With this being my fourth grow...I’ve realized the best way to germinate cannabis seeds is by sprinkling it in the Grow medium and just watering daily...let seed sink as opposed to letting it soak in water which worked for me before but it takes away the dangers of transferring the seeds from a glass of water to soil. 1 year ago this January I germinated my first grow and I had a good harvest because of the dry season stepping in the Caribbean...I am definitely looking forward to a fine grow with some males and females so I can expand my seed storage.

Day 24-31 (Day 25) The smell in here is absolutely ridiculous. My last grow didn’t smell even close to this bad in early flower. (Day 27) Stretch is finally all done. #6 in the back is very stout and barely stretched compared to everything else. I doubt it will yield much but I’m excited to see the nice tight colas on it. It seems to be still getting adequate light and raising it up is hard to do with a scrog net so I will just leave it. If it wasn’t getting enough light it would be stretching right? The early frost is really shocking to me. My last indoor round definitely wasn’t this caked and I’ve never had an outdoor plant on this level either. That’s also true in terms of smell too. (Day 29) I’m still debating whether I should feed anything in flower or just leave it. The only deficiency I’m seeing is purple stems from P def which could actually just be from light intensity rather than a lack of P. I’ve done some thinking and I’ve decided to only feed my small plant. What I’m most curious about is if a PK boost will actually make any kind of a difference in flower when it comes to bud size and smokability. So to test this theory I will be top dressing a teaspoon of 0-18-0 bat guano, a tablespoon of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and a half strength watering of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m trying to avoid N all together as I just toxed my guinea pig plants with another experimental flowering PK boost that had a very small amount of N in it. This plant in particular actually has very early signs of N def and probably will fade harder than the rest. (Day 31) Shit. Looks like #1 is starting to herm. It’s definitely not environment or light leaks so maybe it’s just genetic or the recent leaching stressed it out too much. Either way, it’s only a single lower branch and I’m prepared to cut her down if I start seeing anymore. I double checked every other budsite but couldn’t find anymore. In my experience true herms usually start pushing bananas out of the main tops and plants like mine can usually be salvaged with little to no seeded bud. But then again it’s day 31, when these things usually start to happen. I’m 50/50 on this one. I will be watching it everyday like a hawk if anymore show up. The breeder I’m using, ‘Jordan of the Island’s’ is notorious for having unstable genetics and this will be the last time I run any of his stuff. The quality is good, certainly better than most European and Dutch genetics I’ve run but I know I could do better where genetics are concerned. I can’t wait to start hunting my archive dosidos x gelato 41 and in house sugarcane.

All looking good so far, the two thunderfucks are really bulking and the gorilla cookies are still stretching but starting to bulk. Smell is lovely so sweet. Hopefully about 2-3 weeks to go and thinking of what I want to do next.

Well, here is the harvest. I looked through a jeweler's magnifier, saw yellow trichomes and cut down the plants. 2 days trimmil, tired. Cool groove turned out. I'll post the weight later when it's dry. Let's try to pull the diary of the month? So what did we get. In the general photo, dense buds - 720 grams. (3 cans and a container). There were still small buds , did not weigh. And sugar trim - in the photo, with small small cones.

