Adding Mephisto Sour Hound to my tent of autos. Really excited about growing some Mephisto Genetics, been hearing amazing things about Mehphisto (I also have a Alien vs Triangle going in a separate diary). This is a free seed I received with my order from Seedsman last fall (BTW Seedsman ROCKS!). This first seed failed to pop so I planted a second and that one popped in 4 days!. My Perpetual Harvest strategy…. Originally my plan was to start 2 seeds each month, but had some seeds from one breeder that did not germinate early in my rotation. Ultimately, this caused single seeds to pop and messed up my 2 at a time plans. But, that seemed to work out OK, because now I think starting one seed every 3 weeks is a better strategy. This should provide me with 4-5 plants at a time, instead of 6. However… Since I need to shut down over the summer because my tent is currently in the attic, I’m starting 2-3 seeds at at time for the last couple of rounds. Plants get fed once weekly on weekends. Seedlings get water only. Plants in vegetation get water and Recharge. Flowering plants get water, Recharge or Big Bloom (Fox Farm). Feeding is done using 2 gallon watering can. Any additional waterings during the week are given on an as needed basis per plant. I lift the plants to help determine which plants are more dry (lighter) and provide water any plants via water bottles and watering spikes. I give each pot a quarter turn every day in an effort to make sure the plants get equal lighting from all sides. I rotate the plant in place by turning the pot 90 degrees (I am not rearranging the layout of the plants in the tent on a daily basis). The soil is an ‘organic super soil’ I mixed myself using organic top soil, organic potting soil, organic compost, organic peat moss, organic perlite, organic vermiculite, lime, epsom salt, expanded clay pellets and Jobe’s organic fast start. I am also recycling my soil and water with Recharge when using recycled soil. For plant training I have tried a variety of things, but my plans now are to do LST bending only, no HST anymore. I may decide to go back to HST again in the future, but I’m curious to compare LST training only to see how that goes. Around week 3 I'll do a FIM pinch once there are 4-5 nodes established. And some defoliation around the 3rd week of flowering. I have been doing HST bending and having good results, but think the HST may be causing the plants to take longer to harvest. I hope FIM/defoliation only will help increase harvests while getting me to harvest sooner. This has been my first grow so it is hard to compare to anything else strain wise but I was amazed at the stress it was put through due to my noobie mistakes and still made it through without hermie or low yield! I am also assuming a 75% conversion rate to about 5 oz dry. Ill be coming back and updating one last time once they're cured with an updated dry amount!

4 Oz of dry bud ready to cure. The best harvest to day and with the best flavor / smell. Really want to keep growing other Ethos cultivars, if this quality is sustained will be growing Ethos every year! Been using the app more and hope to put here the next grow mainly. Will need to learn a way to use custom nutes on grow diaries, for now, Grow with Jane is amazing.

Lots of growth and flower development over the last week. The smell is starting to come through, but I've been congested, and can't really pinpoint any particular aromas yet. Gave each plant 1TBSP Bloom fertilizer and wet top of soil down w/recharge on Saturday and have been slowly removing lower bud sites throughout the week.

Flowering week 5. PH: 6.1 / Saturday - Sunday EC: 1.44 PH: 6.0 EC: 1.52 / Monday - Tuesday PH: 5.9 EC: 1.60 / Wednesday (04/03/2026)- The plant drinks, ph stays 5.9-6.0 and the ec is slowly decreasing.

The BruceBanner3 was nice to grow and we can absolutely her. she produced a lot of buds and brought us a yield of 65g dried. It tastes very delicious, much fruitier than the runtz. Despite a temporary lack of calmag and the wrong ph value, she rewards us with juicy buds You can really taste the terps, we had never smoked anything like it before!

Week 16 - 06/28 - 07/04 Light - 200 W HPS & 265 W LED Day Temperature - 78 F Night Temperature - 68 F Humidity - 40 +/-5 D59 Flower - Came home from vacation to some fat sugar coated buds! I flushed them with FloraKleen and molasses, this should be the last one before I snip down the main colas. Since they are close to harvest, I spent about an hour defoliating so harvest will go a little quicker. D60 Flower - Took the ladies out to breathe, take some pics, and snipped the tops off the Royal Gorilla's. I'm going to allow the Hulkberry's to mature a little longer and probably do the same thing and snip the tops. D61 Flower - Unfortunately HB #3 hermies on me, she had a bunch of "bananas". So I cut her down and hung her to dry, Sucks to lose her but she will do well in some RSO! Unmanicured wet weight was 251 g. I am also going to be testing out the bowl bud trimmer I just ordered on these buds to make sure they dont damage the buds too much.

Nothing to do but watch and maintain environment.

9L Pot was harvest 6 days before 12L pot with 66g dry bud plus 3.1g bubble hash. Total 69g 12L Pot was left for 6 more days and the harvest weight was 123g plus 7.3g bubble hash. Total 130g The buds is rock hard and cover in crystals. The smoke is balanced great hybrid.

They seem happy and growing quite fast!

It’s now showing pistils pretty well, and I got some critical peyote from Barney farms In a napkin right now There is a little burnt tip on fan leaves I think too much nitrogen since it’s in the big pot and the leaves are dark green. But looks good happy I picked the internodes during preflower too

It could be even better with a more controlled environment. It's already more satisfactory than GHS. The end is near; they're starting their flushing, and harvest will be in a week or two. I'm thinking of investing in air conditioning for better climate and environmental management.

ok so everything has gone fantastic , no nutrient burns at all , and have been slowly creeping up the base nutrients , i have stopped the cal mag and now adding house and gardens bud XL at full strength these girls are now in full swing of flower and i bought a new ph stick this week , i have found when PHing the feed bucket that its best too have air stones in the bucket , add all nuts and then ph but do not use the feed that day as if you check the next day the ph is off again so i left it 24 hours after i add more ph down , and it seems too make the measurements alot easier and stable , i have bent down the main stems " without damaging them onto my netting too A keep the canopy all the same high so my lighting is covering all plants at the same distance and also it allowed the side stems too reach up too , i also was sponsored another new led light by kingbo this week so have added another 600watt led too the grow , so now have two 600's and one 900watt , and temps are still fine sitting at 24c lights on and 19-20 off , so am pleased with that , this lady is nice and compact and tight lots of leaves that I had too remove too open up her bud sites , stretch was also minimal ,
