September 16, 2021 - Everything is chugging along nicely. Both girls are growing at a nice pace. I noticed a couple of fungus gnats earlier this week (I suspect they came in with the cheap soil I'm using with the herb garden). I've been letting the soil dry out and also put out new yellow sticky tape. I'm also spraying the plants with a rotating regimen of Neem Oil, Dr. Zymes and diluted Peppermint essential oils. I rotate spraying with a different solution every 3 days. I'll keep this up until flowering starts. I'll also be dropping new seeds next weekend. I'm going for a perpetual harvest with 2 plants starting every 4 weeks. 👍 Cya next week!!!

2018-04-03. Week 22, day 3. Remo Nr 1 is doing fantastic and she is a big and massive beauty. The flowers/buds is growing bigger and bigger and smells strong of summer and earth. I think she will yield a lot by the look of her right now. Nr1 have grown 3 cm in height last week. Nr 2 is still recovering and she is getting better but still dont look that good, but the flowers grows and you can start smelling her more and more. I have faith in this girl and that she will produce some nice medicine. Strain information. Remo Chemo cannabis seeds by Dinafem Seeds belong to a feminised Indica-dominant marijuana plant born from a collaboration with the legendary Canadian cannabis grower Urban Remo, a real high-flyer within the international cannabis field. Remo Chemo, created by Urban Remo after crossing a UBC Chemo with a regular Bubba Kush male, is the genetics selected for developing this project. The results obtained when testing a cutting of such magnificent cross were so amazing that we backcrossed her to ensure the genetics was not diluted but remained pure and intact. With this creation, we’ve managed to make Urban Remo’s favourite cannabis strain accessible to all: a potent and stable strain, with major therapeutic properties and high THC content. One of the strains within this marijuana seed's genetic structure, UBC Chemo, is a really potent strain that, according to legend, was developed by some researchers from the University of British Columbia with the objective of alleviating the side effects of chemotherapy in cancer patients. Her extremely high THC levels not only make her a must for cannabis gourmets with a liking for mind-blowing genetics but they also confer a myriad of therapeutic properties on her. In fact, her effectiveness in relieving the back pain he is in contributes to her being Urban Remo’s favourite marijuana strain. His YouTube channel has lots of subscribers and his strain reviews have become indispensable for most marijuana users. At Dinafem, we had long been itching to work with him. Therefore, we didn’t hesitate when the opportunity came up. When travelling to Europe, this world-renowned cannabis activist was surprised by the lack of Canadian cannabis genetics at international fairs. That’s why we decided to join forces with Remo and create a Canadian feminised strain that bears his name. Morphology Remo Chemo is a dense and sturdy Indica-dominant plant that must be evenly pruned, low branches included. At the end of the flowering, her dark-green leaves tend to acquire purplish hues which are sometimes so dark as to seem almost black. A real sight to behold. Yielding capacity Without her being particularly heavy-yielding, Remo Chemo’s crops are really potent, which balances the final outcome. Her buds are round, uniform and compact, noted for their remarkable density and amazing resin count. On top of that, the THC levels are high, easily exceeding the 20 %. Cultivation Remo Chemo thrives when grown in dry environments and provided with intense light. Thanks to the legacy of Bubba Kush, the lack of water is not a problem for her. However, if we want to boost her yielding properties, she’d better be well hydrated. As for the right amount of nutrients, we must ensure our plants are not overfed since this could be detrimental to the flavour’s intensity. Aromas and flavours The predominant scent is that of a classic Kush, i.e., strong and intense, lingering long in the palate and bringing to mind the typical classic Californian flavours. If we’re to be more precise, she also delivers hints of earth, petrol and black pepper. Her taste and aroma are simply delicious, almost instantly captivating those who smell her. Results Remo Chemo delivers a potent effect that, thanks to her high THC levels, helps alleviate the side effects of cancer treatment (vomiting and nausea), boosts the appetite and reduces pain. But Remo Chemo can be used for recreational purposes as well, with a really intense physical high. No doubt her effect being so amazingly psychoactive will delight THC-lovers. 1st prize −Indica category− at the 2017 Expogrow Cup. 1st prize −Indica category− at the 2017 Karma Cup (Canada). Our beauty is now 3 weeks old and has grown to nearly 18 cm tall, continuing to develop strong and healthy. We’ve decided to enhance her nutrition by continuing to feed her with Xpert Nutrients fertilizers, which provide everything she needs for balanced growth. Additionally, we’ve started using CO2 to further stimulate active growth. The daytime temperature remains at 28°C, nighttime at 21°C, and the humidity is maintained at 65%. We are still keeping the light schedule at 12/12, closely monitoring how the plant responds to these conditions. A big thank you to Xpert Nutrients for their high-quality fertilizers, and our CO2 experiment promises to be exciting!

