Another solid week, I've upped the EC of the solution a bit to keep her going as she transitions into flower. Starting to get a sweet smell now and I see a few purple pistils mixed in as well. Things are about to get fun!

its may 12th, I've caught up on my growing diary for now :) these are pretty much all recent photos. The buds are looking great, absolutely breath taking, for doing something my first time im so happy with the progress and have so so much more to learn :) Please like, comment, or DM with any questions or if you just wanna talk!

And here we go into flowering week seven. The buds are looking impressive by now. I feel like they're starting to bulk up - hopefully, those internodal gaps fill in nicely. Temperature and humidity are stable. I aim for 25°C during the day, and at night, it drops to around 21.5–22°C. Humidity stays between 45–50%. I could probably lower it further, but that would make things too hot, so I trust my airflow and ventilation instead. On day 70, I noticed a couple of leaves showing early ‘autumn colors.’ I’m curious how much longer this will take. Plagron additives like Sugar Royale, Power Buds, and Green Sensation are said to accelerate ripening. DNA Genetics suggests 9–10 weeks of flowering, so it’s getting exciting. Amber trichomes are a must for this Kush diva! 😉 Some parts of the plant seem to be purpling! That’s interesting since nights aren’t particularly cold. Could it be phosphate-related? Light stress? Just the strain? The smell is changing more and more towards citrus - like a ‘sharp, earthy lemon.’ It almost reminds me of a wood polish! 😄 I'm gradually removing any drying leaves at the bottom, but other than that, there’s not much to do - just watering, keeping an eye on temp and humidity, and relaxing. 14.11.2025 Was going to close the diary today but as it doesn't smell anymore I decided to close the diary this coming Tuesday, smell shifted from chemical fish ammonia to cooked fish with the additional Citric acid I sprayed in, rest in video 📸 🐟💀 FERMAKOR: The Dorade Incident – Spontaneous Batch Log (Because the fish came with guts, and I don’t waste potential) --- 🍽️ How It Started I ordered two big Dorades for dinner. Didn’t bother ticking the “cleaned” box. They arrived whole — full organs, eyes staring, one of them with a stomach packed with broken seashells (free CaCO₃ bonus). So instead of complaining, I just said: “Alright, fine. Dinner first. Hydrolysis later.” --- ⚗️ Phase 1 — The Gut Start (Day 1) Material: 160 g of fresh guts straight from the fish. KOH: 20 g (yep, strong ratio, I know). Water: ~250 mL warm. Dissolved KOH → poured over → stirred → left to liquefy. Within minutes it warmed up and foamed; by evening it was already turning into that deep brown, oil-slick mix I like. --- Phase 2 — The Rest Goes In (Day 2) After dinner, all the remaining parts go into the same container: Heads, bones, fins, skin — roughly 500–600 g. Add another 30–35 g KOH and ~0.5 L water. Stir and let it digest for a week or two or three, until smooth. The seashells stay in — they buffer the pH and slowly release Ca and trace minerals. --- ⚖️ Phase 3 — Neutralization Once the mix settles, I’ll neutralize down to pH 6.2–6.4 using phosphoric acid. Target ~40 mL of 59 % H₃PO₄ for the whole thing. Then strain through cheesecloth / pillowcase (no coffee filter — that’s only for exports 😎). --- Storage Bottled in brown flip-top German beer bottles. Label: “FERMAKOR FISH BASE – DORADE INCIDENT – 2025-11-06” Shake before use, store dark. --- 🌿 Application 10 mL per 30 L barrel mid-flower as amino + micro boost. Clean N-P-Ca + enzymes, zero smell, instant uptake.

This is a clone only strain I have been running for a little while and it never disappoints! Dense buds that stink the whole place up with its earthy, pungent, sweet smell. Not a huge yielder but it makes up for it in resin production. Probably not a good strain for First time growers as it needs topped, trained, and trellised. Overall happy with the way this run turned out lots of main buds, I ended up with 316.3 grams of trimmed nice frosty buds. I also took the rest of the buds (when they were wet)and put them in the freezer for some ff bubble hash. I ended up with 433.7 grams of wet fresh frozen material.

The pound cake auto is really taking off. I’m happy I didn’t top the plant and just let it do its thing. It’s gonna have big long bugs all over the whole plant is just gonna be nugs. Not sure what I did with this plant but I got the roots perfect this time and it’s showing it the growth of the plant