German version below. This week was all about training for The Tropical Ice Cream One. After having great success with a second SCROG net on our Permanent Marker, we decided to use the same approach for this grow. We picked up a new SCROG system at Mary Jane, and this week it finally got its first real job. Setting up the net was the easy part. The real work started afterwards. Branch by branch, we carefully tucked every shoot into the second net and repositioned it. Our goal was to create an even canopy so every future bud site receives as much light as possible and can develop to its full potential. It took several hours of patience, but the result was definitely worth the effort. The height difference across the entire canopy is currently only 2 centimeters. That is exactly what we aim for when building an even SCROG canopy. Now it is time to keep our hands off and let her do the rest. She handled the training exceptionally well and can now settle into her new shape over the next few days. We are excited to see how the second SCROG net will influence flower development and yield during the coming weeks. After all the stress from the training session, she was rewarded with an extra serving of Bio Heaven and Acti Vera as a little treat. 😁 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Diese Woche stand bei der The Tropical Ice Cream One ganz im Zeichen des Trainings. Nachdem wir mit der Permanent Marker sehr gute Erfahrungen mit einem zweiten SCROG Netz gemacht haben, wollten wir dieses Konzept auch bei dieser Pflanze umsetzen. Auf der Mary Jane haben wir uns dafür ein neues SCROG System gegönnt, das nun endlich zum Einsatz kam.Der Aufbau war schnell erledigt, die eigentliche Arbeit begann aber erst danach. Trieb für Trieb wurde vorsichtig in das zweite Netz eingefädelt und neu ausgerichtet. Ziel war es, eine möglichst gleichmäßige Verteilung der zukünftigen Blüten zu erreichen, damit jede ausreichend Licht bekommt und sich optimal entwickeln kann.Das hat einige Stunden Geduld gekostet, aber das Ergebnis spricht für sich. Der Höhenunterschied über die gesamte Zeltfläche beträgt aktuell gerade einmal zwei Zentimeter. Genau so stellen wir uns ein gleichmäßig trainiertes Blütendach vor. Jetzt heißt es erstmal Finger weg und wachsen lassen. Die Pflanze hat das Training hervorragend mitgemacht und darf sich in den nächsten Tagen in ihrer neuen Form entfalten. Wir sind gespannt, wie sich das zusätzliche SCROG Netz in den kommenden Blütewochen auf Ertrag und Blütenentwicklung auswirken wird. Nach dem Stress des Trainings hat sie eine extra Portion Bio Heaven und Activera als kleines "Leckerlie" bekommen. 😁

Week 5 ----------------------------- 🇺🇸 Zamnesia Green Goblin is doing really well. The roots are nicely developed and densely grown. The plants are giving off a pleasant aroma and are responding well to LST. Topping also worked out great. Growth has slowed down a bit, probably because the plants are now learning that nutrients first need to be processed by the soil life. Nutrients are applied following the Bio Tabs schedule. Das Wachstum ist etwas verlangsamt, vermutlich weil die Pflanzen nun lernen müssen, dass die Nährstoffe erst durch das Bodenleben umgewandelt werden müssen. Leider ist ein Trieb beim LST gebrochen und abgestorben. 💙 Project Blue Tent – Week 11 🥒 Pickle Lemon Haze F1 – Pheno B 🌸 When Seeds Start Looking Like Clones Hello everyone, and welcome back to another chapter of Project Blue Tent! 💙🌱 And this week... I have to start with something that honestly keeps making me smile every time I walk into this tent. These girls... they are starting to look like clones. 😂💙 Now, obviously, they're not clones. We're growing them from seed. But when you look at the way these Pickle Lemon Haze F1 cultivars are developing under the exact same conditions... it's becoming increasingly difficult not to notice just how incredibly uniform they are. Same vigorous growth. Same beautiful structure. Same flowering progression. Same impressive frost. Same general canopy development. And now... remarkably similar flower formation. It's fascinating. And Pickle Lemon Haze F1 Pheno B absolutely deserves her own spotlight this week. Because even though she's sharing the same tent, the same reservoir and the same environment as her sisters... she's still telling us her own story. And right now? Her story looks beautiful. 🥒🌸💙 🌸 WEEK 11 – SHE'S REALLY STARTING TO SHINE Pickle Lemon Haze F1 Pheno B continues looking absolutely fantastic. The major structural work has already been completed. The stretch has settled. The canopy is established. The second SCROG is doing its job. The airflow is working beautifully. The irrigation is keeping up with her. And now the flowers are becoming the main event. That's exactly where I want to be at this stage. We're no longer trying to build the plant. We're watching the plant build the flowers. And Pheno B is doing that extremely well. The flowering sites are developing very evenly throughout the canopy. The plant is maintaining a beautiful structure. And the frost... Oh my God. 😂❄️ The frost levels are absolutely gorgeous. Every time I look closer, I find another part of the plant covered in trichomes. And we're still not finished yet. 