Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of flowering. I'm a bit bummed about this grow. I've read that you just need to force a plant to flower, that's 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark for the first 3 weeks (I had a tent inside the greenhouse) and then put it outside and it will continue to flower. I thought that was amazing, so I wanted to give it a try. Well, here we are at the end of the 7th week and it looks like the plants are going back into veg. Last year I didn't do up the tent for the last 2 weeks and everything was fine so I thought I would give this keeping it open after the 3rd week a try. Now I know. I can always turn it into hash, maybe dry ice hash. Here's another reason I'm bummed about this grow. I've got spider mites. I'm doing my best to knock them down with my hypochlorous acid. I'm spraying twice a week, but had some yellowish looking leaves, I reread the article (I put up a pic of it a few of weeks ago) and found I had to rinse the indoor plants. So after I sprayed the 1/2 strength acid I waited 10 minutes and rinsed with water. Today I can see more mites than when I sprayed before. So next time I'll wait till the 1/2 acid mix is dry before I rinse the leaves and see if that knocks them down more. If you don't try new things you don't learn. That's what this grow is about, to see if the plants can still keep flowering at my latitude and now that I have mites, to see if the hypochlorous acid will work without killing the plants. Yes, I'm 60 something and still learning. 😃 Be Great. Chuck.

The seed was immersed for 12 hours in water with three drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide 11.01. Then it was immersed in a peat tablet. After throwing off the helmet, the tablet was placed in a 1 L cloth bag. Cloth bag about 15 liters Earth will be used in its own assembly: sour peat, sphagnum peat, Biohumus, perlite, vermiculite, GUANOKALONG, krill meal, bone meal, fish meal, dolomite flour, ash, sapropel, English salt. I also use trichoderma, mycorrhiza, some bacteria and organic stimulants Italian company Valagro. 80% is super soil, and 20% on top is soil for seedlings. The main pot watered Trichoderma lignorum before planting the seedling. I used the method of sprouting in a peat pad for the first time - did not like it. Better in a napkin. The first cloth pot of 1 liter is also a bad option. Next time I will take a 0.3-0.5 l paper cup for drinks.

Watermelon 🍉 is maturing very well. Nice and dense, frosty buds! She's finished growing now, so concentrating next on just flower nutes. The plant is very small due to my terrible attempt at LST! 😅 27.2.25: Watermelon 🍉 and Purple Lemonade 💜🍋 are both far below the scrog net, they've definitely stopped stretching now. My LST on these was much worse than even just using the net. 😅 That was certainly a valuable takeaway. I'm sure Purple Lemonade 💜🍋 will be good. Watermelon 🍉 was so stunted. It's not a tall strain, usually either, but nevertheless, the buds there are looking very frosty and are very, very sticky! 😅 Should be a good smoke, eventually, 🤗 just won't be much to bag unfortunately.

Second week of flower and my ladys have all grown rapidly in the last week bud seem to be blooming already at a decent size also main stem has gone quite thick.

What a great week! We only gave them their nutrients once this week, and it seemed to be just enough for the girls. They're all fighters and are showing it every day. The greenhouse is starting to work in our favor during the day because when it was humid enough, the temperature was perfect. One of the girls, Osaka, started to grow rapidly, and we noticed that it may have been due to the fact that she was collecting the rainwater that had seeped inside the greenhouse. The rainwater had just the right pH to allow her to grow not only rapidly but beautifully. It was very unexpected at first, and now she's starting to look like our shining star. One of them, Ben, also looks like she's flowering a little, but we're not sure what to do since it's still a little early... Hoping for the best and, as always, hoping for rain!

It’s pretty cool to see how a plant can grow so fast! My nephew told me this could really be therapeutic for me so far so good! I’m new to all of this and I’m starting to want to learn more I have about 9 more seeds left all auto. Photos kind of have me intimidated with all of the videos I’ve seen on YouTube…if you have any advice on them please send it my way. I want to know more about photoperiods. -Uncle Cabbage

FINAL WEEK OF VEG FINAL WEEK OF VEG! Ayyyye let’s gooooooo ! Got a second lollipop done on this girl about 2 or 3 days ago . I did a little damage to a branch that has taken longer than one day to recover . At the time of this update I have yet to check on it again after taping it up to see if it is still limp . I may lose that branch RIP. I decided to take the tape off my other branch I broke while stretching her down under the net a while back figuring it’s been enough weeks for that to scar over . She healed beautifully ! The last of the Mohicans are here ! My new untested ORGANIC base bloom nutrients have arrived via mail today . I have been holding off on positing this update until now 1. to get a good difference in growth 2. To avoid needing to repeat having to defoliate an ADDITIONAL time before flipping to flower . I’m going to do a defoliation light-moderate I don’t think a heavy one is needed but I am a little trigger happy when it comes to defoliation 😂. I plan to do one FINAL MAJOR DEFOLIATION AROUND WEEK 3 FLOWER to try and get an awesome HIGH bud to leaf ratio idk how I keep picking these strains with high leaf to bud ratios I’d like less maintenance as we all would right? Still haven’t figured out what I’ll do with these clones as I don’t want to flower them they’d be trash bud underneath this mother clucker. Don’t forget the new Timelapse I started 2 weeks ago to capture our 5x5 Cereal Milk by RQS Flower up! Lastly I decided against making more clones when I did this second lollipopping sinc so already don’t know what I’m gonna do with the few successful clowns I managed to make from the last experiment. I’m really hoping this resilient girl turns out to be a 🔥DANK PHENO THAT HAS SOME TASTY POTENT BUD bc having a few clones lying around already would be golden. I’ll leave it there. This week marked the start of some serious shaping! Did a round of defoliation to improve airflow and light penetration, especially around the inner canopy. Started tucking the stretchy tops under the net to even out the canopy—Tart Pops is loving the structure and pushing out pistils steadily. Smell is starting to hint at something sweet and tangy — can't wait to see how she bulks up over the next couple weeks. Feeding schedule remains consistent, and the girls are thriving under the LED. I was unable to use the full power of the Optic 2 LED due to height and heat issues. This was impacting the amount of light each plant was receiving thus stunting their growth (you’ll see the before and after pictures above). I have now brought/installed the HLG 260w Rspec and have noticed a improvement. The new light covers the canopy well and I am now able to give the plants more light which will hopefully help them develop better buds. The Dos-Si-Dos have responded well and is really starting to pack on some weight and she is starting to form some nice buds I will continue to use my PK to help her along, next time I will start the PK at the first sign of flower as I feel from week 4 is a little late. Yooo 🖖🏽 Ladies are going well, buds are growing nicely and now that im in the middle of it im expecting them to get even fatter. I dont see any problem but please if you see any let me know :) In my plan they have 4 weeks still with full nutes and a good week of flush. Same open to opinion on that ! Thank you 🖖🏽🖖🏽

To finish the cycle, I left the plants in complete darkness for the last 3 days, combined with low temperatures to enhance color, resin production, and terpene expression. This final stress pushed maturity and brought out beautiful tones — especially noticeable in the pink pheno and frostier colas. Plants were then harvested on April 11, 2024, after 66 days of flowering.

Update the to a 4x8 this week and added a HLG 300 V2 RSpec with the futur vert FM8 flora max 660watts pumping 960 watts now .. Every thing is stacking up an fattening up beautiful in week 4 , The frost is coming out like a snow storm now in to week 5 flower ... I’m very impressed with the bud size on the slurricane ix this early on !!
