifying bacteria or heterotrophic bacteria. The shade of green in chlorophyll is subtly linked to the enzyme Rubisco through a co-evolutionary, functional relationship designed to optimize photosynthesis. Chlorophyll absorbs blue and red light for energy, reflecting green light, a process that ensures the "light-dependent" reactions provide the correct, controlled amount of energy (ATP and NADPH) needed by Rubisco to perform its "light-independent" carbon fixation. Because Rubisco is a relatively inefficient and slow enzyme—often considered the bottleneck of photosynthesis—chlorophyll and the overall structure of the leaf have evolved to manage energy distribution to prevent overwhelming the Calvin cycle. While chlorophyll absorbs mainly red and blue light, it is not perfectly efficient, and leaves appear green because some green light is reflected or transmitted. This reflection allows light to penetrate deeper into the leaf, preventing the surface chloroplasts from becoming overloaded and enabling a more efficient distribution of energy to the high volume of Rubisco located throughout the leaf's mesophyll. The rate of chlorophyll-driven electron transport (light reactions) is matched to the potential rate of carbon fixation (Rubisco activity). If Rubisco were faster, leaves might be darker; however, the "shade of green" represents a balance that prevents chlorophyll from producing more energy than the inefficient Rubisco can process. The green color itself is a byproduct of a photosynthetic system tailored to feed a slow, yet crucial, enzyme (Rubisco) just enough energy to maximize carbon assimilation without inducing excessive oxidative stress or inefficiency. The shade of green in leaves is directly linked to the concentration of chlorophyll, which is in turn strongly correlated with the amount of Rubisco (Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase) and, consequently, the rate of carbon fixation. Darker green leaves generally indicate a higher concentration of both chlorophyll and Rubisco, signifying greater capacity for photosynthesis. Increase demand for growth or reduce rate of release. I'm looking to keep that nice, healthy green.

well im at the end of week 2 flower everything is going Great not a lvl as I hoped but every Bud is getting a lot of light Things look promising I belive this will be a decent harvest. I will change some things next grow I got a new 4x4 Gorilla grow tent with a NEW SET OF 5 Gal Air pots and another batch of living Soil AKA SUPER SOIL Ill explain how come living soil makes a huge difference when using a soil medium. Ill dump a lot of up comning changes and why next time till the Stay Safe Stay Stoned Day 20 flower off to a awesome start the bottom is leafless with good air flow dropping tempts down now trying to Draw out the purple and other colors I cleared out everything with low pistil put out to allow air and room for the hearty buds

All done with the growing, now time for the long arduous harvest 😸🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️✨. Started the harvest on day 63 of flower, I’ve not just checked their trichomes with a loop or anything, but I’m happy with how they look. The smell is very intense. Slightly worrying in all honesty 👀 filter is really struggling, contemplating getting out my spare extractor fan&filter just while it all drys. Maybe two filters will scrub the smell completely. It’s a lovely smell, Sour Tangy Sherb, but now an extremely heavy gassy wall of smell has permeated everything. Pretty much all the buds have turned purple, just a few of the lowers are a pale green, but that’s to be expected. I’m in the process of cutting them all up into individual branches, giving them a quick wet trim, then hanging them on hangers. I’m aiming for around 10 days drying, then a final trim and into jars for curing. This was the final run of the MotorOG, it’s been a fun strain to run 😸 another decent one from LIT Farms. Buenas a tod@s... Octava semana de flora de las runtz x layer cake de barneys farm... Más allá de las marcas de "excesos" en las hojitas( aunque está no tanto como las demás variedades), q no se x q x q no me paso y a pesar de que podría estar más altas y anchas ( fallo mío) la planta está DPM..🔥⚡🤯😱 está y se la ve compactada y tanto está como las demás, se las nota que pesan, que prometen y que yo no subestimaria x su altura, están muy bien y ya en la etapa casi final... Ya no les queda mucho, en verdad el calendario marca que ya está en etapa final, pero les falta aún más días, disfruten del paisaje que en breve se nos va 🙏🏻🙌🏻💪🏻💪🏻😎⚕️ 🇦🇷🤝🏻🇪🇦

Ho sistemato LST giornalmente perché continuano a crearsi nuove ramificazioni e gemme ovunque. Sto irrigando con 0.5L di acqua ogni giorno, ma credo dovrò passare a 1lt perché l’assorbe subito. Giorno 35 - l’apicale si é spezzato al 50% ho provveduto subito a mettergli del nastro di carta intorno e fargli un sostegno sotto per reggerlo nella sua posizione. Immagino che ora se dovesse sopravvivere avrà un blocco di qualche giorno. *Giorno 35 h.20.30 dopo solamente 6 ore l’apicale ha iniziato ad alzarsi da solo staccandosi dal sostegno, assurdo!