🌿 SAME TENT – BUT SHE DESERVES HER OWN STORY One of the most interesting things about Project Blue Tent is that all these plants are sharing the same ecosystem. Same room. Same tent. Same reservoir. Same irrigation. Same nutrition. Same lighting. Same environmental conditions. Same cultivation philosophy. And yet we're documenting each phenotype individually. Why? Because even when plants look incredibly similar... they're still individual plants. And that's exactly what I want to capture. Pheno B isn't just another plant in the tent. She's Pickle Lemon Haze F1 Pheno B. And she's showing us what that particular plant can do. Right now, what she's showing us is: vigour. Uniformity. Beautiful flower development. And an absolutely ridiculous amount of frost. 😂🥒❄️ WHEN CULTIVARS START LOOKING LIKE CLONES This is something I really wanted to mention this week. Looking at these plants side by side... sometimes I genuinely have to remind myself that we're looking at seed-grown plants. Because they are remarkably similar. The growth pattern. The structure. The way the flowers are forming. The timing. The frost. Even the overall appearance of the canopy. It's almost like somebody took cuttings from the same mother and put them into the same room. But that's not what we're doing. These are seed-grown F1 cultivars. And that level of uniformity is one of the things that makes this experiment so interesting. I wouldn't call them clones. Because they aren't. But visually? Sometimes they certainly make a convincing impression of them. 😂💙 And that's something I love about documenting a project like this. You don't have to decide beforehand what the plants are going to do. You give them a consistent environment... and then you observe what happens. And right now... what's happening is extremely impressive. 🌸 PHENO B'S FLOWER DEVELOPMENT The flowering structure is becoming more and more defined now. The flowers are stacking along the branches. The white pistils are still very prominent. And the sugar leaves are becoming increasingly covered in visible resin. The whole plant is starting to transition from: "beautiful flowering plant" to: "Okay... this is becoming serious." 😂❄️🌸 The density is developing. The structure is holding. And the flowers are appearing extremely even across the canopy. That's one of the things I particularly appreciate about Pheno B. She doesn't look like she's struggling to keep up. She looks comfortable. She's drinking. She's flowering. She's building. And she's doing it consistently. 🕸️ THE X-CROSS UNDER-CANOPY LIGHTING This week we also continued with the updated under-canopy lighting arrangement. After introducing the second LumiFlora light, we decided not to simply place the two long bars side by side. Where's the fun in that? 😂 Instead, we arranged them in an X-cross configuration. These are approximately 1.20 metre-long bars, with the central section around one metre, which gives us enough length to position them from corner to corner underneath the canopy. And honestly? I really like the result. It looks fantastic. But more importantly... it makes sense for the shape of the room. We're creating a more distributed source of supplemental light underneath the canopy rather than concentrating everything in one area. The overhead LEDs continue doing the primary work. The LumiFlora fixtures are there to complement them. And now we have light coming into the plant from another direction. Above. Below. And the canopy in between. It's a very interesting setup. And now... we watch. That's the fun part. 💡 LIGHT FROM ABOVE AND BELOW With plants this large, the lower canopy naturally receives less direct light from the main fixtures. That's simply a consequence of having a mature, structured canopy. Instead of constantly trying to remove more foliage to expose every lower flowering site... we're experimenting with another solution. Supplemental lighting. The LumiFlora fixtures are giving us another tool to explore how the lower canopy responds during flowering. And with the second fixture now in the game... the distribution is even more interesting. I'm particularly curious to see how the flowers positioned deeper inside the canopy respond as we move further through flowering. Will they continue developing at the same rate? Will we see differences in the lower structure? Will the additional light become noticeable as the flowers mature? Those are the questions. And once again... we're not going to guess. We're going to watch. ✂️ THE DEFOlIATION – NOW JUST A MEMORY It's also worth remembering where this plant came from. A few weeks ago, the canopy was incredibly dense. The stretch had been aggressive. The vertical space became limited. The LEDs needed to be raised. The extraction equipment had to be moved outside the tent. The canopy needed opening. And we performed a substantial defoliation. At the time... it was a completely different-looking plant. Now? You can barely believe how much she has recovered. The remaining foliage looks healthy. The branches are developing beautifully. The flowering sites are exposed. And the plant has completely settled into the architecture we created. That's the part I love. The intervention happened weeks ago. The plant had time to respond. And now we're looking at the result. This is where patience becomes part of the technique. We did the work. Now we let the plant do hers. 