This week was the best week so far. My ladies doubled in size. They are now in full flowering and all my lol lovely ladies are doing Great we have switched to flowering nutrients and cranked up the lights. The new 4000 LED light is a monster as well .I can't wait to see how these autos do. So surprised at the results I'm getting from these lovely ladies. Still astonish to see autos at 3 ft tall. I will recommend a quality seed. Makes the grow so much easier. Each week is like watching a baby grow into an adult. Stay tuned. As always, I have a couple tricks up my sleeve to go ahead and fatten up the buds and really packing on the turps. Happy budding and as always, stay high

Good progress overall. I'm thinking of changing the pot size for this space. Flowering has started for all the plants, so the nutrient supply is the same. Things are starting to get simpler at this stage of cultivation.

Harvest about a week early to not get any amber thricomes. The buds look amazing so sugary don’t want them to become amber. Will press like 70-80% into rosin. So don’t want no ambers’s. Otherwise this strain was amazing to grow! It was super stable all the time and produced some Sick buds for me! This shit smells like gods v*gina!

This week i changed wather and started to go with canna rhizotonic roots. They starting to get big and i startet to train them under the nets. Lights are boosted to 1000w and the LED same 100W. End this week i switch lights to 12/12. Big Bud is not doing good i try next time to get the same strains each tub to prvent nutrient problems. Ec was rising high to 1.5 so i put tap water inside to get him to 1.4 and awaiting next week. Ph is so far stable to 6.0, reason why is mineral magic really helps to keep the nutrients stable. We hear us next week when i turn lights on other time. Thanks and happy growing :)

Week 12 - Flower Week 7 12. of Feb. Day 78 - Flower Day 43 Reservoir steady in the mid-1.6 EC range. pH behaving normally after corrections. Drinking roughly around a liter per 24h. The tops are mostly orange. Very few white pistils up top. That’s what’s dominating my attention. It feels early for them to look this mature. I start questioning whether the late-January catastrophe pushed her into finishing prematurely. Trichomes look mostly clear on closer inspection - not milky like I first thought. That’s important. 13. of Feb Day 79 - Flower Day 44 Pre top-off EC dips slightly - small sign of uptake. pH stable in the mid-5s after correction. Still fixated on the topmost crowns. They look static. I compare pictures from a week earlier and struggle to see obvious swelling. That’s frustrating. 14th of Feb Day 80 - Flower Day 45 Numbers stable again. EC mid-1.6s, pH mid-5.8s after top-off. Drinking steady but not aggressive. I consider whether development has stalled. Buds look healthy, not deteriorating - but not exploding either. 15th of Feb Day 81 - Flower Day 46 The mental tension is still there. Considered drastic action (flush), but decided against it after reviewing the data. Numbers weren’t extreme. Plant wasn’t collapsing. Chose stability instead of panic. EC held in the mid-1.6 range. pH stable. Drinking continued. EC trends stable. pH predictable. Roots healthy. No worsening damage. 16th of Feb Day 82 - Flower Day 47 00:15 pre top-off: pH 5.5 EC 1484 She drank just over a liter. After top-off: pH ~5.8 EC mid-1.6 This is the first real shift in perspective. I notice that underneath the canopy, popcorn buds and mid-level sites still have completely white pistils. That’s a crucial observation. If she were truly finishing early, those would not be fresh and white. This doesn’t look like shutdown. It looks uneven maturity between canopy layers. 17th of Feb Day 83 - Flower Day 48 00:10 pre top-off: pH 5.73 EC 1564 After circulation: pH 5.75 EC 1620 EC meter seems to show too low values at first. Drinking 1L again. This is the day I actually see bulking happening. Not on the very tip of the highest tops - but right below them. The secondary crowns are stacking visibly. Calyxes swelling. Structure thickening. I realize I’ve been staring at the most stressed tissue (the very tops affected by the earlier light/EC incident) instead of looking at the plant as a whole. 18th of Feb Day 84 - Flower Day 49 Pre top-off: pH 5.92 EC ~1.6-1.7 (meter slightly inconsistent but trend stable) After top-off: pH 5.87 EC 1620 She drinks over a liter again. The brown pistils on the very top now feel less like “premature finish” and more like scars from the January event. Lower pistils remain white. Calyxes are not collapsing. Bud density is slowly improving. This week ends in a different place than it began. Not explosive. Not perfect. But alive, feeding, stacking - and very much still in flower. Next week should hopefully be all about stability and bulking.

My diary is a little late to the party as I just found this site. These are a White Widow cross that a friend gifted to me so I dont really know exactly what they are. Its my first time growing but with some advice and research I feel I'm doing ok. I wasn't comfortable topping so I just pruned some leaves and lower growth tips that won't get light. I'm not sure how old it really is so I'm just guessing here. Feel free to point out anything that needs work.

All I can say is that this thing is a beast. She likely only has a week or two left so I did one last small top dress with dry amendments as well as some ewc and super soil to top it off. Cant wait to watch this girl really fatten up. She’s already having trouble holding up the colas. 😎🍿🍻🌱
