The trichomes on some buds are already ripe, on others a little less so. I plan to harvest next Sunday, or I could opt to harvest those buds where the trichomes are already at the right ripeness. I've never done a separate harvest of buds, but it might be the first time.💪🍀🌴

Both phenos are healthy, lush, and stretching beautifully, clearly ready for the show ahead. ⸻ 📸 Photo Studio Glam We took them out for another studio shoot, bright lights, clean background, and every angle showing off their deep greens and perfect branching. Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable. But for flowering, we want to keep daytime temps closer to 24–28°C for optimal quality. ⸻ 💧 Watering Strategy We water when the soil dries to about 25% moisture remaining, this encourages: • Stronger root growth searching for water • Better oxygenation of the root zone • Less risk of root rot in warm temps Right now: They’re drinking daily due to the heat, so we’re feeding daily as well. ⸻ Current Feeding (per L of water) • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – 1 ml • Aptus Top Booster – 0.25 ml With the increased drinking rate, nutrient uptake has increased — meaning no signs of deficiency, just steady lush green. ⸻ 🚀 Looking Ahead • AC installation will stabilize temps, allowing tighter VPD control • First signs of pistils should appear within the next 7–10 days • We’ll begin adjusting feed ratios for early bloom once flowers set • Light intensity will climb further as stretch continues ⸻ 💚 Closing Note: This week is all about momentum, heat or no heat, the Lava Cakes are pushing upward, prepping themselves for a heavy flower load. This was the final week. Very satisfied with this harvest. She was just in the process to turn beautifully reddish/purple - but trichomes were exactly at the right point for harvesting so with a heavy heart she got the axe! Will update this one with actual dried flower pictures as well as a smoke/vape report in the coming days.

This week has been time to put on weight!! They are getting so heavy glad put in secondary scrog net. Have only been doing water so plants can just pull what they want our the soil they are starting to fade on their own. They have some amazing kinda blue tent to the buds. They have a gassy sweet smell to them! This will be the last week I feel but still see some clear heads and no amber so shall see over next week!!

SCROGING is an amazing technique that I will get better at but this being my first real attempt I clearly see how important it is to get everything cleaned up under the net. I’m not touching anything now and I’ll just do better next time. Anyways my garden looks really good, and the buds look real good and my canopy is pretty even. I mean it’s 4 or 5 inches off and if I would have tucked one more time I could have got things a bit more even. The Grand daddy purples buds are definitely going to be lighter. The vanilla frostings buds are going to dense and thick. If I take what I’ve seen from the past couple harvests my light will really turn these buds into little dense monsters. The viperspectra PAR1200 is a good light and makes heavy dense buds. I highly recommend the PAR1200 for a 3 x 3 space. Happy 420! Update - I think I missed 1 week in my grow. Today’s the last day of week 4 and I gave the girls a little trim today and cleaned those big fan leaves off. What a difference a little trim makes! I took these new photos about 8 hours after their trim. All those buds sites that were being covered reached out and here’s a few pictures of what was underneath. Have a great weekend!

This is week 10 and, according to Royal Queen Seeds, this plant should be 55 inches but mine is 30 inches. I am impressed by its easy, rapid grow timeline. This may be due to the awful heat that we have had!! Excruciating. Royal Queen Seeds website said that Dosidos buds are packed and the are!! My cola is quite packed and very large. It is very sticky right now and smells very much like the website says, "crisp, sweet, skunky." I clipped a bud off of the side of the plant so I could get some goods pictures of its trichomes. I was going to take it down but the close up pictures told me I should give it another week. Our weather has cooled down quite a bit this week. It's in the 80's and should allow this plant to reach its fullest potential. And don't let me forget, I will flush with fresh water this week and I did some defoliating of my fan leaves so you could see how big Miss Dosidos cola truly is. Take a look. 21.07. Harvested 1 small plant + majority of middle plant. And tried sample of last weeks dry out trial. What a great smoke, very mellow smoke, intense high.

my other tent was small. She went through stress twice because of my dog. He dug up the roots but she survived. looks strong and healthy.

Hi@all, this is the last week in the vegetative phase. Starting tomorrow it will be switched to 12/12. Looks quite good to my taste, except for too much light and too little fertilizer. Both light and fertilizing are somewhat under control for now (hopefully) I continue to enjoy trying to adjust all the values of the plant/nutritions and environment correctly and finding out what works well and what doesn’t. While crucial, their uptake and utilization rely on ATP-driven processes. Oxygen is vital for cellular respiration, a process that generates ATP. Edging along. Less leggy now. Would probably benefit from longer hours of light, but my Haze is in third week of flowering and 12/12 is mandatory just now. Haven't filled the DWC pot yet. Once a week I dip the rockwool in a weak Ionic Hydro Grow solution. That's all she gets, for now.

it was a quite rewarding process. not many things to say. I enjoyed every second with the plants.

Even with the heat she has given me quite a big yield and that's with lack of watering and also training badly so I could have got a better yield if I have had paid more attention to her so until next time ✌️ out my fellow Growmies

She is near her end now and just smelling so god dam good . Very skunky which I like and the over all density of the buds is good as well .. I'm gonna chop her next week she has great tricohmes and lots of sticky buds. The guys at seedstockers make some good seeds . I'm happy with the strain and outdoors she would be a real good producer but a smelly one as well .. she hasn't liked strong fertilizers so I've had to feed her light .. next time she will do better indoors ..