🌬️ AIRFLOW – EVERYTHING IS MOVING BEAUTIFULLY The airflow setup is also continuing without any drama. And that's exactly how I like it. Air is moving through the upper canopy. Additional circulation is working underneath. The canopy has been opened enough for the air to travel through the structure. And with the supplemental lighting now positioned underneath, maintaining that lower-level airflow remains important. We don't want stagnant pockets hidden inside the canopy. We want movement. Not a hurricane. 😂 Just consistent circulation. And right now... that's exactly what we're getting. The room feels balanced. The canopy is moving. The plants look comfortable. No complaints. 💧 IRRIGATION & DRAINAGE – SPOTLESS And once again, I have to give some credit to the irrigation and drainage system. Because honestly... it's doing exactly what we want it to do. The girls are drinking beautifully. The irrigation is keeping up. The distribution is consistent. And the drainage system is working spotless. No drama. No strange behaviour. No complaints. Just a system quietly doing its job. And when everything is working properly... that's when I like to leave it alone. 😂 The plants are happy. The irrigation is happy. I'm happy. Everybody wins. ⚗️ NUTRITION – SAME RESERVOIR, SLIGHTLY LOWER EC The nutrition remains consistent this week. We're still running the same reservoir recipe: PLAGRON Hydro A — 2.2 ml/L PLAGRON Hydro B — 2.2 ml/L PLAGRON Hydro Roots — 1 ml/L PLAGRON Power Buds — 1 ml/L pH Plus — 0.03 ml/L pH Min — 0.03 ml/L pH adjusted as required But despite making no changes to the reservoir mix... the EC came out slightly lower this week. We're sitting around: 2.24 mS/cm. Last week we were around 2.49 mS/cm. Why? Honestly... I have no clue. 😂 Maybe the rainwater was a little softer this time. Maybe the source water simply varied slightly. Maybe there's another small variable that we're not accounting for. I could invent a complicated explanation... but I'd rather be honest. I don't know. And that's okay. We record the number. We look at the plants. And we continue observing. Because the plants themselves are looking fantastic. They're drinking. They're flowering. They're developing. And they're not showing me any reason to panic. So we stay consistent. 🥒 PHENO B – VIGOROUS, EVEN AND FROSTY If I had to describe Pheno B this week using three words... vigorous. even. frosty. 😂❄️ The plant is developing with impressive consistency. The flowering sites are progressing together. The canopy remains beautifully organized. And the resin production is really starting to become one of the defining features of this girl. The frost isn't limited to one or two special flowers. It's appearing throughout the plant. And that's what makes these photos so satisfying. Everywhere you look... there's another frosty little flower asking for attention. 📸❄️🌸 🌸 HER OWN PERSONALITY Even though Pheno B looks remarkably similar to her sisters... she still has her own personality. And that's something I want to keep documenting. The whole point of having separate phenotype diaries is to allow us to follow those small differences. Maybe they're subtle now. Maybe they'll become more obvious later. Maybe one plant will suddenly start stacking differently. Maybe another will develop a different flower shape. Maybe the aroma will become the biggest difference. Maybe the final structure will tell us more. We don't know yet. And that's exactly why we're watching. Right now, though... Pheno B is telling us she's extremely happy. And I really like what she's saying. 🔬 SAME ENVIRONMENT – DIFFERENT PLANTS This is where the scientific side of Project Blue Tent becomes particularly interesting. We're controlling as many variables as possible. Same room. Same tent. Same reservoir. Same irrigation. Same lighting. Same nutrition. Same environmental conditions. And yet we're still dealing with individual plants. That gives us a fascinating opportunity to observe how these cultivars behave under consistent conditions. And right now... the most obvious result isn't huge variation. It's uniformity. 😂 They're incredibly similar. That's not something I expected to be quite this noticeable. And I'm very curious to see whether that continues as flowering progresses. 🌿 KNOWING WHEN NOT TO TOUCH Another thing this week has reinforced for me is how important it is to know when to stop intervening. There's always something you can do. You can remove another leaf. Move another branch. Change another setting. Add another product. Adjust another number. But... should you? 😂 Not necessarily. Pheno B is healthy. She's drinking. She's flowering. She's supported. The canopy is open. The airflow is working. The irrigation is working. The drainage is working. The nutrition is stable. The lighting is established. So what exactly are we trying to fix? Nothing. And that's a beautiful position to be in. Sometimes the best cultivation decision is simply: Leave her alone. 😂💙 ❄️ THE FROST IS GETTING SERIOUS I have to come back to the frost one more time. Because... WOW. 😂❄️ The whole tent is getting increasingly frosty. And Pheno B is absolutely holding her own. The sugar leaves are sparkling. The flowers are developing a beautiful resin-covered appearance. And the close-up photography is becoming ridiculous. Will these incredible similarities between the F1 cultivars continue? Will the individual personalities become more obvious later? And what will Pheno B ultimately show us when she reaches full maturity? We don't need those answers today. The plant will give them to us. Our job is simply to keep providing a stable environment... and pay attention. 