Every plant in this project is being grown using the 12/12 From Seed technique. Rather than extending the vegetative stage before inducing flowering, every seed has lived under twelve hours of light and twelve hours of darkness from the very first day. That means I never decide when flowering begins. The plants do. Each phenotype follows its own internal clock, revealing its own pace and personality. It's one of the reasons this project has become such an incredible learning experience. Watching sister plants develop into completely different individuals under identical conditions never stops amazing me. 🌸 Week One of Flower This week marks what I consider Week One of Flower. The transition is now unmistakable. Fresh white pistils are emerging across every growing tip, quietly announcing that the plant has shifted her priorities from building stems and leaves to creating flowers. These tiny white hairs may seem insignificant today... …but they are the first chapter of every future cola. Every morning seems to bring another cluster of pistils, another little burst of growth, and another reminder of how quickly this stage evolves. It's one of my favourite moments in the entire cultivation cycle. The excitement is only just beginning. 🌿 A Structure Built for Success Now standing close to 96 cm, Pheno B has become one of the tallest ladies in the room. Rather than producing a dense, compact canopy, she's expressing a wonderfully open architecture. Long internodal spacing. Strong central stem. Healthy side branching. Excellent airflow. Instead of fighting her natural shape, I've simply allowed her to develop the way she wanted. No aggressive training. No heavy defoliation. Just a little leaf tucking here and there to improve light penetration while letting the plant write her own story. Sometimes the best thing a grower can do... ...is simply stay out of the plant's way. The result is an elegant framework where every future flowering site has room to breathe and access to plenty of light. 💧 Hand Watering — Every Plant, Every Decision Unlike some of her sisters growing on AutoPots, Pheno B continues to be hand-watered. There's something incredibly rewarding about this approach. Every watering becomes an opportunity to slow down. To observe. To inspect every leaf. To notice the smallest changes before they become problems. Rather than simply feeding the plant, hand watering encourages a closer relationship with her development. As flowering begins, the nutrition program continues its gradual transition toward bloom production. Bloom nutrients are now taking a larger role while enough nitrogen remains available to support the final stretch before the plant fully dedicates her energy to building flowers. It’s amazing watching these plants grow, it’s been an experience already and so much to go with this grow and with all the learning to come I hope it looks okay to you guys anyone who would like to comment please do I’d love to hear other’s thoughts!

Dialed back the nutrients (every second feeding still is water+Lemonjuice only) after seeing some limegreen/burnt leavetips on plant #2. The tips on #3 we're also getting brighter and its serrations we're standing up from the leaves all over the plant (sawtoothing I think its called). Since the sawtoothing is not limited to the upper growth I think its something related to nutrients and not light/wind-burn. The trellisnetting allowed me to keep plant #2 at 50cm while #3 catched up to over 45cm with the tops of the 4 upper flowers. In the process #2's tops got stretched over the full width of the tent, almost mainlined. I try my best at curving them inwards again to mitigate some of the stretch right now, but at some point the only way will be up.👆 Learning a lot about how pliable the plant is. In retrospect I could have topped #2 two or even three times instead of once. #3 is really going into flower this week, while #2 hasnt gotten the memo yet. After 12 days of 12/12 there are no white pistils, except some really tiny ones in the pre-flower bracts at the nodes.

Gushers has just been switched to ph water yesterday. The Spider Farmer G5000 Light has been turned down to 60 percent. I will be harvesting her in about a week. 2/13/2023 - Day 42: Start to week 6. Overall the plants are doing good, except the weird tip curling and yellowing. Initially i thought it may be either under or over watering, but the soil seems good. Not too wet or too dry. Then I thought possibly nitrogen toxicity, but the leaves don't look overly green. I now think it may be heat or light related, so I lowered the power on the light and raised it up a few inches. I also lowered the temp in the tent a few degrees. It could also be the new soil is a bit too hot still, and I've been throwing the kitchen sink at them, so I plan to just water with plain water the next few times and hopefully they will grow out of this. Plan to add the trellis net this week and start spreading the tallest plants out. 2/14/2023 - Day 43: Added the trellis net and did some light defoliation on the lowest part of a few plants. Plan to do more of a major defoliation next time I water. Also, the new growth appears ro be doing better, so I think raising the light fixed the problem. 2/16/2023 - Day 45: watered about 3.5 gallons, which is about 5% of the volume of the bed. I'm pretty sure the leaf curl I was seeing was a combination of light or heat stress, and slightly too much nitrogen, which is likely from the foliar spayed I was doing. Considering this, I decided to add a few things to the water. I mixed in ThermX-70, Comfrey Extract, Yah-Whey, FishShit, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, and BuildASoil Big 6. I also did some additional defoliating to allow for some additional light penetration into the middle of the plants. Just started bending the tallest branches under the scrog net as well. Let's hope the girls have a positive reaction. 2/18/2023 - Day 47: did my weekly IPM. Foliar sprayed with distilled water mixed with BuildASoil EM-5. Also, realized I made a slight mistake. When I turned the lights up the other day, I never turned the schedule back on, so the lights have been on for 3 days straight. Luckily, the plants are still in veg, and they seemed to handling it well. The Grand Prix 3 had some minor leaf curling on the edges of some leaves, bit otherwise they still look good. They are back on 18/6 now.

Day 57 Day 15 flower - what can I say? No issues reported so far, did some more defoliation below the scrog and tidied up some of the flower sites, removed a few of the old fan leaves and checked on Zkittlez OG, she is frosty already and starting to look really sparkly and beautiful 💎😍 The others are also showing some frost and bud development is going well!! Exciting times ahead! 290319 day 59 flower day 17 - no issues apart from slight heat stress for the girl in the middle, will adjust the light tomorrow to ease the stress. Bud candy just arrived so I will add 1ml/l on next feed tomorrow morning! Overall the bud sites have came through in numbers and are looking very strong and healthy, OG Zkittlez auto has turned into diamonds of trichomes and the others are following suite 😍 more updates to come! Hopefully skittlez is finished in the next 3 weeks! Also added a rotating flow to get good air flow in the tent, there were some dead spots. 020419 day 63 flower day 21

Put the plants in a environment (-> tent) where I could control temp. and humidity better. Plants #2 and #3 moved from their 200ml pots into 8L fabrics on day 25. Could have waited a few days with that, since barely any roots where visible. Applied some Dynomyco and water with very low amount of Hesi TNT to all plants on day 25. At about this point my excitement grew, since growth was finally accelerating and a little smell proofed that this was at least the right kind of plant. Slowly introduced the GCxSolo at about 35cm distance on day 19 and increased its output from 25-100% over 2 weeks.