🌸 FROM STRUCTURE TO FLOWERS For weeks, the story was about building the plant. Stretch. Training. Topping. SCROG. Canopy management. Defoliation. Airflow. Support. Light management. But now? The structure is already there. The framework has been built. The support is in place. The canopy is organized. And the plant is moving into the part of the story that really matters now: building the flowers. And Pheno B is doing an absolutely beautiful job of it. 💙 THE QUIET WEEKS ARE THE GOOD WEEKS This week wasn't dramatic. And honestly? That's perfect. 😂 No emergency. No major structural intervention. No broken branches. No huge changes. No chasing numbers. No trying to force the plants into something they're not. Just consistency. Observation. Maintenance. And appreciation. We introduced the second under-canopy light. We arranged the LumiFlora bars into the X-cross configuration. We monitored the reservoir. We noticed the slightly lower EC. We checked the irrigation. We checked the drainage. We watched the flowers. And then... we stepped back. Because sometimes that's the best thing a grower can do. 🥒 FINAL THOUGHTS – THIS GIRL DESERVES HER SPOTLIGHT Pickle Lemon Haze F1 Pheno B is absolutely shining this week. And even though she's sharing the exact same tent as her sisters... she deserves her own spotlight. She's vigorous. She's healthy. She's incredibly even. She's developing beautiful flowers. She's producing an amazing amount of frost. She's drinking beautifully. And she's responding extremely well to everything we've done throughout the project. The most fascinating part? She looks so similar to the other plants that sometimes I genuinely have to remind myself: These are not clones. 😂💙 They're seed-grown cultivars. And yet the uniformity is remarkable. That's something I want to continue watching very closely as we move deeper into flowering. Because maybe the biggest differences are still waiting for us. Or maybe these cultivars are simply going to continue showing us just how remarkably consistent they can be. Either way... I'm very happy to be here watching it happen. The structure is established. The flowers are forming. The frost is building. The lighting is coming from above and below. The irrigation is working. The drainage is spotless. And the girl is happy. Last 3 days for Harvest👨‍🌾

Bloom Feed Week 6: Cut down the EC faster than usual, because they seem to finish faster than planned. No more Voodoo Juice Plus, Big Bud and Rhinoskin. Just Base and Bloom and one last handfeed with Bud Factor X on monday. Did a last small defo on day 35 to open up the canopy. They are swelling up nicely and most trichs start to turn milky, resulting in some nice fruitsalat/strawberry banana gum aromas.

May 12, 2024 Day 22 A new week. A new watering and some noticable size and progress differences. Let's get to it. Sour Diesel A: She looks really good. About 5.5" and fairly strong. I expect her to harden off nicely. Sour Diesel B: By the most noticable difference in the bunch. This lady is a whole node ahead of the others. She looks amazing. I wonder if she is going to tower over the rest. I'll have to really focus on LST in the coming weeks. She already has a really stiff stem. Thick as well for her size. I'll have to be careful with the initial bend. She's also a out 6" tall. Not much taller than the others, but the ratio is noticable. Sour Diesel C: Just the same as Sour Diesel A. About 5.5" tall, great color and a pretty strong stem. Nothing really noticable between the two for now. Sour Diesel D: She is about 5" now. A bit shorter and a bit behind. However, she is about the same strength and progression as A and C. She will most likely end up small. So I'm definitely giving her her own tent. Sour Diesel B is getting a bit wide now. She's starting to get to the edge of the container. I need that not to happen yet. I won't have space on 4 days. Eek! I'll see how things go. The rest aren't that far behind either. They are just about at the edge of the container. Not as bad, and they won't be much of an issue for the next couple of days. All four plants got 1/4 gallon top watering today. I don't like to flood the soil as my bottom feed system does not. So it makes sense to start low and work my way up. Eventually they will take in about a gallon a day. But by then, they will be well off on their bottom feed systems. Anyway, 1/4 gallon plain tap water each. I've set the DLI to 25 mol/m²/d for the week. I don't think it's going to stay like that for very long. I don't have top space left and this is not a dimming light. So if I have to I can only drop the light down. The environment is looking excellent. I stopped using the humidifier since the watering brought the humidity up to 70% all on its own. I'll have it down to 60% by the end of the week. For now it's nearly perfect with a temp of 77° and the humidity at 71%. The night temp is a bit low for this stage. It's 64° at night. Very low. I'd rather it be closer to 70° during lights out. As soon as they go in the 3x3, it will be fine at 70° during lights out. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.9° RH: 72.7% VPD: 0.81 kPa May 13, 2024 Not much to do today. No watering needed, no light changes, no pics. Just planning out LST starting in the next day or 2, especially for Sour Diesel B. She is growing quickly and is starting to grow over her container rim. Sour Diesel A looks great! Long base stem, nodes are a bit tight, but it's not the light. It's just how she's growing for now. I expect her to stretch those nodes out in no time. Sour Diesel B is shaping out to be a pretty vigorous plant. If she keeps this up, she may end up towering over the other plants. I'll have to work on a plan of action. Most likely more LST and maybe a SCroG net for the stretch. Just to keep things low and level with the rest of the canopy. I plan on tying her top down at node 4. It's just starting, but it's super pliable and will be tall enough in a day or two. Sour Diesel C is just the same as A. She is sporting shorter internodal spacing but has a nice long base stem. Much easier to get under the plant when defoliation time comes. Sour Diesel D. Now this plant is still behind the others. She has the same tight internodal spacing like A and C, but smaller. Depending on what happens with how these plants grow, I might be able to keep her in the main tent with the rest of the plants. However, if she ends up too short or if B ends up being too tall, she's going in the 2x2. Hopefully she will end up as big as the others and I can put my 2x2 away for now. The light is going to stay the same while in the veg tent. I can't turn it down, nor can I lift it any higher, so the plants will have to naturally grow into it for the time being. It's should be perfectly fine. Plus it's only for a few more days. I'll be harvesting a couple of Tropicana Cookies in a couple of days and that'll open up plenty of space for these 4 smaller plants without cramming them in. That's where my only concern with Sour Diesel B comes in. She may grow faster and be too big to fit in the tent with the other 5 plants. I hope not. I have a final 2 plants almost ready for harvest in the 3x3. They aren't huge, so they shouldn't really overshadow these ladies. At least not much. The environment is spot on. 77° and 72% humidity. Night time is fine I guess. Kind of cold in my opinion. It's at 67° on average at night with a low of 63.4° and a high of 73.7°. That's for lights out. Daytime is perfectly fine. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.4° RH: 72.8% VPD: 0.81 kPa May 14, 2024 Not a lot going on today. Just some pics and a water weight check. Still heavy. The solo pics will be every other day and the Veg Tent pic will be everyday with the grow day marked. Sour Diesel A is stretching nicely now. She can start training in a couple days. Great color. Beautiful leaves. Sour Diesel B is amazing. She's growing out now and has a strong stem. The very top is pliable. Not great for training. I might have to wait for a bit more stretch from her. She has some excellent internodal spacing. Perfect greens and 7 finger leaves. A great sign for a healthy plant. She's definitely going to be the star of this show. But who knows. Sometimes, another plant will shoot up out of nowhere. It's happened to me. One plant looked great while the other had some early stress. That one turned into a 21 oz monster. Insane. Anyway, there you have it. Right now any of them to could just take off, but I'm putting my money with this lady. Sour Diesel C still has some tight internodal spacing. I need to wait for her to start stretching so she can begin training. We'll see when that will be. Great colors and super healthy, just growing differently for now. Sour Diesel D is the definite runt of the bunch. She's not far behind though and I may actually get to keep her in the tent with the rest and put my veg tent away for the next 6 or 7 weeks. Still, I have the option of keeping it out and using it to keep space open for all plants. 3 in a 3x3 would leave tons of room for them to bush out and fill the canopy. Anyway, great color and very healthy regardless of size. She still may produce a good yield. The light will stay the same as always. They all have a slight reach going on and I couldn't be happier. I'll run a DLI check before I move them to the big tent. So I know what light level to start at. The environment is looking great! The temp is at a nice 77° and the humidity is right at 72%. That will drop when they get in the 3x3. I'll keep it at 60% for the rest of the Veg cycle. I'd also like to note about the medium. This is super soil I think. Or it's just loaded with nutrients. Happily all of the plants too swimmingly to it with no stress. My only thing is with adding nutrients. I don't really have any veg nutrients at the moment, but as this is hot soil, I don't think I'll need any for the veg cycle anyway. However, flowering may be a different story. I have Advanced Nutrients Big Bud, Bud Candy, Overdrive, Sensi Cal/Mag Xtra, Tasty Terpenes and B-52. I think I'll use them. I could use the B-52 during veg, but as I said, this is hot soil. So unless they show signs of deficiency during Veg, I won't add it. No sense in overdoing it. These are autoflowers and don't need a ton of nutrients. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.5° RH: 74.9% VPD: 0.78 kPa May 15, 2024 All 4 ladies got a quarter gallon of water today. I forgot to PH it, so that's a mistake. I will definitely remember next time. Tap water is 7.3. Sour Diesel A looks great! Her branches are growing nicely and fast. She has nearly caught up with B, but she's still 1 node behind. This one seems to be a straight hybrid phenome. Sour Diesel B looks amazing! She has doubled in size and her branches are about half way to the edge of the container. Very exciting. This is a sativa dominant phenome. Sour Diesel C also looks great. She still has the tight internodal spacing, but it's getting better. She looks to be the same phenome as A is. Sour Diesel D is a straight up indica dominant phenome. Her leaves are super wide compared to the other plants. She is still smaller, but not by a lot. Branching hasn't really started yet. Not like A and B. All four plants are super healthy with perfectly green leaves. Their stems are pretty strong. Especially B. Her stem is very close to being unable to train. We shall see. I may be just pulling the side branches out and defoliating that one. The light seems to still be perfect. Slight praying on the outside and perfect on the inside. I rotated B because of this. She was starting to pull towards the light. I may be able to drop it down a smidge for a bit more intensity. They should be able to handle it and maybe grow even faster. I just don't want squat plants. Not leggy either. Where they are at is just right. The environment hasn't given me a problem yet. Temp remains in the high 70°s and the humidity stays just around 70%. I think I'm going to drop it a bit earlier than I intended. I think it's time for the humidity to be closer to 60%. The temp will definitely stay the same, if not climb to the very low 80°s. The night time environment is a bit cold running at and average of 66.8° with the humidity climbing up to 80%. Once I drop humidity, the temp should increase. And once they get in the 3x3 tent, they won't have any problems keeping it at 60% and 77°. The night temp should also increase slightly. I'm hoping for 68° to 69° average and I'd like the humidity to remain at 60%. Shouldn't be a problem. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.5° RH: 71.2% VPD: 0.84 kPa May 16, 2024 All 4 ladies are showing vigor. They will definitely need water tomorrow, but are all very happy plants. Huge leaves, strong stems. Beautiful color green. Sour Diesel A is now the second best of the 4. She's a little shorter than B, but has started spreading her branches and stretching to spread that internodal spacing. She looks great! Sour Diesel B is absolutely stunning. She has beautiful leaves of a lush green. Perfect internodal spacing ratio and a super stiff stem. The branches are nearly at the edge of the container from both nodes 1 and 2. Node 3 is about half way there with node 4 and 5 just starting out. Eventually, I'll have to tie her down, but as I said before, I may train her differently and just pull out the side branches. Sour Diesel C still has some pretty short nodes. Tall main stem, and she is starting to stretch, but still kind of tight. Huge leaves though. Like massive for the size of the plant. And I'm pretty sure she has the biggest leaves of all the plants. Indica dominant? Or straight up hybrid? We'll find out soon enough. Sour Diesel D is still short, but is catching up to C. And much like C, she is showing short nodes and big leaves. Beautiful color and a very nice plant, but not as nice as the other 3. I think I'll rotate them out tomorrow. Put A and B in the back with C and D up front. My light may be unlevel. I don't think I can fix it though. It's too light and the power cord is super stiff, so it pulls the light one way. Oh and I need to check the DLI. I have a feeling I can drop it down now. Just a few inches I think. Just to get that DLI up and make these ladies shoot up. The environment is still really nice with a temp of 77° and the humidity at 68%. Night temps are an average of 66°. I'll leave it his way until I get into the big tent which should be tomorrow. Or even tonight depending on how I feel. I have to check trichomes on one thing plants in the main tent and if they look ready, I can swap them out. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 72.8% VPD: 0.81 kPa May 17, 2024 We have finally moved into the main tent. It's a super tight fit, but it fits nonetheless. Now things to note as we go into the main tent. First, I'm pretty sure my light in the 2x2 wasn't level front to back. Mostly because Sour Diesel A and B are now twice as tall as Sour Diesel C and D. More developed and perfect spacing between the nodes. To solve this issue, I changed the orientation. In the very back of the tent, behind these ladies is the last Tropicana Cookies. This plant is floppy and bendy to say the least. That being said, it's propped up by one of the Banana Purple Punch's on the right with the second one in the right front. I placed Sour Diesel A and B in the back in front of the Tropicana Cookies. It's taller so there's less light getting to these two. In turn I put Sour Diesel C and D up front where there is more access to light. Let's hope they catch up. If not, then maybe they are different phenomes afterall. Sour Diesel A looks great! Completely caught up with B now. Beautiful color and strong stem. Her branches aren't as long as B, but they are definitely getting there. I think I'll start training in the next day or two. Sour Diesel B is amazing! Her nodes are perfect, her branches are spreading out to the edge of the container now and she is just begging to be trained. However, her stem is really thick and strong. So I have to wait for her to take off which should be any day. Then there is the pre-flower stretch. I'll be training just before that and a little bit during, just to position the branches accordingly. Sour Diesel C is shorter than A and B. About half the size to be honest. Right internodal spacing and I'm pretty sure lack of light quality kept them like this. I don't think it was too much light. That would t make any sense with a 100 watt light nearly 36 inches away. No chance. Anyway, so that's what I think happened. Sour Diesel D is still small as ever, but is now the same size as C, so that's a thing. As I said before, I put her up front with C to get a bit more light. Hopefully she catches up with A and B. If not, it's not really a big deal. All I have to do is place them on one side of the tent with risers and the taller two on the other side. I favor the taller on the left and shorter on the right. It's just the way the tent door opens and placement. I'll check the DLI today at some point today. It should be around 20 to 25 mol/m²/d which is spot on with the stage they are in. Also a much better light, so much better light quality and more efficient intensity. The environment in the main tent is a nightmare for the flowering plants, but for these 4 it's paradise. The Temp is hovering around 76° and the humidity is 62%. There's tons of airflow, so I'm not all that worried about the flowering plants for now. They get well taken care of. Of course I'm trying to drop the humidity down a lot for the flowering plants, but the weather here won't let me. It's been ridiculously humid out for the last week. Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.4° RH: 61.4% VPD: 1.17 kPa Quick Update: I had to increase the light power from 60% to 80%. I can't really move the light down yet, so I just I increased the power. Once all the other plants are out of the tent, I'll adjust accordingly I also took the light distance measurement and we are at a whopping 40.5" away. No matter, the DLI is what matters, and it's correct. May 18, 2024 No watering today. Just some leaf tucking and rearranging. Sour Diesel A looks great! She is the same size as B. Maybe a tiny bit taller now, but her branches aren't all that long yet. I could only tuck 3 leaves on this one. Still looks good and grew nearly 2" last night. Super vigorous. Sour Diesel B is the star of this show so far. Her branches are all long enough for full leaf tucking. I don't know how I plan on training her up. Maybe I'll bend the top, maybe I'll leave it alone and tie down the side branches. We shall see how things go. Sour Diesel C is smaller with shorter branches and still tight nodes. She's definitely not going to catch up to A and B. Not with how vigorous they are growing. Unless they stop randomly. Anyway, C looks good. She has perfectly healthy leaves and big ones at that. I managed to tuck 2 leaves, but that was it. Sour Diesel D is the same size as C. Same branch length. And no tucking available. She does look healthy. Super healthy, just growing differently. The light is perfectly spot on. I won't be changing it at all until all the other plants are out of the tent. Then I'll set the light to 24" from the canopy and power level down to 60% for a week. Maybe 70%, but I doubt it. We shall see The environment is perfect for these 4 plants. Not exactly perfect for the flowering plants. Actually, it's super horrible for the flowering plants. The temp is around 77° and the humidity is around 65%. Perfect for these ladies. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.4° RH: 64.3% VPD: 1.05 kPa

D71/F24 - 11.29 - There's not much to say about these two. They didn't even hiccup after the defoliation, though it does appear their stretch has just about finished. They both have fat greasy prebuds right now, and the Passion Berry has particularly long pistils. One of my Yacht Party clones wants to be a runt but I’m sure this will change after 1st week flower, otherwise everything else is growing uniformly! Welcome to my first grow report on this site! I've chosen for 4 Runtz seeds from Zamnesia. Seems to be a great strain, 50/50 hybrid with a high thc percentage. After 5 days, all 4 germinated. I don't do pre-germination, the seeds go straight into pre watered soil (Ph 6.2) Just kept the temperature between 22.6 - 27.4°C (72.6°F - 81.3°F) and the humidity between 64-94% No nutrients right now. Week 6 day 2: Week 6 Video (Clock Dial LST Tech): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lz-Z-PbSFWk Tied the lower branches down to the rim of the pots to space them out for flowering and ensure flat, level canopy. Definitely going for at least 8 weeks, maybe 9-10, before the flip. Want to root out these 5.4 gallon air pots and see what kind of yield I can get. Removed first node of each branch entirely & a few scattered leaves now shading, topped all but 1 of the plants at the pot edge; A couple didn't quite make it that long because amazon decided to lose my soft ties and the wire ties cut through the stem. It'll be fine either way. Not happy with the runty two, but three out of five are gorgeous. Shame there's little point in keeping a clone mother with a 6 plant limit. Only Recharge once this week because I'm too snowed in to go get purified water; the PPM here is already 660-700, didn't want to add much to the water so I just put bio rhizotonic and pHed it.
